Everyone in my group knows that I don't have a clue as to how to use Premier.. I dont mind taking on a challenge but my question is what is the fastest and easiest way to learn premiere? I would like to learn the basics First before moving into any advanced area. Thank you so much!

My keyframes bounce when there's space between them, if i make a keyframe for every frame, when i add a keyframe, the one before it changes, and if i change this one the one before it changes and so on. I turned on linear interpolation and still doesn't change anything

Hi guys,I am having a problem exporting a project. On several parts of the video I have two smaller screens showing two different footages. When I am viewing these in the timeline they occasionally flicker between each other, showing the wrong video in the wrong place, but not to a huge degree. However, I just exported the video and when I view the exported video it shows the two videos constantly flickering between each other.Does anyone know how to make the video export as intended? Thank you for your help!

Premiere Pro 25.1 is running so well on my computer that I’ve discovered a fun new hobby: watching my screen freeze for no reason! Editing has never been more thrilling—between the constant lag, random crashes, and rendering times that rival the Ice Age, I’m truly living the dream.Clearly, my perfectly fine system is just too advanced for this masterpiece of software engineering. Is anyone else loving this update as much as I am? Or are we all downloading DaVinci Resolve as we speak? 

Computer Specs: Mac OS 13.0 VenturaApple M1 Max64gb Ram2TB SSD Trying to export 608 captions for a .MXF broadcast delivery but the text keeps getting burned onto the video. Upon export, if I bring the file back into Premiere it shows that the file has embedded captions but is also baked in.  Export Settings:MXF OP1a29.97fpsProgressiveAVC-Intra Class 100 1080CaptionsEmbed in Output File Adobe support struggled through troubleshooting before disconnecting. Any ideas of what's going on? The cache has been cleared, tried creating new projects, wiped premiere pro and reinstalled, etc.

In the Effects window, I created my favorite effects folder. After resetting all program settings, I want to return the folder with my favorite effects. Where are these settings stored? I created a backup with the old settings, but I can’t find this folder there

Tengo una laptop donde realize configuraciones de teclado y ajustes al programa y ahora tengo una pc (ordenador) donde instale adobe y se instalan como nuevos, crei que encontraria los mismos ajustes de mi laptop y no fue asi.  Cuando lo instale en mi pc nunca me pregunto si queria los ajustes anteriores o si queria conservar la configuracion anterior, simplemente se instalo y se abrio como un programa nuevo. Me encionaron en soporte que son ajustes locales, pero no encontre informacion sobre como pasar los ajustes locales a mi nuevo pc.

Hi, when I try to playback my sequence I'm getting a lot of audio cutting out when it gets to a certain multicam clip. The audio of the mutlicam and all other audio in the sequence will cut in and out, also shown in the audio meters. My fix was to try to render the audio but when I select Sequence>Render Audio, the dialog box opens but no progress occurs. It just stays at 0%. Any ideas? In Premiere 22.6.2 working off a Nexis with over 700gb free space. Running Mac OS Catalina 10.15.72018 Mac Mini 3.2 GhZ 6-core Intel Core i764gb 2667 MHz DDR4

I can't add new subtitle tracks A week or two ago it worked fine but suddenly I can't do anything.I tried everything and I don't know what happened or how to fix it.The only way I could do something was to import subtitles from an old project and change the wordsbut this video is longer so I am missing a few minutes of subtitles.   

I am trying to figurue out how to see both the sample SDK_Export plug-in and a copy of it work at the same time in Adoble Media Encoder. For my copy of ExporterSDK, If I change the Target Name of the visual studio project from ExporterSDK to ExporterCustom, then that changes the built .prm and .ilk file name. And if I change SDK_File_Name in SDK_File.h then that changes the menu item name within Media Encoder. But changing both of those still won't allow me to run both ExporterSDK and a copy of it at the same time (ie. both don't show up in the menu inside Media Encoder). I also tried changing SDK_NAME and SDK_CLSS in SDK_File.h in my copy of ExporterSDK as well, but that did not seem to allow me to see both at the same time either.

So basically whenever I use the control + arrow key shortcut which should nudge the shapes according to an arrow key, it doesn't work. I kinda got it to partially work but when I especially tick the position in the transform  thing in effect controls, it just all out stops working completely. Please fix.Steps:1. Create a shape on the timeline2. Go to the transform section of the shape and tick position.3. Try using Control + Arrow Keys to move the shape. Thats literally what I did and it isn't working for me. It should move the shape but it doens't.

I use premiere pro on a HP Workstation G3. Works like a charm. Recently I got a message from Microsoft that my version of Windows 11 (21H2) is no longer supported. Will Premiere Pro keep working with this unsupported version?I am looking for a laptop with a newer version of windows 11. But at the moment I'm in the midst of a large project and I would like it very much if I can finish my recent project on my old computer.Kind regards, Gert-Jan Remmers 

Hello everyone, I am an architecture and 3d visualizer. I created an animation from a model I am working on.I want to mix this animation, which I created in 3D software, with real footage captured by drone from the real neighbor. I am not sure if this is even possible in Adobe Premier Pro.I am using Premiere Pro for merging videos and setting transitions only, so technically I am noobie noobie on the software.    well unfortunately I do not have permission to upload videos but as you can see in the upper images,the first one is a screenshot of my 3d animation and the next one is a drone video from the neighbor. I want to swap red-noted parts in a way that my final video shows the balcony from 3d animation and the background from the drone footage (instead of white cubes)Note that both files are moving shots and not a fixed camera. If this kind of task is possible in Adobe Premiere. Or even in AE. Thank you in advance!Nima

Dear friends,I have to solve a slightly nontrivial task. My plugin creates a png sequence which needs to be imported back into main video.To import png-sequence I  need to add CEP panel. Question 1.Is it possible to launch CEP panel by programming a button in the custom UI of my plugin?(The plugin has its own custom UI writtten in winapi to make the usage user-friendly) Question 2.If 1 is not possible, is it possible to start my plugin from CEP panel by clicking a button on a panel? Question 3.Suppose 1  and 2 are not possible (my nightmare).I managed to implement the principal functionality of my plugin (creation of  png sequence) as a standalone exe. Since it is standalone one can't include information about the key frames and so on (arising form the workflow in Ppro).Is it  possible to read out the position of a main time slider (and keyframes ) of Premiere Pro with some windows commands?  If yes, I'll just add the synchronized timeslider

Hi!Is it possible from Premiere Pro to export to IMF?

I'm struggling to resolve preview render latency issues in Premiere Pro and can't seem to find a working solution. The CPU isn't being used at all, and the GPU decoding usage is inconsistent. I'm working with a small 10-second clip at 1920x1080, 120 fps, 8-bit, 4:2:0. Despite updating all my drivers and using the NVIDIA Studio Driver, the problem persists. The preview playback randomly fluctuates between 5–120 fps, but it mostly stays around 5–30 fps. This happens even with the playback resolution set to 1/4 and without any effects applied.What I've Tried So Far:Clearing the cacheReinstalling and updating driversCreating proxiesResetting preferencesSwitching to After Effects (same issue there)System Configuration:Processor: Ryzen 7RAM: 16 GBGPU: RTX 4060 Laptop

I just downloaded the update. And now I can't use exponential fade in my audio anymore. at the end or beginning, but overlapping is no longer necessary. anyone have any tips?

Hi, I am trying to make the video style shown in the attached example. I know how to do this in Alight Motion but not in Premiere Pro. I will explain the steps I use in Alight Motion so you can understand what I am trying to do.I put the clip on Track 1 and the template on Track 2.Then I use the Chroma Key (Ultra Key in Premiere Pro) and use the black dropper to select the black area. This makes the clip show in the black parts.After this, in Alight Motion, there is a "Blending" option where I select "Mask" and then "Exclude Mask." This makes the white area transparent and automatically creates the edge mask. So, I get the clip styled with edges, and the white parts are transparent.At the end, I nest this and place the same clip in the background.How can I do the same in Premiere Pro?

It seems track targeting is not working in 24.1.0? Steps to recreate:1. Copy clip from one sequence2. In second sequence, ensure the track you want to paste to is the only one with track targeting activated.3. Ctrl + V to paste copied clip to this second sequence4. Clip is pasted to the corresponding track it CAME FROM, not the targeted track in destination sequence. For example, I want to paste to Track 3. If I copy a clip from Track 1 in the source sequence, it will paste to Track 1 in the destination sequence, irregardless of whether Track 3 is the only one with Track Targeting active in the destination sequence. If I move the source clip up to Track 3 in the source sequence, THEN copy, it will land on Track 3 in the destination sequence, even if Track 1 is the only track with Track Targeting active. So it seems track targeting is not working, and tracks are being pasted based on their relative track in the source sequence. I am working in 24.1.0 on a PC running Windo

When I use transition on the clips that have Warp Stablizer, Export fails

Recently in a very large project I'm working on when I loaded premiere the fonts didn't sync evidenced by the notification when I opened the project.Now when I open the project the fonts are syncing but some of the titles are showing the incorrect font. I guess this is because I rendered the preview maybe? It's driving me nuts and I damn sure don't want to go through and recreate all the title because of this expensive Adobe buggy crap Sometimes the font is incorrect in part of the graphic and correct in the other part, like if there's a transition the font is incorrect in the transition. So, is there a way to force the font to be correct or force the project to re-render or some other resolve? In this image for example Magistral is selected but in the preview it's a totally different font:If I change the clip in some way like the duration of the cross dissolve transition the correct font shows. But, this will only resolve the font where the change is made, not the entire graphic. And

Hello All, I haven't found a similar issue here yet, it seems most have a black or empty Program Monitor. In my case, the clip appears in Program Monitor and I can grab the slider and move it around and the video moves accordingly but nothing happens when I press the play button. It changes from the triangle to the square and back again but nothing happens. I've tried various previous projects, new projects, etc. and just updated Premiere Pro. There doesn't appear to be any system conflict issues via "Help|System Compatibility Report" and Premiere Pro has worked on this computer before. The problem seemed to appear in more recent updates but if I go back to the oldest version 2018, the Program Monitor still doesn't advance. Not sure what in the system might affect this but the computer is a Dell XPS 8910 w/ processor Intel i7-6700, 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti. Any help appreciated, thanks!

I've got a two part question below. I love the Find/Replace tool for updating clip names within your Project.  Is there a way to apply this idea to other columns within the Project?  For example, the Camera Label column in my project is blank and is not accessible via the MetaData window, so I cannot batch rename a bunch of clips for this column via the MetaData window.  Is this something Automation Blocks would be able to do as a script? 2. When I get a bunch of clips, I like to duplicate the original Clip Name before I make any changes.  Is there a script that can quickly duplicate all the Clip Names into another column within the project?
