I noticed that they captions default to the straight quotes and apostrophes in the captions."This isn't right."“That’s better.”

I have 2351 images from a Canon R52 which are 8192 x 5464.  I created a new project and imported the frames so they each will consume one frame.  I then grabbed the images and dragged them to the timeline.  A sequence is created (I'll call the original sequence).I went to eventually render out videos with standard dimensions such as 4K at 3840 x 2160 which will obviously need a crop so I want to be able to tell Premiere Pro how I want the crop done.What I did was select all of the images in the timeline, right click, and select nest.  Then I modified the sequence's attributes.  Then I scaled the nest so it fills the frame.My question is, is this the best way to accomplish my goal?I realize that I could render out the original sequence, import it back in, and then put it into its own sequence but I'm assuming doing the two renders is less than optimal.

Wir arbeiten remote zu zweit an einem Premiere Projekt über das Team Projects Feature. Soweit funktioniert das ganze auch, nur bei erstellten Animationsvorlagen werden geänderte Inhalte nicht synchronisiert. Die Animationsvorlagen wuden in After Effects erstellt und über die Adobe Library importiert. Beispielsweise handelt es sich hierbei um Bauchbinden... Wenn Person A den Text in der Bauchbinde anpasst, wird das leider bei Person B nicht synchronisiert. Meine Vermutung ist, dass die geänderten Animationsvorlagen lokal auf dem Rechner abgespeichert werden. Gibt es hier eine Voreinstellung die ich übersehe?

Do you take money for such a terrible design? In different versions I see this, I reset the workspace settings.  It doesn't work. What should I do? I need normal work and not chaos on the desktop

Hiya Everyone, I’m been having issues with Frame.io, uploading timeline content, (uploading and dragging) video files via Premiere Pro Frame-io window or via a Frame project folder in a browser window. I get the video to show it is uploading to 98% to 100% but it never finishes!I’m on Windows 10, running the latest version of Premiere Pro. I’m behind a firewall. I’m on Enterprise version of Creative Cloud and have the free version of Frame-io.I have cleared the PPro’s cache, increased PPro RAM allocation (28gb RAm for PPro and 3gb for other apps), and made sure there is enough scratch disk space. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 🤓

hola ayuda, la linea de tiempo al reproducir un video cualquiera se mueve a velocidad x2; porque???   restaure espacios de trabajos y nada, formatie el pc y sigue el problema, todo video que arrastro a la linea de tiempo me va a alta velocidad.

I have all the project files and the footages stored in an external hard disk. Created the project and start edit on MacOS. But when connect the same external hard disk to another computer (Windows OS), I have to re-link the clips one by one. It used to be able to relink all the footages automatically. I am sure that I have ticked the "Relink others automatically". I have tried to make all videos offline and relink them back once I have opened the project file, but unfortunately, i still have to relink the footages one by one. Is there any solution to this? I have like hundreds of footages to relink, i don't want to spend so much time to do it manually.  

I am editing a video of someone talking using Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. There is a video and audio in the timeline sequence. After I choose "enhance audio", the speaker's word "excellence" does not sound correct. The sound ence is lost. How can I correct this?   [Title edited by mod]

Hello, for which requires subtitling in muliple languages (including Russian and Chinese), I am having issues with the Arabic subtitles when it comes to punctuation.When the subtitle is over two lines, it is impossible to get the full stops or commas at the end of the second line. They always appear on the top line, despite everything being correct in Text panel (see screenshot). Unfortunately, making sure everything goes on one line only is not a solution, as I need to export also in square and vertical formats. The format is "Subtitle", and it is already using the South Asian and Middle Easter Text engine.Any help will be greatly appreciate as it is becoming difficult to work with this. 

Is there anyway when opening up a marker properties to jump to change the duration without physically clicking on it?

25Windows 11Basic steps to reproduce the problem When exporting timelines with R3D files from either Premiere Pro or Media Encoder (in any version of Premiere Pro 25) to h.264 encodes, the export will stall indefinitely. Attempting to cancel the export will crash either program completely. Attempting to render timelines will break the codec completely, turning all video previews in any window black, only returning on restarting the program. Uninstalling plugins, resetting caches etc does nothing. The problem specifically lies somewhere between reading the data of a R3D file while exporting to h.264. I saw known bugs marked "solved" relating to the RED creative LUT program, but I am not using that. The only current workaround is exporting the timeline to ProRes and then reencoding from the ProRes file. Attempting to render a timeline which has an intermediate of ProRes fails in the same way described above. Infrequently an error message is displayed. I've attached it

I just experienced a serious issue with Premiere Pro 2025. After a crash, all of my saved project files and auto-save backups disappeared completely.Everything was saved locally on my internal drive — both the main prproj files and the auto-saves — and after the crash, they are just gone. I didn’t change any preferences or storage locations; Premiere was using its default save paths. This happened right after the app crashed (no power loss, no manual deletion).This is a huge issue — it wiped out multiple days of work. I need help synchronizing Raw footage with .wav files from an external audio source. I can't seem to select the synchronize tool as it's grayed out. is there really no way other than individually? ive seen that i can't do it with multiple audios on the same track. how can i quickly put everything on their own track if necessary? i'm on a one day time crunch if anyone can please help me. i have looked at youtube and forums and help sites. i cant find a fix that wont take a century to do.

This issue was present in version 2024 and has reappeared in the update. Why are you carrying over bugs into updates?

Helo Everyone,My Adobe Premiere crashed, taking with it three months of saved work — auto saves included. I can’t find any recent files. I was working on a short film, but everything for the past 3 months dissapared. I had to locate all the media in the project to find out that sequence dated back to July.I’m using the 2024 updated version of Premiere on Mac.Maybe someone can recommend a way to restore it, or explaine what did happend yesterday when Adobe was updating smth?Thank you

Ich arbeite auf dem Mac und habe Clips direkt aus der Foto-App importiert. Nach erneutem Öffnen findet Premiere die Clips nicht mehr. Habe jetzt die Clips (ca. 150 Stk) in einen neuen Ordner kopiert. Leider muss man bei der Zuweisung jetzt tatsächlich für jeden Clip einzeln auswählen, was bei der genannten Anzahl an Clips sehr zeitaufwendig und nervig ist. Prizipiell müsste es doch reichen, den Speicherort zuzuweisen, doch das geht wie gesagt nicht. Andere automatisch neu verknüpfen ist angeklickt, nutzt aber wie gesagt auch nichts. Wer kann helfen?

Let's say I have a clip already on the timeline, and I already have it transcribes, but have not created captions for the clips. Right now, I am just searching for keywords in the transcript and cutting out key points from each clip of interviews. Let's say I open a clip in the Source preview and I want to mark an IN/OUT based on reviewing the text in the Transcript. I click a word I want to set my IN point on and read down until I find the word I want to mark my OUT point on. When I click a word, both my IN/OUT markers get removed, which I feel is fairly inconvenient if I am segmenting clips by going off of the transcript. This feels a bit counterintuitive to me, as if I'm trying to segment clips quickly, this would be a fast way to go about doing so.Let me know if you need more detail from me or if you cannot reproduce. This also inspired a feature request, which I will link.

version mac PPRO 25.5.0 build 13   I'm building some scripts that want to add or remove tracks from the timeline to add or clean up extra files.However, I can't seem to find any CEP PPRO equivalents for "add/remove tracks," only clip-specific interfaces.So, is there a function or method to add or remove tracks?   Thanks!
