I cannot launch Adobe Photoshop CC2018 and receive this pop up message: "Adobe Application Manager, required to start your trial, is missing or damaged. Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager fromhttp://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager." I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 Max running 15.2. Problem: There is no way to transcribe a specific clip in a sequence, and select one block of transcript to create captions from that specific block of text.The CC button creates an entire sequence of captions, ignoring the in/out points set by the user. I have a 10-minute video, I only want captions for a specific 15 second clip. There is no way to isolate that 15 second clip to be transcribed and captioned. Steps to encounter the bug:1. Create in-out points on your timeline.2. Transcribe the entire sequence because Premiere will ignore your in-out points.3. Highlight a specific paragraph of transcribed text.4. Click "closed-captions" for that specific block of transcribed text, while you have your in-out points set.5. This weird problem has happened 3 times now. I'll shut down LR Classic and backup as usual.  Next time I start LRC, I get that corrupt catalog message. "Repair" does not work. Well,  here's what happens.  When i find the active catalog in Finder, somehow the extension is gone. Instead of  Lightroom-catalog-2025-April-1.lrcat The file is actually there but the extension is missing.  It's just: Lightroom-catalog-2025-April-1 If I rename it by just appending .lrcat to that filename, then it opens and works fine. I'm glad the file is still there but this seems like a disaster-in-waiting.  Any idea what's happening?  I'm not having any other system issues.   I have over 100,000 images in LRC and this is disconcerting. MacOS 15.5  MacBook Pro M1  64GB memory  2TB internal SDD I'm attaching a screenshot of the file structure, which looks like it's cluttered with garbage. Hi,  I have a new laptop and an old version of Photoshop on my PC.    I would like to download the newest version of Photoshop, but I would prefer to download it to an external hard drive instead of directly onto my new HP laptop so that it won't take up so much space. Will Photoshop work if I download it onto an external storage drive?  And if so, how do I actually do this? Thanks for your help. saranee

My photos now appear to have a slider on the right no matter what percentage I am zoomed in on. I do not find this helpful when working on images. Sliding it up or down shows the black workspace which is beyond the image size. Is there a way to turn this off? Thank you.

There are no shortcuts for stacking? This leads me to believe I am missing more than just those, after searching online and finding many more shortcuts that don't work for me. "Group into stack" should be Ctrl+G. Hi there, I am sure way back in the day I was able to enable multi-cam and switch between Camera 1,2,3, etc. AND independently be able to switch between Audio Track 1, 2, 3, etc.).  It's very possible I'm crazy, but I am sure I was able to switch between audio just like video, but I only have [1] as the audio option. I know there are ways to get all audio tracks from the multi-cam sequence into the new sequence, but I can't keep them linked and so when there are multiple different interviews, getting out of sync is very easy.I'm going through the premierepro.net multi-cam page now, so I might figure it out.  But if you know what I'm talking about, I sure would appreciate some input.Thanks!

I have Lightroom Classic (updated as of this morning) running on a 2015 iMac and am trying to move most of my folders to an external drive.  The problem is that Lightroom will not recognize the new external drive in the Folders View.  I can see it in the list when I import items but it's not showing up on the Folders View list.  I have imported images to the new external drive so it's not due to zero interaction. I tried to do an "end run" by copying all the folders I wish to move from my internal drive to my new external drive.  I then right clicked on the folder in Folders View and selected "Update Folder Location" and selected the copied folder on the external drive as it will show up in its Finder-type dialog box.  All the files then became "missing" files as it apparently didn't recognize the external drive even though it was an option at that point.   I'm just not sure why it's not showing up in the Folders View.  Does anyone have any

Vista 64bit / CS4 / LR2 / Epson 2200 & HP 970Cse Printers Every other week or so, I get the error message "Before you can perform printer-related . . . . you need to install a printer". In this case, I made a good number of prints yesterday without a problem, now this morning, the error message? Un-installing and reinstalling my printers on a regular basis is a real efficiency killer, but seems to work. By the way, while I am having this problem with CS4, I can print with LR2 and all other programs. Help with a cause, and coming up a solution will be greatly appreciated - Happy Holidays, Bob

Hi everyone,I have a problem with the library tab in Lightroom Classic 9.2 on Windows 10:When editing a photo in develop mode and then going back to library mode (for example, to add tags), all my edits are "gone". And by all edits I mean everything, also cropping etc. and not only color. I can only see the edits when I go back to develop mode, but not in the previews nor in library mode. This makes it hard to work with the library and its functions (e.g. tags) at all.I noticed that this happens with some, but not with all photos, and especially (although unfortunately not exclusively) with photos where I only cropped or aligned the picture and did not do any further edits! Anyone else had the same problem and came up with a solution?Thank you! This is how the photo looks when I edited/cropped it (and saved metadata already):         As you can see, the photo is unchanged in library mode, uncropped. Good Morning,I have been supplied a pdf file by a client for a print job. When I attempt to open the file in Acrobat Pro I get an "Invalid Color Space" error. I can open and view the file in Firefox. I have tried saving the file from Firefox, but I get the same error once I try and open the newly saved file.Is there another way around this problem other than requesting the native files?Mac OS 10.15.7, Adobe CC Acrobat Pro.

I just did rest my Windows 11 computer to factory settings and re-installed Adobe Acrobat, for which I have a subscription (Acrobat Pro). However, I can no longer see my Adobe Cloud files in Acrobat desktop or Creative Cloud desktop.  1) I am logged into the same account online, in Acrobat desktop, in Creative Cloud desktop and on Adobe Scan on my phone. 2) I can see my files (and specifically my scans) online in https://www.adobe.com/files. I can also see them in Adobe Scan on my phone. New scans appear in the scans folder. online and in the Adobe Scan app on my phone. 3) I cannot see ANY files in Acrobat desktop or Creative Cloud desktop. Thery are totally empty. NOTE: The cloud icon in both indicate that I have used 1.9 GB of a possible 100 GB space, which is correct.4) I have fully uninstalled and re-installed both Acrobat and Creative Cloud desktops at least three times. 5) I have logged out and back into Acrobat and Creative Cloud desktops multi

One of the best new features in Windows 11 is easy management of multiple Desktops.  I have a Desktop for each of my jobs plus another for my home life.  Most of the apps I use open up in an instance in each Desktop  - for example, I can have Outlook opened to my job #1 calendar in Desktop #1, and open to my job #2 work email in  Desktop #2.  Butr this is not the case with Acrobat DC.  If Acrobat DC is open in Desktop #1, and I open a PDF attachment in Desktop #2, it sends me back to Desktop #1 - ruining the whole experience of using Desktops  (I don't want PDF files from job #2 open in the same instance of Acrobat as job #1) Adobe: Is there a way to have multiple instances of Acrobat DC running at the same time?  If not, please make it so I can have multiple instances of Acrobat DC across multiple Desktops.  I'm running Adobe Acrobat DC (21.007.20099)

Is there are way to set a spot colour to a stroke shape path in Photoshop? Is the only way to do this to create a spot colour channel and render the layer as a rasterized layer? I'm hoping to have a dyeline in Photoshop that has it's own layer and it's own named spot colour. Perhaps Photoshop isn't the program for this? I know you can import the .psd into illustrator and create the spot dyeline there. Is that the solution? TIA.

Bonjour, Lorsque j'utilise un des masques, je n'ai plus la possibilité de travailler les réglages de base. Par exemple, je ne peux plus travailler l'exposition ou les hautes lumières du sujet sélectionné. LEs réglages de base s'appliquent à toute la photo. Cela fonctionnait il y a quelques jours. Pourriez-vous m'aider?
