I own and run a Dell Inspiron 15 3510 that incorporates an Intel ® UHD Graphics 605 card. I even upgraded the RAM in the system from 16GB to 32GB. Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 was the latest version of Premiere Pro that was compatible with my system because Version 2025 is not. Adding to matters, Premier Rush was retired and was totally useless to me because it was too scaled back. I need a version of Premier Pro that’s compatible with my system since Version 2023 was also retired. In addition, the latest versions of After Effects 2025 and InDesign 2025 are also incompatible with my system. What do I do for an alternatice if Premiere 2025 isn't compatible with my system and Premiere Rush has been retired, though useless? 

Hi, I have a very peculiar scenario. I recorded a play for friend - 3840 x 2160. Most of the action happens in the center stage while some scenes are extended beyond the center stage . Please refer to the attached pic. The Yellow dotted line shows the area (793 x 321) where most of the action happens - almost 2hours.The red dotted lines shows the area (1339 x 321) which happens for around 10 to 12 times, each of 2-3 minutes duration. This is a one single video. Requesting help and guidance to process this in a way that when there is no action on the sides and only happening in the center stage, it should be in 793 x 321. When the action happens in the balcony area - it should strech to 1339 wide.I have already done color and sharpness correction.This is the first time I'm editing a video, hence it would be great if you can provide step by step guidance. I cannot figure this problem out and it is driving me nuts, I generally cannot believe how many problems I have with adobes software and I waste so much time trying to fix it but i CANNOT find a solution for this. I'm on a Macbook air M4, ios 26, using premiere pro 25.5. trying to use guasian blur mask tool with the tracking and i get this error every single time. I'm using bog standard 4k gopro footage and it has never done this before but for some reason it wants to now throw this error at me constantly. I have cleared my cache, reset my laptop, moved the file to a different location, renamed the file, tried nesting, tried an older version, tried reupdating, tried reinstalling, tried speeding the clip up and then reverting it to its normal pace, checked about variable frame rate and there isn't any. I cannot think of anything else, any input will be appreciated.

I started a new project in Premiere and the video was really laggy even after I changed the playback resolution to 1/8 and disable high quality playback. So I tried making a proxy file but the video is still lagging even after I enable it. The first video was a 2h long gameplay video, recorded with Nvidia Shadowplay at 130k bitrate. The video turend out at a variable refresrate so I had to convert it to a mkv in handbrake. Video still at 130K bitrate. For some reason Premiere would not open the file, so I had to convert it again with OBS Remux to a mp4. Now Premiere would open the file but it was very laggy so I made a proxy file of it, and even on the playback lowest setting it was still lagging. I tried to insert just the proxy file directly into Premiere and then it worked perfectly.I did the exact same thing with 2 files, only difference one being 2 minutes and one 2 hours and the same result. The first file specs are 100Gb sizes, 4K, 130,000kbit/s. 2

I have around 60 hours of video shot in S-VHS adhering to the PAL standard definition 576i 4:3 format. I’d like to edit the footage and have the finished output scaled up and cropped to 16:9 1080i.  Having reviewed the footage, there are parts which would benefit from use of the warp stabilizer effect. What is the best workflow to achieve the end result?  There appears to be so many different methods to getting to the finished product, I just don’t know which is the best approach. Regards, Steve

Hi everyone, I'll try and explain my issue the best I can! So I'm working on a project with clips from a Sony FX6, FX3, A7Riii and GoPro. Everything was fine, then all of a sudden the FX3 clips started playing fast but the audi remained in real time. The clips were shot at 100fps and my timeline is at 25fps. I tried to interpret the footage and selected 'Assume this frame rate' and set it to 25pfs, which corrected the video clip back to the correct playback but then the audio was slowed down. Any help would be greatyl appreciated! Many thanks.

Hi,For my film, Im trying to scale down a clip (HD 1910x1080) as I will use this inside an image as screen replacement (image size is also 1910x1080). The clip is of high quality, crisp and clear, but once scaling it, it becomes blurry with lost details. What do I do wrong? Another issue here: When I use the "Corner Pin" functionality, to make the clip fit into the image (the screen), also details in the clip are distorted (text and shapes). Is there another way of doing this (scaling and inserting a clip into an image), without losing all quality? Should I use After Effects instead (although I have no knowledge at all about After Effects)? Pls help and thanks in advance! 

The current automatic speech recognition in Adobe Premiere Pro is very poor in accuracy, even for English audio. The transcripts often contain too many mistakes, making them unusable for professional work. I strongly suggest that Adobe improve the speech-to-text engine, either for English or Chinese, to reach a level comparable to other modern transcription tools. 

I would love to hear where people are saving their project files. For a number of years I always had my Premiere (and After Effects) project files and their auto-saves going to a folder on my Creative Cloud. This enabled me to always only have one version of the project that I knew was the latest and greatest that I could access from the office on my desktop system and/or on my MacBook Pro when I needed to WFH, or anywhere else. Then Creative Cloud decided to stop functioning in the traditional cloud way where it is constantly syncing files from devices to the cloud and back. Now I use iCloud in the same way. Before we started doing this there were always multiple versions of any given project floating around depending on what hard drive it was saved to and who the editor was. Plus, there was always the risk of losing the drive and therefore, the project file. With the cloud system I call up an old project and it tells me which drives it’s looking for to link to the media instead of me

25.5.0 b13 Tabs within subwindows are in several cases are not restored across quit & restart. E.g., the timeline window does not reopen the timelines I had in there. And the order of tabs changes, even if reopened. E.g., I always want the Project tab first in the window I have with Effects, Effect Controls, and others. Could y'all please take a look at what goes into the .prpoj file and how it's restored on start-up? Many thanks. I want to make the most of my HDR workflow and want some guidance on choosing the right color space for my projects.  My hdr workflow is Sony ZV-E1 using XAVC HS 4K @ 100M 4:2:2 10bit color -> PP 2025.  editing on a win11 workstation with HDR turned on (in windows and on the monitor).  I'm primarly editing for mobile/youtube.  I am curious because my shots often aim at soft afternoon lighting, like the shot below. Being able to provide as much dynamic range as possible makes this effect better.  Would HDR 300 make those sunlights pop brighter on an hdr-capable mobile device?  Would HDR 300 give me more dynamic range? Is there a downside to selecting HDR 300 in the color settings for a project?  

The beta version of Premiere Pro is still using a model from 2022.    Location: C:/ProgramFiles/Adobe/AdobePremierePro(Beta)/MLModels/model_metadata.json modelversion: "20221010" filename: eolnet_autocaptioning_en_dial_conv_joint_fp16_2   It has become so bad I can't use it anymore.  Is there a way to upgrade on our own? 

Dear community, i have been using and paying Adobe since 2009 and I would Love if one day i am contacted by Adobe and ask me what I think about their upcoming updates!! Why recently I can not use Hardware encoding when i choose VBR 2 pass in any codecs! That is totaly NOT LOGIC at all ? Why you changed it ? why it's not possible anymore. ? DO i have to go back to old version ? I have MacBook pro M1 Max Tahoe 26.0  Thank you. 

App version-25.5.0Platform-WindowsOk so recently i got new SSD 2TB one so I thought I will install Pr in my external 2TB SSD it might work well but something else happened so basically I have Pr Beta too which is installed on Internal SSD. While editing i start noticing app is opening so slow like 30 sec and Pr Beta which is on Internal SSD that app opens in 2 sec and in 1 click Later I fixed that by installing main Pr in my Internal SSD so I wanna know -Is this a bug ?Because I have other app install on SSD they work well so I thought Pr will work fine too If its speed related thing (External SSD vs Internal SSD).Please let me know I just wanna know cause why this happening because people install games in External SSD they work fine so what thing is causing issue Extra InfoPr is install in External SSD and Project file too are there in same SSDAfter Opening I didn't face any crash or sudden freeze

When I export media, my default source range was always "sequence in/out" but for some reason it is now "work area." Of course I can change it before exporting but I often forget and export my whole timeline when I don't want to and then have to waste time re-exporting. How do I make it so the default is "sequence in/out" again?Thanks.

ive recently noticed when using the dynamics limiter or hard limiter it doesnt do anything anymore. it worked a couple weeks ago but now doesnt. I usually have my voice limited to-9.40, but it still goes way past -3 and peaks. i have made sure the limiter is enabled. Ive released 2 projects with this setting not working before i noticed which is frustrating. i started using the dynamics limiter as the hard limiter option stopped working for me many years ago.  has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? 

When importing a batch of ProRes Raw files, is there a way to change the default color space to S-Log3 instead of BT.709? So far, the only way that I've found to fix it is to manually change each clip individually.     [Moderator note: title edited for clarity as RAW format color management is different from most non-RAW CM in Premiere Pro.]

I'll explain my specific case, but I think the concept could be generallized.. so looking for generalizable approaches to this problem. I have two video clips from two camera angles overlapping (full screen).. so you can only see one at a time.I want to automatically switch between them on a given duration... e.g., depending on the tempo of a song, duration of section, etc.For example, I could manually modify the opacity of the 'top' clip to 0% to let the lower show through, then re-set to 100% every so often.. but doing this precisely, and accurately, would be a time consuming task.Happy to consider scriptiong or other means to make this happen.. just not familiar w/ what is possible in premiere at this point. Thanks!

Is there a shortcut setting for show clip keyframe > Time remapping > Speed ​​?Is there a way to remove Time Remapping keyframes like removing clip speed/duration with Ripple Edit (cmd+R) ?Because what I'm currently doing is taking a match frame clip (F) and then inserting it back into the timeline without speed/time remapping. But I have to do it one by one for all the clips.If I use Remove Attributes with Time Remapping, but this cannot use ripple edit like remove with clip speed/duration (cmd+R)

Hello,I'm a motion designer and I'm having trouble exporting to DVX3. I installed the codec, but it only appears in After Effect. I need to use Media Encoder and Premiere. I'm using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) and Adobe (2020).Can someone help me?Thanks

This is a little bit of both a bug report and discussion, but I put it under bug report because that's the closest it's going to get about this topic.The known issue of NVIDIA and Premiere Pro not working together and crashing has been causing me more issues than just crashing. I first ran into error code 39, then it started giving me other errors that I don't exactly remember what they said, though it exported 1 video 3 times when I clicked export once, and all of the videos were corrupt files. I also ran into this problem last night while trying to export the same video, waiting around 10 minutes for the 100% to go away and give me the notification that it had been exported, but I got tired of waiting, tried canceling, and Premiere crashed.Does anyone have any possible solutions to this?

I have a project that I am working on that has proxies attached. It was originally on another machine and now I am working on a new machine. However, every time I open the project, It looks for the proxy files in the old location and opens the 'located media' windows. Even though when I save the project and then closed it I had relinked everything to the new location. This doesn't seem to happen with every project though, so not sure if it is totally reproducible as a problem.

I've been useing AE wrong, well, more so the files that the app.and now i cant seem to figeurs out tje decodder, im trying to get my MP4 clips to a AE friendly fotmat. how can i do that via the decoder?maybe a even crazier qestion, how do u put it englis (the decoder is in dutch)?
