Questions

I am relatively new to PP. I have not learned how to use the concepts/tools "project, sequences and bins". I think the tutorials I find explain this too quickly, without going into detail.  When it comes to catalogue structure, I am used to Microsoft Word, and Mac´s Finder. I dont find my way in PP, it is not intuitive to me. Is there a simple AND acurate explanation anywhere, preferably in a video?

Bonjour,  ce matin, mon band de montage a fait des siennes car je n'arrive plus à déplacer des clips (éléments de la séquence) dans la timeline qui reste fixe. J'arrive encore à les ralllonger ou les raccourcir, mais leur emplacement est figé. J'ai essayé de changer de projet, même problème. J'ai essayé d'importer de nouveaux éléments depuis mon chutier, impossible... Je me désespère un peu là...  

I have a project with lots of text/titles that I made in 720p.  Now I need to make a 2160p version.  The audio stays the same, and I've redone the graphics (animation frames) in 2160p, but the titles (cut and pasted from the 720p project) are the wrong size, and when I try to resize them, the move to the wrong places, disappear, etc.  Is there a way make this work without having to recreate all the titles from scratch?

Guten Tag,leider habe ich das Problem, dass ich in Premiere Pro kein Videomaterial in die Timeline ziehen kann zum bearbeiten. Wenn ich die App einmal schließe und neu öffne kann ich einen Clip rüber ziehen, danach nimmt er nur noch die Audio, aber nicht das Video! Wo ist das Problem? Hatte ich vorher noch nie gehabt. Ich hänge einmal ein Video an auf dem man es erkennt. Wie man sehen kann ist es egal was für ein Video ich nehme. Habe es mit Clips von einer Actioncam probiert in Full Hd mit 60 frames und mit den Videos vom Iphone. Beides leider ohne Erfolg. Lg Chris 

Going to try to explain this simply...I have three videos, each with their own audio and their own adjustment layer (for color correction).Between video 1 and 2, I can cross dissolve both video 1 to video 2, and adj layer 1 to adj layer 2, exponential fade from audio 1 to audio 2. Everything is fine. Transitions exactly the way I want.  (In this case, both videos are small cuts of longer footage)Now, between video 2 and video 3, a cross dissolve won't work (figured that out after a moment of being very dumb) because video 3 needs to start right at the beginning... nothing to "cross" dissolve from. So, manual dissolve. Works fine. Expo fade in audio, fine.But, because of how I did the color correcting on adjustment layers, I have to cross dissolve them as well.  Worked last time.... and this is where I'm utterly confused.When I apply a cross dissolve between adjustment layer 2 and 3, for some reason I do not understand, in the transition there is a freeze frame of the middle o

Hi All,I have been trying to sync 2 cameras using clip markers. The Audio on one is not great and that camera also started shooting 15min into a 1hour shoot so none of the other sync options are available.Footnote. novice, learned to use PP watching YouTube. I have to edit and type using my eyes as I have MND/ALS, so stuff takes a bit longer to do.Any help or advice much appreciatedKeith

Why? In the latest 2025 update of Adobe Premiere, the possibility of modifying the graphics templates in the original panel to be placed in the effects control disappears... Is it just me?Furthermore, some extremely convenient functions for editing texts have been removed, such as, above all, the possibility of having all the text in capital letters by pressing a simple key.Does anyone know where they went?Why is Adobe going from bad to worse?

Working with a new project I've come across a problem described in the title - there's a picture from the Internet in my timeline. It's a generic webp (tried a jpeg as well) of 154,29 KB and 2000 x 988 pixels. If I change it's scale and position there is a 1-2 ceconds lag before I actually see the change. On a 14700K, RTX4080 and 64 Gigs Ram.This project differs in now way from any previous one but for Premiere Pro version I'm using now.See the video below.My system is nearly idle when I get this lag.

I’m trying to export a video, but it’s impossible—the software crashes every time. I’m using a Mac mini M4 with 16GB of RAM, and when I export my project, the software ends up using more than 60GB of RAM before crashing. I’ve tried multiple video formats, cleared the cache, and adjusted the rendering settings, but nothing works.

Have an issue with our TV series as several dead pixels have been spotted. I know there is a dead pixel tool in Davinci, Wondering if there are any other methods in Premiere or After Effects? Regards,George T

Everytime I try to open Premiere Pro it just freezes on the loading up screen.I have:- updated the software- uninstalled and reinstalled again- restarted my mac And nothing works. I tried opening it with shift click to delete cache and reset plugin loading cache, but everytime, it just ends up frozen trying to open it. My mac is fully up to date (macOS Sequoia 15.2)I have no idea what to do now and despertely need help!

So recently I've been importing clips from a voice software called eleven labs. If I import under 2 clips, Adobe pro works perfectly, but the second I do over 3 it glitches out.

Sorry but the fact I can't close the Audio Meters panel or even undock it in an effort to close it is frustrating. Yes, I searched the forum and all I see is how this is still a bug after many years. I found a "solution" to hover over the blue line indicating the panel is selected and holding the Ctrl/command key and undocking it but I have tried numerous times with no ability to undock it.For at least a year after an update the hot tect slider for the X and Y positioning is SLOW! Even with a simple text field, moving it into any position has crazy lag. I'm on a MacBook Pro M1 and Premiere is just so slow. Due to a client project I had to use a much much cheaper and popular alternative with so much success, I'm starting to think Premiere is in my rearview mirror after over a decade of use.What's happening Adobe? Adobe Animate being completely ignored for over a year and now Premiere falling so far behind in so many ways for me. Sorry for the rant - just glaring issues from a devot

Has anyone ever had a problem with the latest version of Premiere 1.3.5 on Windows 10 where the mouse pointer suddenly disappear after adjusting the Color wheel of a particular clip in your sequence and the effect control window gets deselected for that particular clip? This is only happening when I load a multicam nested sequence into the Source monitor and adjust the effects control for any clips in the nested sequence. I just need to import pics and videos from my Photos app on my MacBook to adobe premiere pro to edit and make a video. I've tried to drag and drop and it didn't work. I also tried to search the file location through the media browser and once I reached "photos library" I hit a dead end and couldn't open to see the photos.

Since updating top 23.4 ,when I make a transcript now from and active timeline I no longer have the three little dots near the speakers name which allowed me to change the speakers name. Now when I hover over "unknow" as the speaker name a little pop-up apperas that says "to edit speakers name make changes in the source transcript". What does this mean and how do I do it? Why do they make changes that do not need to be made with every update?Darrell

Hi! I've been having frequent issues with media encoder and premiere recently where a WAV file will stop encoding at 1 or 2 seconds remaining. One thing I've read is that it could be caused by a corrupt file in my sequence, but I'm not exactly sure how to address that. Everything plays just fine in premiere! Is there an easy way to find out if there is/where the corrupted file is? Thanks!

Working with a client's MOGRT for the first time and it gives me the font missing badge (yellow capital T in a square with a warning triangle). Dealing with them has reminded me of some inconsistencies with the way I thought I Premiere was supposed to handle missing fonts as well as activation. One of the missing fonts (Interstate) is available on Adobe Fonts. I thought it was supposed to check for that and instantly activate any matching Adobe fonts? It's possible that they used a non-Adobe version here but then how is it searching for a match? Is it not just by name? Because once I added Interstate in Adobe Fonts the warning on the template went away so clearly it was a match, yet it didn't automatically find it on it's own. The other issue (which has been long-standing) is that activating a font or font family in Adobe fonts does NOT add it to Premiere Pro right away. Hello everyone ! I am experiencing an issue in Adobe Premier Pro 24.1 (latest version) where audio waveforms are not appearing in the timeline. This makes precise editing difficult. Here are some details of the issue: The audio plays fine but no waveforms are visible.I tried deleting cache , refreshing waveforms, enabling/disabling waveform display and restarting Premier Pro.My system specs are MacBook Pro M2 Max, macOS Ventura 13.6.Project settings are: Standard sequence, 48 kHz audio, MP4/MOV files. Is this a known bug or is there another fix? Any assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello dear Adobe community,in Premiere pro I want to put a clip on top of a clip very small, however the resolution goes from normal (1080) to very low. So a scale size from 100 to 66 suddenly makes a very low resolution.. anyone have experience with this?(premiere pro 2024)

Hey! Is there any way to automate basic color correction in Adobe Premiere? My videos are about an hour long, and I record them with a LUT already applied, so I only need to adjust the highlights, shadows, blacks, and whites based on Lumetri Scopes. This process is very tedious and repetitive—can it be automated?

Hello, everyone.While happily editing a number of corporate product videos, I stumbled upon an issue importing a .mov file recorded by a Mac laptop desktop recorder. On importing the .mov file, Premiere Pro CC reported that the file could not be imported because it "contains a complex edit list". This has not occurred previously with .mov files recorded on the same laptop.There are other threads here that attempt to provide advice, but predictably devolve into pedantics, pseudophilosophy, pseudo-best practices, judgment, fanboyism, and juvenile vitriol, and anything that might be helpful is buried in pages of — (vulgar phrase removed).
