I have an editor working on sequences which includes three or four clips of an interview in sequential order. We have been using the Transcript in Premiere Pro, but after the first clip in the sequence the timecode is off in the remainder of the Transcipt because it's running off of sequence timecode, not clip timecode and sometimes there is 2 - 5 minute production breaks in between the clips.I was thinking I could just do the individual clips then export each out, combine them, and then export them back in, but there is no outside text program I have found that saves a .prtranscript file type that I could import into the Premiere sequence. I can import an .srt file, but than I would have to put it in the sequence defeating the usefulness of the Transcript tab for finding dialogue within the sequence - and we don't want a captions clip sitting in the timeline.Is there anyway to specify the Transcript is created with clip timecode instead of sequence timecode? Hi,I've been trying to apply the drop shadow effect onto a piece of text but it's just not showing up on the project screen. However when I scroll on the parameters of the drop shadow effect, I can see the drop shadow "preview" but as soon as I let go of scrolling it disappears... I'm working on the latest version of Premiere Pro on Windows 10. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Why does the column sort order change in the project panel when opening new bin views or changing the schema. I have read the "save a workspace" stuff. That is not reliable nor useful..Additionally when opening different schemas I need the column order I set for that metadata display to repeat exactly as I had originally ordered it. No matter the workspace, the number of bins, etc.It is a complete waste of time to have to re-sort every time I change a schema.This is a very logical (almost inherent in the whole concept of schemas)Thoughts?

I have an adjustment layer that I want to change the motion parameters of it through automation blocks.  I want the position stay the same (640, 360) but have a keyframe at the beginning, scale set to 25 and have keyframe at the beginning as well.  Also is there a way to "uncheck" uniform scale?  Attached is an example from my user library that I want to add these keyframed motion parameters to, as well as what I am looking to for in the effects controls. thanks  

I've been trying to export this video for the past week and a half now and I just can't seem to be able to because I keep getting this message. It always pops up around 70%-80% export completion. It's a roughly 20-25min video and I've never had problems exporting videos of that length. I'm currently exporting a 5min video just to see if it's an issue with those files or not. I've tried everything I can think of. I made space on my MacBook Air, I have 119.86GB of space avalaible. On my Seagate Ultra Touch I have 765GB of space. I reset my preferences in Premier Pro. Not sure what else to do besides maybe re-edit this video from scratch. Also, when I'm exporting Premier takes up around 46GB of memory when I check my activity monitor. Is that a normal amount or is that too high? As I'm typing this the 5min test video is only taking up 3.85 GB, granted I know shorter video means shorter memory but still.Anyways, does anyone have any solutions for this problem I'm experiencing? I apologize if this has been talked about somewhere else in the community, I've searched around and can't seem to find an answer for me.    I'm using Premiere Pro 2025 and I keep getting an error whenever I try to render my clips in a sequence. The error goes as followed:   Video Preview Error Error compiling movie. Export Error Exporter returned bad result.   Writing with exporter: QuickTime Writing to file: it's a file.  Around timecode: 00:00:00:00 Component: QuickTime of type Exporter Selector: 17 Error code: 10   I wrote that all out in case some other poor soul does the same thing as me and writes out the selector and error code into Google.    I have reset my app preferences, cleared my cache, moved my clips around, restarted and started againg the app, I have gone to my sequence settings and tinkered with things there as others have advised elsewhere and nothing works.    I can export the file just fine but what is so

I attached a video where it displays the issue but basically steps to reproduce for me are:1. select a random position in timeline2. hit play3. preview speeds up for few seconds4. back to normal this issue is worse when adding effects or transitions, what I've tried:1. reinstalling premiere2. reinstalling and updating nvidia drivers3. updating windows4. checking the bios and the PC for any issues on performance5. various settings found on internet or forums to help with the issue (none of that worked)6. tried different clips7. disabled internal gpu8. jkl does not work, it's not clip related I have Acer Nitro 16 with rtx 4070 gpu 32gb ram and ryzen 7 7840hs, I don't know anymore what to do, any other video editor works flawlessly 

Hi everyone, I'm coding a custom panel for Premiere Pro in ExtendScript. I'm referring to the PProPanel example project render function as a starting point:https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/Samples/blob/5490c33ac8355ba394c693deb10414553b0a5685/PProPanel/jsx/PPRO/Premiere.jsx#L712   However, I can't seem to find a way to send the job to AME queue without having it to start the queue elaboration immediately. What I want to achieve is something similar to the behaviour of the default Premiere export sceen, where you click on "Send to Media Encoder" and it just queue up the job without starting the elaboration right after: in my panel I will send multiple segments from the timeline to the queue, and I will start the elaboration manually in AME at the end.

I just downloaded Creative cloud exe file but I can't open it up. It keeps pops up error message: "Microsoft Edge can't read and write to its data directory: C:\Users\...\temp\...\EBWebView" I tried to reset setting for Microsoft Edge but still not working. Is there anyone had this problem before?

I have 6 hours of raw footage from interviews for 2 documentaries films.I want to edit the footage through the transcription window, an option that is supported by automatic transcription in English- it's much faster in this way. Since Adobe didn't bother * to support Hebrew auto transcript, I had to buy a third-party plugin that makes subtitles. I exported the subtitle file in SRT format but to my suprise the Primiere transcript can't imported it (even though it has a time code).There's also no option to create the transcript manually. In addition, Adobe only supports importing .prtranscript formt files - a format it invented but didn't share with public, thus preventing the possibility of converting subtitles into transcription. Does anyone have an idea how to overcome this issue?-and as a side note:* Why there is no ability to transcribe in Hebrew?We are 10 million people, biased towards high-tech, art  and creativity. Hi all,So I started editing an interview for a client and their feedback was to remove frequent filler words (ah, uhm); it would be okay to keep some in if it feels natural. I used transcription filter to remove all the filler words and it made cuts across my timeline. I went on to do some more audio and picture editing and realized that I would like to keep some of them in.The problem is that no matter the number of times I 'Undo' it won't take me back to that stage of process. Plus, I dont wan't to erase the progress I have made so far.Question: Is there a way to just 'Undo' the removal of filler words. Can I bring them back in?

Hello! I just updated my premiere to 25.4 and my Nvidia studio drivers to the latest version but I can't seem to be able to use my GPUI mainly use my desktop but I'm preparing my laptop to work on a little trip and even though software rendering is allegedly removed since 25.2. It is still the only option available to me, I already tried swapping between studio and game ready drivers, several resets and I can't seem to make it work.I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H. GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti AND 32gb of RAM. Windows 11Here's some pictures showing the version and the rendered option greyed out. Any help is appreciated

I just updated my premiere pro to the 2025 version and I cant find where I do speed ramping. In the earlier versions there was a tiny fx button on the clip where you could acces time remapping, but now its not there and I cant find this path Show Clip Keyframes > Time Remapping > Speed when I right click either :((Does anyone help with this issue?

I recieved a video of someone singing, an .mp4, that I need to edit into a larger composition. When I play it on my desktop through Quicktime, it sounds great. The second I open it in Premiere or Audition, the audio clips terribly. I have tried all sorts do de-clipping and FFT effects, nothing seems to be fixing it to sound as good as it sounds when it plays in Quicktime. Anyone know what's going on? 

My Premier Pro just upgraded last week and this is the first video I've exported so far. I shot all my iphone videos in mp4 and the drone vids are mostly MOV. When first using them in the timeline they were fine and as the video got longer they started to skip and not playback well even in 1/4 resolution and were just freeze framed (they still are if I try and playback inside the timeline) and I just figured it was too much for the CPU so I kept going. After rendering the video and exporting it, those drone shots are just freeze framed like they played back in the timeline and not moving in the export. roughly 10% of the drone videos did export even though they're also MOV files. Super frustrating, and not sure how to fix this issue! Using Premier Pro 2025

I recently got back into using Premiere Pro after spending some time editing in the free version of CapCut. I definitely prefer editing in Premiere Pro, but I’m running into an issue: when working in a 9:16 format on my MacBook, the video preview feels way too small to see clearly.At work, I usually edit on a larger screen and then it feels fine, but on a laptop it’s uncomfortable. I’ve tried rearranging the video preview panel in different parts of the workspace, but that just makes other panels (like the timeline) too cramped.I took a screenshot of CapCut’s layout to show how the video preview stays large even when other panels are big. I marked up my Premiere workspace to easily reference what I’m talking about. Is there a way to shrink the red-outlined area I drew to free up more space for the video preview?

I do not use these fonts in the project, why do I constantly need this table? Well, I spent time and downloaded these fonts. ? And again this table. Why do you hate users ???????????????? I will not resset the settings every minute, delete Windows, change the keyboard and update the drivers. It's stupid. Do not advise me these nonsense

HELP!!  I HAVE A DEADLINE!!!  When playing back video on my timeline, I am getting horizontal, wavy lines but ONLY when the camera shots pan, not when there is a stationary camera shot.  The original video is fine.  The captured video is fine when played from in the project panel.  I only have the probelm once I bring it to the timeline.  Support suggested I change the render setting to "software only," but that has not helped.  I have also tried creating a new sequence.  No change.  ANY answers?????
