Hi everyone,I’m looking to recreate a design like the one in the attached image — it has a bold, editorial layout with halftone-style illustration and clean typography. The dotted halftone effect forms the image of a fish, while the text is sharply set against a grid-like background. Hi.I'm trying to turn off Auto Updates in creative Cloud for all my apps, but when I uncheck  "Auto Update", and "remove older versions" , after clicking done, nothing happens, they are all still checked as Auto.I really don't want this, I like to manually choose to update etc.Any idea how to actually turn this off?I'm running Win 11Cheers.Steve.

My CF2021 box is failing security because even though I have uninstalled the search module from CFAdmin, Jetty itself is running an old version of SOLR inside Lucene.  Here's how I know this: GET http://server:8993/solr/admin/info/system HTTP/1.1 Under lucene: lucene-impl-version=7.2.1 b2b6438b37073bee1fca40374e85bf91aa457c0b - ubuntu - 2018-01-10 00:48:43 lucene-spec-version=7.2.1 solr-impl-version=7.2.1-SNAPSHOT unknown - Administrator - 2022-07-19 19:20:55 solr-spec-version=7.2.1 Is there a way I can disable lucene?  It looks like it's used for indexing/searching, and I have no use for it.

I have been told that "if you do not use the credits it will not rollover to next year, it will once again start with 40 credits a month for the next term and a term is consist of 12 months.".This is not what I remembered, I'm pretty sure that in the past, the accumulated credits were not lost as long as the subscription was renewed.Am I just getting confused with age, or have the policies changed recently?

I am using LRC v14.2. When I remove a keyword from a file in LRC, it does disappear from the Keywording panel, but when I look at the metadata for that same photo using another program, that keyword is still written in the file on the disk. How do I completely remove the keyword from the file so that it doesn't show up on any programs/apps?

Since there is no Adobe Portfolio page and no Creative Cloud page, my last resort is to post in the "get started" group.  I need to embed code into a button on a portfolio page but it is refusing the code.  I need it to link to another site to enable other programs.  Also, I cannot link instagram feeds.  I am finding the Porfolio restrictions limiting and very little support and access to help guides.  Can ANYONE help here?  Thanks!

I just bought a new computer that's supposed to have enough power to work well on it and everytime I try using AE it crashes and gives me a blue screen. Doesn't happen wit any other program or game, just After Effects, and not even advanced AE as I literally just started the project. Computer has these aspects: - Intel Intel i9 13th gen 13900k 24 cores- MSI GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Ventus 3x- MSI Pro z790-A Wifi Motherboard- 64 GB Ram DDR5- 2 SSD+ enough power and cooling- Windows 11 I don't know if this issue can be solved with help here or if I have to ask MSI's support, Intel's or Windows.I just want to be able to work properly using every tool I need and that includes After Effects.  

Hi everyone,I came across this visual (attached) featuring a stacked “R” and “D” with a really striking glow and distortion effect — almost like the letters are lit from within, with a smoky or liquid-like blur in between. The glow seems soft yet intense, and there’s a smooth transition where the two letters almost merge through light and shadow.I’d love to recreate this kind of effect in Adobe Photoshop (or After Effects if that’s better). Could anyone point me in the right direction? I have an Adobe Creative Suite subscription for PC, which includes Photoshop. Recently, I installed the Photoshop app on my phone as well, but the app won’t let me log in. Instead, it asks me to purchase a separate subscription to use it on mobile. I don’t think this is fair, so I wanted to ask if this is actually how it’s supposed to work, or if there might be some issue. What confuses me even more is that I can use Lightroom on my phone with the same subscription, but not Photoshop. Why is there a difference?

Jedoch habe ich noch keine Möglichkeit gefunden, Personen in meinem Beitrag zu markieren bzw. zu verlinken. Bei einem direkten Beitrag funktioniert das, indem man einfach ein @ vor den Namen setzt. Bei Adobe Express funktioniert das nicht. Hat jemand eine Idee?

Hi, when I select a shape and add a gradient to its edge by dragging the cursor through its side, the shape is deselected after the first drag of the cursor. My question is how to keep the shape selected when dragging the cursor a number of times through the other edges of the shape in order to add the gradient to the other edges.

After editing some, not all, DNG files in LrC I'm finding the previews are being corrupted when the files are viewed in Windows 10 Explorer.  A screenshot of what's happening is attached.   I've got LrC set up so that edits are being saved into the DNGs (or as side-car files for raw images I've not yet converted to DNG). The files are not corrupted per-se, when looking using the browser in Adobe Bridge they are fine, as they are when viewed in LrC and Lr.   Is this a Windows 10 thing?  I know I need to update my system soon...   Is this Explorer preview failure happening for anyone else?

Ever since a recent update all of my programs started acting funky. Over all I've gotten everything back to normal except for illustrator. No matter what I do to attempt to fix the issue, ACC refuses to download illustrator.- This happens regardless of which version I choose- I've tried using the control panel to repair the ACC program- I've done a full uninstall/reinstall of ACC and everything else- I've tried AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool in a different uninstall/reinstall attempt- I've tried manually deleting all adobe related files (after uninstalling all programs) to see if anything lingering was causing the issue - I've tried lowering fire wall settings just to see if itll let illustrator through- I've tried allowing more control in permisions for the C:\adobeTemp folderOther than the litany of different and sketchy looking solutions people have posted about over the years, I have 0 additional ideas on how to solve this issue and I haven't been able to find any dif

I need to paint on 1 layer out of many. I need the layer below it in order to guide where to paint. It seems to paint you have to do it by double clicking it and it appears as a single layer. So how can I use the layer beneath it to paint on the 1 above it? Do I have to permanently combine the 2 layers in order to do this?Thanks.

All updated versions of everything. This 'eye' when clicked on changes the image to some sort of preset. I don't know how to neautralize the preset as I only want to make a copy of the image to work on and keep the original as it is when viewed in the filmstirp. How do I make 'no change' when I want to make an image copy to work on? TIA, Ken
