Fairly new Premiere Pro (25.2.3, macOs) user here. I realize that my source videos (talking-head) want to be processed in the same way wherever they appear on the timeline: loudness, de-reverb, color corrections, fixing camera tilt, etc. If I were to place the source clip into a sequence, then apply those effects before chopping it up to edit, I'd have lost the ability to change the effect parameters globally, which would be a big loss. (Aside: I do know about Source Effects, but they're not allowed for audio (why???), so I'm looking for alternatives) I figured that nesting sequences would be a way around this issue: I could create one sequence that's just the effects-applied source material, then place that one in my final sequence, and chop it up without worrying about effects getting out of sync. However... am I losing quality by doing this? (On the final export; I don't care so much about the preview.) I don't know how Premiere internally manages its data paths,

I have a multicam sequence with 3 cameras and 2 audio tracks. When I insert a clip into the timeline it only pulls the combined tracks but two of them. I need to edit the individual tracks in a timeline. I've changed the Audio Channels to mono and back to stereo and back again. It's clearly pulling to separate tracks into the  There are other multicam sequence that I'm putting into the timeline that are pulling correctly that have the same setting. Please HELP?!!????

Hello everyone! I can't get any of my brushes to work from my CC Library. I've tried from inside the libraries panel in photoshop, and I've tried from my library on the website -- I click, I double-click, right-click, all the clicks I can think of -- nothing happens.  Images and textures load beautifully from the library, but brushes do nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thank you so much! INTEL-based iMac (NOT an M1) running Monterey 12.2.1, Photoshop v. 23.2.1

Hello Adobe Community,I've been video editing off of an 8TB Seagate Expansion SW (SRD0NF2) for a while now. I'm editing H.265 files and when I've tested the drive the read/write speed is more than enough for these files. My cache is sizable (90Gb) and placed on my 2024 Macbook Pro's internal SSD. Now, I am working with a very large ongoing project, totaling about 7TB of video files and assets. But I only actively use a few select files at a time (sequences are less than 5mins tops). The drive is Mac formatted. The issues:- Premiere seems to only load the files immediately near the playhead. When I stop to grade an image and then request playback on the previous few clips, I notice that the HDD has to spin up again.- Premiere seems to spin down the external drive when I switch windows (CMD+Tab) to view a message in slack or email, even if it's like 15 seconds.- The drive will spin down if I stop or pause too long on a clip.- I have to constantly be preforming playback or moving the playh

I have several files in a book file. The first file has the document title, p-tagged as "Document Title". I then use a variable also called <Document Title> in the footer, like this: © 2025 MyCompany Inc. Proprietary and Confidential<Document Title> Here's the variable definition: The document title appears in the footer of all pages of the first file, as expected, but it does not appear in any of the later files in the book. That space is blank. I synchronized the later files to the first file, but that didn't change anything. How do I share the document title across all the files? Or do I need to set this up differently?

I've created an infographic that contains a custom bar chart, not many layer or sublayers yet and am pleased with how things are progressing. For the background, I Placed a jpg of a sheet of watercolor paper that has some soft texture, and it is located on the bottom-most layer, then adjusted to 25% opacity, no blend mode. Now, whatever shape or line I subsequently create has the same transparency as the watercolor paper... even though all the opacity settings for every element in every layer and sub-layer is set to 100% opacity. No blend modes. Oddly enough, once I remove the watercolor layer and begin drawing again, all shapes and strokes have normal transparency. I can adjust the brightness of the watercolor paper in PS then Place again in Ilustrator.  How can an element in the bottom layer affect transparency in the upper layers?  I'm stumped.  *attached is an example that illustrates the problem.

Why doesn't adobe porfolio allow you to type text that isn't centered. Even a normal text box you can;t just type left to right and it be right aligned like a book. This is a great example of what I'm talking about. See how these words in this post are left aligned and the sentences aren't aligned to the middle of the page.

I am switching from one Mac to another (using my work Adobe ID) and am trying to "Sync Settings", meaning I'd like to upload my Premiere settings (specifically, my Workspaces and View Presets) to my work Adobe ID's Creative Cloud, then download those settings onto the other Mac. It feels like "Sync Settings" keeps being moved from one Premiere version to another and I always have trouble finding it. I think it used to be on the Start Page, or the Premiere Pro menu; but I can't find them there anymore. I tried searching "Sync Settings" in the Premiere Forum and a bunch of unrelated posts came up. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks again for this terrific and helpful Forum!

Hi all,I've updated to Photoshop v.26.7.0 on Windows 10 Pro, using an Nvidia K1200 graphics card.I'm trying to use the new Select People option in the Object Selection Tool. While people are correctly recognized, when I choose individual parts like eyes, eyebrows, ears, etc., the tool outlines the correct areas  but after clicking "Apply," no selection is actually made.I've tried with several different images, but the issue persists.

It works fine using the keyboard arrows. When I try, it only moves one of the layers. Or, it moves the bottom layer (AKA background layer).

I have a student discount with my school email. For my classwork, I pick the personal account and for my on-campus job I pick the school/company account. For some reason, randomly the school account has not been working. It tells my I don't have access to any apps or services and that they aren't included in my plan. This has never been a problem to me for 7 months and suddenly I can't access services I need like Adobe Fonts. My personal account still works the same. This is a problem on both my laptop and the work computers, so it must be a problem with my account rather than with the software where I work. Any ideas on what is wrong?

I am posting this as a bug, but I hope soemone has an answer.  The last discussions i see are rom Arch 2023.I a running PS  26.6.1.  Ever since I updated, every file I open comes up as a floating window.  I have set "Open Documents as Tabs" bu to no avail.  I have restarted PS, restarted my Mac (running Sonoma 14.7.6).  Nada!!I have to go into Arrange and Consolidate to Tabs on every file I open.  Very frustrating. Any ideas, ayone??

Hi - this is an ongoing annoying issue...if i have 10 tabs (each one with a separate image) open in PE, and I want to print one of the images, I have to first "remove" each image one by one from the print window. Otherwise it will automatically print the image that is at the top of the list.  i am consistently printing the wrong images because of this clumsy feature. Is there any preference i can click on that will allow me to CHOOSE which image i want to print, rather than have to remove all the images I DON'T want to print? I hope theres some way to do this! thanks

Concern about long review times and potential unauthorized copiesHello Adobe Stock team,I would like to report a serious concern. I have several images that have been waiting for review for several weeks. During this long pending period, I’m worried that similar or identical content may have been submitted by other users who had access to my work through external image generation platforms. If my images are eventually rejected for "duplicate content" or "copyright infringement", I would like to clarify that I am the original creator and I have proof of creation, including timestamps, metadata, and prompt records. Is there any way to prevent or appeal rejections caused by unauthorized copies made during the review period?I would greatly appreciate your support in addressing this issue.Best regards,

Hi I have a Adobe CC photography plan and need to disable AI generative tools for Photography Club competition rules but cannot find how to turn it off or to disable using firefly when using the remove tool for example in photoshop. any one able to offer advice?

Is it possible to upload an image to Instagram that fhas a transparent background? I have a .png file that when viewed has rounded corners. It works fine but when posted to Instagram I get the transparency replaced with a colour. I can’t set this to a specific colour as the image sits on either a grey or red background. If it is possible what file format should I use?

On my desktop Adobe Pro app, I get this popup error on almost every Tool I click on: ""Acrobat has encountered a problem. Some features may not work as expected." With most tools, such as "Insert Text" or "Edit Pdf", I click OK and it proceeds to allow me to use the tool without issue. (When I say "without issue," I mean that the tool seems to work; my one caveat is that nothing appears in the Menu/Edit toolbar on the left hand side.)So most tools work regardless of the error popping up. However, the "Redact" tool does not. It allows me to select text and redact it, but it does not allow me to Apply the redactions. When I try, the whole screen goes dark gray with a ghost image of the adobe document in the background, and a plain white box in the center of my screen similar to an error window popping up but without any words or message in it. I can't click on anything, but it disappears when I hit my escape button, having not applied the redactions. I have checked for updates and i

Hello,I have a PDF that has text fields that are autofilled based on a value that is selected in a dropdown list. The script looks something like this: var dropdownValue = this.getField("Admission Type").value; switch (dropdownValue) {case "Type 1":    this.getField("Requirement 1").value = "Waived"    this.getField("Requirement 2").value = "Waived"    this.getField("Requirement 3").value = "Waived"    this.getField("Requirement 4").value = "Waived"    this.getField("Requirement 5").value = "Waived" break; case "Type 2":    this.getField("Requirement 6").value = "OK, 60+"    this.getField("Requirement 7").value = "OK, 60+"    this.getField("Requirement 8").value = "OK, 60+"break;} This is working fine; however, on rare occasions, I need the flexibility to manually type in other values for certain requirements. For example, if completing my fillable form with "Type 1" selec

I like my UI being small, everything is spaced out so I can click where needed without bumping the wrong thing.  The reference grid on the other hand, is a pain with the nine dots so close I'm constantly misclicking.  I don't have to change the size of anything else, besides enlarge the Reference Point Grid and I'm curious if anyone has a solution.

Tested on the mobile app. And no, it's nothing fancy that is missing, a lot of standard EF and RF lenses are not showing in the list, the whole EF-M system is skipped entirely.
