Solved

I have five text boxed named Name1, Name2, Name3, Name4 and Name5.  When I enter names into each of these text boxes, I would like to populate another text box, named All Names, with these names.  If I filled in Allan in Name1, Bob in Name2, Charlie in Name3, Donald in Name4 and Edward in Name5, I would like All Names to look like this: AllanBobCharlieDonaldEdward I have tried using this custom calculation script in All Names, but the names all populate on the same line in All Names, not on different lines: event.value = this.getField("Name1").value  +  this.getField("Name2").value +  this.getField("Name3").value +  this.getField("Name4").value +  this.getField("Name5").value; I think I need to insert code for a carriage return after each name.

普通であれば上記のように下が真っ直ぐなのですが、なぜか線対象のように下にも波形が出ます。原因ご存知の方いらっしゃいますでしょうか？

I'm really confused as to what happened here, just normal text for a community paper header I whipped up, and a rectangle shape, but I noticed it translated in the exported .png too. Even stranger, there's an alternate text version that is otherwise identical at the top that doesn't feature this degradation.  Not a huge upset to my design, just going to swap the text out in the other drafted version, but really curious as to why/how it happened???? [photo is of psd file not png export]

I need an expert's opinion and advice.... What would normally take just a few minutes now goes on for hours of incredibly slow backup time when it gets to this... 'presets' part of the backup of the lightroom catalog. Is it necessary to include this? My take on it is that it is incredibly encrypted so it making the backup software work hard to actually reproduce and backup... Yes, it does backup successfully and eventually, but I'm thinking I'm wasting time backup up the Lightroom catalog this way. Not backing up the actaul files as they are on external drives but just the 'catalog' that Lightroom uses to locate and sort and organize what is in the catalog. Someone who understands what is going on, do I need to go through this long abnormal backup process of 'presets', or, do you have anything to say or recommend... Tia, Ken

Hey everyone, I’m completely new to Illustrator and just starting to learn how to use it. I have no design experience and don’t really know what the tools do yet, but I’m trying to recreate this graphic that AI made for me (attached below). It’s a tree with colorful leaves, and instead of regular roots, it has these circuit-looking lines branching downward. I love the concept and thought it’d be a great way to start learning.I have both a MacBook and an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I wasn’t sure if I should try drawing the tree on the iPad or build it from scratch on the Mac. Either way, I want to learn how to do this properly and understand how Illustrator works along the way. I’ve opened Illustrator a few times and tried messing around, but it’s still really overwhelming. If anyone has advice, tutorials, or step-by-step guidance that’s beginner-friendly, I’d really appreciate it. Super excited to learn! Thanks in advance 🙂

The style exists, and if I examine it with .name ==, it matches. But getByName does not. In the code below, it's getByName that's throwing an exception, but the part that raises the "style found" alert works: function styleTable(theTable){    var tableStyleName = "Section heading";    theTable.cells.everyItem().clearCellStyleOverrides(true);    for(i = 0; i < app.activeDocument.tableStyles.length; i++)    {        if(app.activeDocument.tableStyles[i].name == tableStyleName)        {            alert("Style found");        }    }    try    {        var tableStyle = app.activeDocument.tableStyles.getByName(tableStyleName);        theTable.appliedTableStyle = tableStyle;    }    catch(err)    {        alert("Table style " + tableS

Hello,  Until yesterday, when I used crop/generative expand, the image would not be changed in any way. The only change was the filled area where I extended the crop. All of a sudden, a decent amount of the image is being distorted as well. How can I change back to where the original image is not altered in any way and only the cropped portion is added.  I read about adding layers, but I'm a novice and don't know how to do this. I tried, but couldn't figure it out.  Any help would greatly be appreciated.  Thank You

I got rejected because of quality issues, please explain me where the problem is from the attached photo. thank you.

It keeps telling me that my usage violated the Adobe firefly guidelines, but I did not. Please help I am just trying to remove a loose string on my dress with the generative AI remove tool.

I'd like to search trough my photos to find those containing a particular prrson is this possible?   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator and title edited by Moderator)

Good AfternoonI notice in the last couple of weeks that when I upload photo to lightroom classic, some are missing total grayed out. When I look on my memory card they are there.

In many documents I open, when I recolor the artwork a lot of the time it will show some or all of the white as 0.1% cyan. It takes a little work around to get it to stay 0%. I have to change that 0.1%C to 100%, and then change the other true-white swatch to 100% C as well so they become one color in the recolor dialog. From there, I just change it back to 0% and it stays that way. Is this a common issue, and is there a better solution than my current work-around?

I am at a total loss, I have created my design in InDesign, exported to PDF - looks perfect. Then when I come to print, it is printing black lines across the page which are in the same locations as some of my box outlines. I have tried exporting to png and printing and it is printing the lines in the exact same place. The most prominent line being around the rope image which has a transparent backgroundI have adjusted Transparency Flattening to High, I am exporting to PDF/X-4 as I have seen other people suggesting this. I have cleaned the print heads on my printer just in case. (it's a brand new inkjet printer) I am stuck now. I am really new to InDesign. Please help!

I have uninstalled, used the cleaner to REALLY remove it from system. Re-installed from our share here. no joyRepeated steps above, installed from adobe.com - still the loop It is a licensed product but keeps opening with 0 days left in trial.. I am at a loss Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hello, I'm using the latest PS update 26.7 but I'm not sure when this happened - before or after the update as I haven't used the software for about 2 weeks. When I open any image no matter how big or small and I go to the top "Image" menu and select "Image size" a pop-up window appears saying "Could not update smart object files because of a program error." What smart objects? I'm literally opening a simple image in PS and not doing anything else but wanting to resize it and this appears. It has never happened to me before so I'm not sure what to do about it. Image>Canvas size works but Image size doesn't.

Situation: ANY layered file, no matter the size or file type. TIFF, PSD, PSB hangs at 99% while saving for a very long time. Whether saving back to Lightroom or saving to ANY drive. It happens with files I've created from scratch, it happens with photos that come from Lightroom. My drives that I've tested: M.2 system drive, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, External G-Drive USB-C, NAS storage system. ALL of them do the same thing. System Specs:Intel i7-6900k 3.2 GHz 8-coreASUS X99 Deluxe II Board128GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3000Samsung 850 Evo (1TB) used as a scratch diskSamsung 960 Evo NVMe M.2 SSD (1TB) used as system drive10TB USB-C G-Drive (used for storage)NVIDIA GeForce 1080ti GPU (x2) Every other application I have runs amazing on my PC. Cinema4D? Runs great. OneCapture? Runs amazing. Davinci Resolve? Amazing. Gaming? All amazing. Lightroom? Amazing. Indesign? Runs well. This is STRICTLY a PHOTOSHOP issue and not my operating system (up-to-date Windows 10 Ho

I've just had the notification pop up about the end of the Photography Plan 20GB. I was lucky enough to "stack up" when Amazon had the plan on offer so my current subscription is still valid until December 2027. The notification said that if I want to continue the plan when it expires, I have to update my payment method and grant automatic renewal authority. Do I have to do this now or can I wait  say, a month before my current subscription ends in 2027 before doing this? In 2.5 years time, my CC details will probably have changed anyway. Thank you.

I use Sol Sans Variable for a lot of my work, and whenever I reopen a file that uses the Bold font, it switches to Bold Italic, and won't let me switch back. I have about 100 files that use this that I need to make alterations to and I need help!I'm attaching screen shots of what it looks like when I first open the file, and what happens when I click on it. I'm using a mac book pro running  Sonoma 14.15

You can see in this video, there are two background [BG] audios. I do not want BG music but I want backgroud voice only. All these are in one track. Is it possible to delete BG music only? If so, if you can give proper name for this work, I can find out procedure form YouTube. Video also attached.

I created an external hard disk to keep all of my photos (6,242) and catalogues, to make space on my laptop.. I have not worked on them for a year+ but need to continue to work on them. I updated my program to the latest version, and when I open it, I see the full program -- full file structure, categories, etc. and the total number of photos and numbers assigned to each catalog category, BUT NO PHOTOS! I just get the identification numbers and a grey screen for each. How do I get the lrcat to find the photos? ( I can go to a file and see each photo ... they are there, but the program does not find them).

I have alrready paid for my subscription, but I am getting buy option while trying to install app. Please help or give me another plan.

My employer is trying to use the "Print to PDF" option while in Outlook to turn his e-mails into PDF's. Unfortunately, instead of creating a PDF file, this process creates an endless series of Notepad files to open one after another, each with an identical message about "error printer spooling, skipping, blah blah, etc." These Notepad messages are endless, clogging up the system and forcing a hard reboot. My employer does not experience these issues with any other application than Outlook. My gut reaction is that one of his add-ons is interfering with the adobe printer, and that I should start in safe mode and slowly reintroduce his add-ons to find the culprit. Before I do that, though, does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks!

I received a request as a YouTuber from a supposed Abobe employee. The mail is without a signature and therefore does not seem serious to me. Can anyone tell me if this can be the email address of a real Adobe employee: kim.lewis@adobesupport.online Thank you

Hi, I made an annual plan with the monthly payment formula. I have some issues, and I'll not use adobe premiere pro for months. There's a way to pause the plan to not lose those months? Thanks for the attention 🙏
