If I export a video file to a Wraptor DCP using Premiere 2023 or 2024 on a Windows system (10 or 11), it takes a very long time. When I look at the performance tab in task manager, I see that the CPU is only being utilized at around 5%. The Nvidia GPU flucuates between 5 and 10%. Can anything be done to get Premiere to use more of the computer's resources when exporting a DCP?
An exported MXF file with embedded SRT as CC-608 displays some apostrophes as squares. In the meantime the original SRT file in Premiere before export contains proper text (no dingbat squares anywhere). Has anyone had this or similar experience? End result screenshots attached below. Thanks in advance.
So i am having problems with my video glitching in adobe premiere. Even before I export the completed video, there are glitches. I try to find solutions but nothing is working. Any advice to remove the glitches? I have attached a picture below of what the glitch looks on my end. Thanks!
I’m running into a frustrating issue with Premiere Pro 2025: random glitches appear on my footage. Sometimes they move to different clips or disappear entirely. This never happened in previous versions of Premiere. I’ve already updated my NVIDIA drivers, but the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix? It’s driving me crazy.
As described, we are having datamosh video glitches on our exports and even on timeline preview (25.0, 25.1 has mostly disappeared), ranging from Premiere 24.6 to 25.1. We usually export on "YouTube 4K" setting or "Adaptative Bits - Medium". Either of them cause this issues. We are having this glitches with our Sony Z90 array of cameras. We can't provide screenshots due to our client, but we have provided a .XML from one of the files that glitched recently, just for spec-catching purposes. I'll be sharing some tips to overcome this situation for other users who find this: - When you got your corrupted clips detected and selected, transcode them with Shutter Encoder (recommended), Handbrake or similar to any compression you desire (I used Apple ProRes just in case). Then replace the file inside the timeline.- It doesn't happen on any other cameras apart from this Z90 we own (not happening on GoPro footage for example)- It may happen at the beginning of clip cuts, or even in th
Hello, I've had some issues trying to import any .xml files into premiere pro. When I attempt to either drag in/directly import an .xml file, I get an error stating "The project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened." Additionally, the file import failure message claims the file is located in my temporary local app data as a .prpoj file, but it's in my downloads as a .xml. I've tried downgrading Premiere to 25.2, scanning the .xml file for corruption with XML Wrench, and importing to different projects from various locations (downloads, documents, etc.) I've attached the .xml in case it provides any information, but considering this error occurs with all .xml files I've tried, I don't believe it's the issue. (On Windows 10, Premiere Pro 25.2.3 and 25.2)
Issue: Upon importing a .MOV file with supported codecs into Premiere Pro 23.1 or later, the video file is only recognized as an audio file. I work on Adobe Premiere Pro for work and my .MOV files from Lumix GH6 do not show video in Premiere Pro 23.1 or 23.2. This issue seems to only occur on my M1 Macbook pro from 2021. I own the exact same machine for my personal use and the issue does not occur. However, I've spoken in depth with two seperate Adobe customer service reps and haev gotten nowhere. The first time the case was closed in hopes that the 23.2 build would solve the problem, then it didn't so I reached out again only to assisted by a new rep who also could not figure out the issue, and his only suggestion is to reinstall the OS on my laptop, which is something I cannot do. This is pretty frustrating as I know this is a strange issue, but I don't appreciate the lack of assistance. I'm curious if literally anyone else is experiencing this issue?? Please help, because A
I used PluralEyes for years and had my workflow down pat. When it stopped working – I started trying to use Premiere Pro’s “Create Multi-Cam Sequence” feature. It does not seem at all intuitive. With PaluralEyes – I’d put everything in a timeline, synch it, nest the video, change the sequence settings, scale the video clips, choose the correct audio track, and start editing. I must be missing something because Premiere’s sync is just not that easy to get set up. Most of my projects are 3 hours of footage with 3 cameras. The first thing is that every time I try I get a “could not synchronize one or more clips in the current selection because a match could not be found” error. It doesn’t show which clip is the issue. There’s no helpful info on how to get passed that. But by selecting the clips in different ways I can usually get it to create the multicam sequences. But sometimes it numbers them say 1-7 and then there’s an extra one called ACAM and then there are usually some clips left o
I have been trying to debug this for months but I am unable to get to the bottom of it. When I edit my videos after around 20 minutes of editing the playback screen will just go black and I can't understand why. I have to close PP and then reopen it. When I do that it works for another 10 minutes and then does that same thing.I have completed the below de-bugging steps:- Uninstalled and reinstalled PP- Using Proxies- Moved from editing videos stored on my computers SSD to using a hard drive- Taken my computer to a shop to see if they could see anything wrong with my GPU but it seems to be in perfect working order. I can watch 4k no problem.- Editing on 1/8 playback still causes black screen- Changed the Video Rendering and Playback Renderer settings. Both CUDA and Software only have the same effect.I have attached a screenshot of my computer set-up. It's a self-build that cost quite a bit, I believe the computer should be more than capable of editing the videos. I have also attach
So it seems I have a mogrt file that was created from an AE grfx template that had a font associated with it that we do not have and are not using. Is there a way to remove the font from being associated with the Premier project that mogrt was used in or stop the ‘unresolvable font’ window from popping up? It takes about a 1:20 for the window to pop up after opening the project so just long enough for me to just start woking on something then bam, this annoying window opens up every time. I also think this missing font thing may be related to a missing font warning (for a font I do have) I get every time I try to export anything through Media Encoder too. Thanks for any help!
I've made several motion graphics templates, that are relativly simple, like lower thirds. When I first made them they worked just fine, but after a bit (maybe a week) when you drag them into the timeline in premiere, it freezes up the timeline, forcing you to restart premiere. I originally uploaded these templates to the essential graphics window, and had them in the adobe library for my coworkers to be able to pull from. When this issue first started, i thought it might have to do with pulling the files from the cloud library, so I exported the MOGRT file and had everyone who one use it, download it so the file was local to each person's computer. The problem continues. I don't know if this is a big that needs to be fixed or if i'm exporting something incorrectly?
There is a very common error I am receiving while logging footage: "The file is busy, and couldn't be updated".This happens to random R3D and sometimes entire folders while trying to write data to the xmp.I can't be sure if it is only a RED file problem or not at this moment. If the data is written with the error message, it will no longer be there the next time the project is opened. Adobe Customer Support says that this is common problem and it will be fixed in the next update. Somehow I highly doubt that. Anyone else experiencing this problem that could help? Adobe is no use.
I have the 2025 version of the Adobe suite installed on an HP Victus machine with a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 32 GB of RAM, a GeForce RTX graphics card, and Windows 11 as the operating system. The graphics card drivers are up to date, and the cache memory dedicated to the Adobe suite is cleared. My problem is that Premiere and After Effects do not show any previews. I have the same versions installed on a Mac Mini with lower specs, and everything works fine on the Mac.How can I fix this issue on the Windows 11 machine?
I've discussed this with Adobe's tech support both on chat and phone. The preset keyboard shortcuts disappeared. I get a grey keyboard in the Keyboard Settings window. I've reinstalled the entire Adobe collection at least twice and the tech guys have done everything they could think of so far with library and preferences files, etc. I have no custom settings. It's pretty much stopped me in my tracks, I can't right click using the control key. Command Q doesn't work. Nothing. I'm using a Mac Studio M4 that's about a month old, 48GB ram. Thanks in advance.
Problem: There is no way to transcribe a specific clip in a sequence, and select one block of transcript to create captions from that specific block of text. The CC button creates an entire sequence of captions, ignoring the in/out points set by the user. I have a 10-minute video, I only want captions for a specific 15 second clip. There is no way to isolate that 15 second clip to be transcribed and captioned. Steps to encounter the bug:1. Create in-out points on your timeline.2. Transcribe the entire sequence because Premiere will ignore your in-out points.3. Highlight a specific paragraph of transcribed text.4. Click "closed-captions" for that specific block of transcribed text, while you have your in-out points set.5. Create captions for the entire sequence because Premiere will ignore your in-out points.6. ???7. Pay $35 every month. Software: No 3rd party functions installed. Running the latest version of Premiere Pro 2024.Hardware: Windows 11, version 23H2, Asus Creator L
Hi there, I am sure way back in the day I was able to enable multi-cam and switch between Camera 1,2,3, etc. AND independently be able to switch between Audio Track 1, 2, 3, etc.). It's very possible I'm crazy, but I am sure I was able to switch between audio just like video, but I only have [1] as the audio option. I know there are ways to get all audio tracks from the multi-cam sequence into the new sequence, but I can't keep them linked and so when there are multiple different interviews, getting out of sync is very easy.I'm going through the premierepro.net multi-cam page now, so I might figure it out. But if you know what I'm talking about, I sure would appreciate some input. Thanks!
Hi all, After updating to Premiere Pro 25.2.1 (Build 2), I'm encountering the "Error code -1609629695" during export. The issue occurs specifically when using Lumetri Color adjustments and CUDA rendering.System Specs:Laptop: Alienware x17 R2OS: Windows 11 ProCPU: Intel Core i9-12900HK @ 2.50 GHzGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPURAM: 64 GBDriver: NVIDIA Studio Driver 576.02What I've Tried:Switching from CUDA to OpenCL allows export without error.Cleared media cache – no effect.Updated NVIDIA drivers – already current.Narrowed it down to Lumetri Color:Applying a Log-to-Rec709 LUT in the "Creative" section works fine.Any manual adjustments (exposure, contrast, curves, etc.) trigger the error. No other effects applied.Same error occurs when exporting through Media Encoder.Tested with a very short clip, so it's not a system resource issue.Full Error Message: Error compiling movie.Accelerated Renderer ErrorUnable to produce frame.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file:
Hi all, I have had this on and off for a long time now and figure I should ask the question. I can't work out if this is something I am doing wrong, but I regularly find that audio in my projects does not respond as I believe it should do to normalizing audio gain. For example, I am currently working in a project and setting Normalise All Peaks on an individual audio clip to -6 - however, the audio meter when played back only hits -9. The waveform DOES change (it boosts quite significantly as the original audio in this instance was recorded quietly), but if I want it to hit -6 on the audio meter, I actually need to go to -3 on Normalise All Peaks. It's almost like everything is -3 behind what it should be - I can't explain it any other way. There are no other audio effects applied e.g. volume, track audio etc. As far as I can tell, everything is at default. I'm not the most technical when it comes to audio and have always fumbled my way
Severe memory leak caused by Auto Reframe in Premiere Pro 2025 (macOS)Hello Adobe team,I'm experiencing a critical memory leak when using Auto Reframe in Premiere Pro 2025 on macOS. The app consumes up to 95 GB of RAM (on a 16 GB system) and never releases memory, eventually freezing the entire system.I generated multiple process samples using Activity Monitor while Auto Reframe was running. All of them consistently show `AutoReframeCore::Tracking::TrackMotion` and `AutoReframeWorker` threads in infinite execution, with no signs of memory management or thread cleanup. This makes the feature unusable and causes system instability even after clean installations.I can provide all logs and sample files if needed.Thank you.
For some reason when im using Dip to Black, like i have done many times before, at the end of a clip or the start (not as a transition between clips) it goes from black ( the time line with no video playing) to transparent before fading into the video as the screen shots below demonstrate. This has never happened before and I don't believe ive changed any preferences either. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could trouble shoot this. As a temporary fix ive used a black colour matt with a cross fade between clips but id much rather the dip to black effect to work normally. Many Thanks,Harvey
Dear all Adobe Developer, Adobe Developer Support I am reaching out to express my interest in developing a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro focused on creating graphic titles. However, I’ve encountered a challenge: there appears to be no specific API or functions provided in the Premiere Pro SDK that directly support the creation or manipulation of graphic titles. Could you please clarify if there are any existing APIs, SDK tools, or workarounds that would enable developers to build plugins for generating or customizing graphic titles within Premiere Pro? If such resources are not currently available, I’d like to suggest adding this functionality to the SDK, as it would greatly benefit developers looking to enhance title creation workflows. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance or any relevant documentation you can provide. Best regards
Hello,I am using Premiere Pro version 25.2.3 (french version) In Lumetri creative Tab I cannot import a LUT via look / parcourir. I get one LUT from the list and cannot access a folder in my computer. See below a screenshot to show where "Parcourir" isIt was working fine in the previous version.RegardsJR
Hi! I hope you're all doing well. I've been experiencing this issue for the last 3 days. I haven't got the time to post in here because I was too busy editing and just had to adapt from the issue this Premiere Pro has until today. So what's been happening is that whenever I'm going to export my video and click the "Location" in the export settings, and then obviously we type in our desired file name to a specific folder and then click save. Going back to PR, it didn't register the changes I made. Instead of being saved as "Video output 1" to "This PC/Users/Videos", it goes "05.20" as the file name and gets saved to a different location. Adobe hasn't released any updates yet or fix to get this, you know, FIXED, because this little issue delays my delivery even just a little bit and I personally don't like that as a working video editor, I want to be on time in turn arounds.
HiWhen I try to export my premiere video it goes like this. Also, a few days ago when this hasn't happened yet, I opened the video I export in quicktime player and it says "This file contains some media which isn’t compatible with QuickTime Player."I've cleared the cache of my chrome but it won't help. I searched online it seems no one had similar issues. Can anyone help me? It's urgent!Thank you.
Upgraded to 25.2. Testing out "generative extend tool." When extend the clip, it won't let me and includes this popup that says "You're country doesn't support this purchase." But i'm in the U.S.....
