Solved

My work chiefly involves compositing.  One problem I encounter frequently is blurring based on depth of field.  I may want to extract an element from an image in my database to incorporate into a new image.  Sometimes, I'll have an element that works well except that it is slightly out of focus because of depth of field.  Often, I can overcome that using various tools available in Photoshop.  (I find the texture feature in Camera Raw to be particularly effective in enhancing the apparent sharpness of slightly blurred areas.)  I've been seeing quite a few advertisements for AI powered sharpening plugins (e.g., from Topaz).  I'm wondering if any of you has had experience with sharpening  (detail extraction) software that offers any significant capability beyond Photoshop's own native capability.

Hi, I'm using Adobe on an iMac along with a XP-Pen graphics tablet. Up until recently I've had no issues with any of the Adobe programs. I use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop predominantly. Usually when I open LR it loads up on my XP-Pen tablet. Recently LR has now been opening up on my iMac screen. It loads full size with the traffic light buttons not showing. I cannot resize the window to my usual config. All I can do is go into Window and select centre. The traffic lights then show and I can drag it to the XP. But, I have to drag to about 50% of the way down on the tablet screen, go back into window and select centre or fill screen. But, when I then try to use a plug-in, or in fact open any other program on my iMac, LR immediately reverts back to the oversized version on the iMac. I can't figure out how to get it back to how it was before. Interestingly, Photoshop is not affected.. Any help would be appreciated. Photos are when opening and after dragging so LR is not showing on both

When I installed the latest version of Bridge, I mistakenly denied access to media on my computer. Now Bridge is essentially useless, as it cannot see any files at all. How can I correct this and edit the permissions? I tried uninstalling Bridge, and when prompted, chose to discard preferences. On reinstalling, I still cannot see files in the viewer window, so it would seem that the permissions choices carried over.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

My Creative Cloud user's workstations aren't allowed on the internet. What are the absolute minimum domains that I can allow thru the firewall in order for them to authenticate to use the applications? That's all I need, nothing else. I found this url, but even the "minimum" number of domains listed concerns my security sysadmin: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html Thanks in advance, George

I am creating logos in which I need a transparent background. I have searched many forums including this one and all the answers diddnt work. I require a step by step (every step) approach to ensure that I get a transparent background.I have tried saving an EPS file through illistrator and Photoshop. They all turn out to give a white background. Thanks in advance for your time.

(Neustart und Re-Installation leider Erfolglos)___________________________________________________________________________________Hello everybody, since today I have a problem with my Illustrator CC.. Suddenly it doesn't display my curve-anchors anymore.Every time I use the path tool to create a nice curve and want to chance it a little bit afterwards, Illustrator doesn't show me the needed anchor po

In the attached video, I show the bug that occurs when I open a PDF document in Adobe from my iPad Air; both the iPad and the Adobe app are fully up to date. Basically, when I select a portion of text and tap "Highlight" it only shows the color I currently have selected and doesnt display the full range of colors to change it. Instead, it only shows the option to adjust the shade of the currently selected color. Surprisingly, if I minimize the app at that moment, switch to any other app, and then return to Adobe, the color palette does appear. However, once I select a specific color and try highlighting text again, Im back to only being able to adjust the shade of that specific color. I would have to use that same "trick" I discovered (minimize-switch app-return to Adobe) to get the color palette to show up again. On the other hand, if I use the Highlight option from the toolbar on the left, I can change the color BEFORE highlighting any text. However, if I try to change the color

Since Photoshop version 25.6 and above, on the Windows 10 operating system, using the keyboard shortcut for zooming in on an image, i.e., Ctrl+Alt+SPACE, causes all buttons in Photoshop to become unresponsive. This issue occurs 100% of the time on my computer. I had to downgrade to version 25.5.1. The problem still exists in the latest version 25.9.1, which has caused me a great deal of trouble. I hope you can resolve this issue. Thank you.

I'm on a Windows 10 laptop, and always use the latest ACR and Photoshop versions. As a matter of pure science, does it make any difference at all whether I edit files in Adobe Camera RAW or Photoshop before exporting to high-quality jpgs?

Premier Rush crashes on my brandnew Laptop running Windows 11 Pro when going to the "new projects" page. I have read in another thread that it might have something to do with the user name and have tried all the suggestions incl. deleting files in \Documents\Adobe and what not, but no success.Strange enough all other Creative Cloud apps are working just fine, except for Premiere Rush which is incredibly FRUSTRATING.Has anyone had a similar issue and/or any ideas to solve this?Crash report is also attached.
