Hello everybody,It's my second post today, but it's the last one 🙂 I'm using RH 2020.8.34 and working on the frameless output, Oceanic skin. My content has different alignments, let's say I have something like on the screen below. I insert an image that refers to last three bullets (second bulleted1 and two bulleted2). To make it visually nice, I align the inserted image to the bulleted1 style alignment (let's say, 16px to the right, the red line below). For the regular images I created a separate image style with the needed indentation, and everything is ok. But sometimes I insert huge images to show more content, so I need to use thumbnails to keep the visual consistency in my output. When I create a thumbnail, I'd like to indent it as well to the bulleted1 style. I created other style just for thumbnails and I tried to indent it manually in the Source view. Is it possible to indent thumbnails? If yes, how?

Hello everybody!I'm using RH 2020.8.34 and working on the frameless output, Oceanic skin. I have this search button on my topic page:And when I click it, the button disappears and the search field appears:I'd like to have the search field visible all the time and remove the button so I don't need to click the button to start looking for something. Is is possible to do it in the Oceanic frameless? If yes, how? Thank you!

I’m currently using Robohelp Classic 2019.  We are trying to avoid users getting multiple hits on search keywords, when they may only need to be looking at information as it pertains to one of the child projects and future plans of expanding to several other child projects. Is there a way to configure it, where it will isolate the search functionality to search in only a specific child project. Is it possible to do this without having to use the merge functionality? Thank you in advance.

We currently have PCs on our team and collaboratively use RoboHelp with the SharePoint connection. If we were to move to Macs, would continuing with the same projects in RoboHelp be as simple as installing the OS version of RoboHelp and reconnecting/downloading the SharePoint connection? Or are there other considerations when transitiong from PC to Mac with RoboHelp? Thank you in advance! 

We have SaaS programs where the external customer logs in through Okta to access the programs. Currently the RoboHelp-generated help files are embedded in the program, but we want to remove them and have the Help link go to our RoboHelp server (really could be any server) and pull our help file but change the URL that the customer sees and basically display it in the browser through our program. I know we can set up a service to do this and possibly use Okta, but we are looking for options and might do a quick and dirty way of using a helpclass embedded in the program to pull the help and rename the URL... Does anyone know of a helpclass already out there? What are my other options? I barely know what I'm talking about but I could point my IT people in the right direction if I knew what that was. LOL... The Okta integration that the RoboHelp server has isn't really for this either. We've been down that path. Thanks for any help.  

In RoboHelp 2020 (and in 2022), when I generate a Responsive HTML 5 ouptut with the Azure Blue skin, the logo is appearing very small in the generated output. In the preview it looks fine:     But in the output it looks like this: Is anyone familiar with this issue? Thanks.

I found several examples of URL strings with content filters on the web but none work. Could be my issue. Here is the set up.My developer wants a frameless help that allows for CSH calls for three audiences. (user, operations, support)I created a map file, conditional expressions, and dynamic content filter. (shown below)When I view the output I can select the filter and the content adjusts appropriatly.I can use a CSH to a mapid without specifying a content filter and all content shows (no filter).file:///C:/ECAR/RH-Build/Filing/index.htm?rhmapno=5If I try to apply a filter parameter like this one, it is ignored and all content shows. file:///C:/ECAR/RH-Build/Filing/index.htm?rhmapno=5&filter=Others:Operations  I'm hoping it is just a URL format issue. I have an Online Manual with links to over 90 PDFs. The PDF files are stored in an Azure Blob site. Is there a way to access, and edit all of the Remote URLs without editing the Hyperlink properties for each individual link?

HelloI would appreciate help regarding an issue I am facing with RoboHelp. Here are some details:The version used: 2022.0.346Aim: To convert a user guide created in MS Word to a project in RoboHelp. We need separate topics created in the RH project for each heading and subheading of the Word file.Details of Word File:1) The word file has an auto-created TOC and follows the Style guide.2) It has sub-heading up to level 3 Issue Faced:1) On importing a word file, all the topics created are just showing hyperlinks, and only on clicking show hyperlinks, the content is visible.2) Unable to see images from the word file in the image folder.3)Structure of TOC is not replicated as in the word file.   Could any please help me with a video tutorial link or any other content which can have step by step guide on how to either resolve these issues or how to  convert a word file into a project (with reference to a TO I have attached screenshots which shows the import settings and also one s

I'm running Robohelp 2019. We recently added a link to a website in one of our topics. Since then Robohelp creates a blank folder with that website name with an added app. at the beginning. It's not present in the content folder in the source files and we don't see it anywhere when the manual is open in the program but that folder is generated in the output files. It seems harmless because it's empty, we just don't know why it's happening.Thanks

Currently whenever I try to generate any type of output, it simply shows the status bar moving but the generate never completes. I have tried multiple projects the result is the same. I have moved the location of my output, no change. I rebooted, closed and reopened the project(s) and the application itself, no change. Earlier today I could generate. Any ideas what the problem may be? thank you

All bookmarks seem to need to replace spaces with underscores. If I make a cross-reference to a bookmark, can the display text replace the underscores with spaces? So for example, let's say I have Topic1.htm with bookmark "Desired_Bookmark."Now I want to create a cross-reference to "Desired_Bookmark" in Topic2.htm.When I do so, the text of Topic2.html displays "Desired_Bookmark" but what I would like it to show is "Desired Bookmark." Is there a way to do this?

Hi,I have a project in Robohelp Reimagined 2019.0.14 and trying to generate Responsive HTML 5 ouput. Just the landing page of the file is getting generated in the output folder and all other topics/folders are missing from the output folder. That's the reason why I get file not found on clin\ciking any topc from the ToC/ the homepage. Did anyone face the same issue? 

I've started a new RH 10 project and whenever I convert a paragraph into a numbered list by clicking the numbering button on the toolbar, the font changes to Arial. I need it to match my Normal style.In all other RH projects if I click the numbering button, it creates the list but doesn't change the rest of the formatting. What's happening?I've looked in the help but it tells me I need to define a new style etc etc. I've never done this before so am rather confused.Is there a way of changing the formatting of a numbered list to match my Normal style so I can just click the toolbar button to convert a paragraph to a list?

I have recently upgraded the RoboHelp classic 2015 project to RoboHelp 2020. The upgrade was successful. But when I preview a topic or when I generate WebHelp output, all the topics display the Master Page content instead of the actual content. 

Our company has two software packages that use Indesign for the manuals.  We want to use the manuals as a basis for our help files in the software.  Previously we used Doc-to-Help software.  I have been brought on board and do not know Doc-to-Help or Robo-help but I do know Indesign and manage many publications through that software.

Hi I am using RH2020 Update 8.34. The PDF output content is not picking up the google font. I am using Google Font -Poppins. The frameless output displays the correct font type. The issue is only with the PDF output. Please help!!

Hello,I want to generate review links using RH 2020 to collaborate with SMEs. However, the Adobe CC account shows "File syncing disabled". I do not have admin rights to my computer, and so far, both Adobe and the IT dept have been unable to provide a solution to enable it. The account I have signed into is the corporate account that owns the subscription, although it is associated with my corporate email address. Not sure if this has any bearing on the problem. I have tried in vain to find a solution online and in the community posts. Adobe support has uninstalled and reinstalled the tech comm suite, but that didn't help. I have been stuck for weeks on this and it is frustrating. Can anyone recommend a solution?Thank you.

Hello,I have several RH projects that reuse images such as Icons. Is there a way to save the images at a single location and use them in all the projects instead of saving them in each project? The end goal is to merge all the projects into a parent project to generate responsive output.Thank you.

Been using RoboHelp 2020 for several months now and after a little learning curve have started to like it.   Having a couple issues:1. Importing from Word2. Renaming image files The two issues go together.  I imported a Word document which had a lot of images.  When it was imported the images came in using names like Image1.png, Image2.Png..... so on.  The trouble was that the help system already had images with those names.  That was Problem #1. So, I thought that next time before importing I would go through the help system's list of images and make sure none of them had generic names.  I tried it out on a couple of Images.  I went to properties and typed in a new name for the image.  The image was renamed, but the connection to the topic was gone.   What's the best way to handle this? How can images be renamed and still maintain their references?  Note that the old (classic) version this was all don

I'm having a difficult time understand why there are 2 stylesheets in the Word template.  For example, I created a new Word template, went into the content.css and changed the h1 font size.  When I generated the output, the font didn't change. It wasn't until I manually added the h1 into the layout.css file that my generated Word document font changed. When I look at the Style Mapping (in the Word Output Presets), it only shows me the styles set in the layout.css file. Am I missing something or is this correct? Thanks!  

I'm trying to install RH2022 on a PC running Windows 10 version 1809 without success.The RH2022 installer says the OS doesn't meet the minimum requirement.Any idea what the minimum requirement actually is? TIAMick Mathers

I just converted another old RH9 project to RH2022 through all the conversions. Frameless preset and skin (modified Studio). I exported the Skin from my main project and imported it into this new (fast) project. I changed the Header Links. My issue is that the generated output Header links (main title and header links) are a different color (purple and blue) than the white color I want. Also, the TOC links are blue too - at least initially.I've cleared out my browser cashe/history etc.  See what I'm talking about: If I copy the same skin\frameless folder to another small Test project, it looks fine. However, if I select a hyperlink in the fast project from a topic page or TOC, the colors look fine afterward. What am I missing and how can I fix this? 

I'm trying to install RH2022 and I'm getting error 21 (OS does not meet minimum system requirements), yet I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC version 1809.Has anyone else had a similar issue. What's the "real" OS minimum requirement? TIAMick Mathers
