Solved

Hi adobe brain trust, For years I've been using the "show import options" check box on the 'Place' command to insert all pages of a PDF, or just a few select pages into empty frames. When I select either "All" or "Range" the dialog accepts that option - and in the past I've been able to place all the pages in rapid succession, in frames that have already been set up. Recently I am only able to place the first page in that range and then the command aborts. The command DOES still work, if I click anyone outside a frame.  I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue, or it's just me? Either way, does anyone have insight?   Thanks!

I'm working with two 3 hour and 45 minute clips (1080p60, .MTS files) from a live event. I manually synced both camera angles in a sequence using audio, then nested that sequence and enabled multicam editing. Even though I’ve created proxies (and even tried 480p CineForm proxies), playback is still choppy and lagging — especially when using multicam view. I've followed all standard advice: Proxies are attached and working Playback set to 1/4 resolution Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) is enabled Global FX Mute is on Audio follows video is off (I want to keep Cam 1 audio throughout) Tried rendering the nested sequence — helps a little, but still laggy PC is brand new: i5-13600KF, 32GB RAM, RTX 3070, SSD storage Also, I need Cam 1’s stereo audio split into two mono tracks: one for music (left) and one for tap audio (right). I used Modify > Audio Channels to separate them before building the multicam, but Premiere keeps duplicating both channels into both

Last April I asked for help counting figures in our documents.  The code you helped me with has been a real help.  In addition to getting a figure count, I also get a table count.  The customer uses these to help determine the level of effort for editing various documents.  Recently, I was asked if it's possible to extract the Title associated with each figure and table.  I tried boring down in the data browser, but can't find where that information stored.  I'm currently using the following code to get the counts:function countFigures() { figureCtr = 0; var figure = doc.FirstGraphicInDoc; while (figure.ObjectValid()) { Alert ('Stop script and check for figure name.'); if (figure.constructor.name === "AFrame") { figureCtr++; } figure = figure.NextGraphicInDoc; } return figureCtr; } function countTbls() { tableCtr = 0; textList = doc.Main

I have a video that uses multi-camera.Currently, I can easily change each clip camera angle by using shortcuts or by selecting the camera from the multi-camera panel. Problem is:I would love to select two or more clips and change the camera on all of them. For instance, in the image, if I select all clips, right-click and select: "Multi-Camera > Camera 1" it only changes the camera for the clip below the playhead, not to all the clips I had selected.  I've searched all over the internet, but didn't find a solution to change the camera angle for all selected clips. Is there any way to achieve it?

HELP!!! HI Guys, I suddenly CAN NOT save my files in Photoshop Elements 14.1. It was fine last night, but tonight it will NOT SAVE or SAVE AS. After trying various things, I uninstalled PSE 14 & reinstalledfrom my disc. This has made NO differance. Would appreciate any help, as I am in the middle of editing my first wedding photo's, so NOT good timing. All other editing elements seem to be working fine, as does my NIK plug-in software. It's VERY odd, as it's been fine up to now. I have had PSE 14 for about 4 years now & it's been working fine!!

I'm kind of new to After Effects, but I've written an expression or two and used a null object here or there. I'm expecting this would require one or both of those, if it is even possible. I want to create the effect of a moving spotlight. I have a graphic of a spotlight and an adjustment layer with cc spotlight applied. I can do this manually, but there is a lag between the rotation of the spotlight and that "light" from cc spotlight, so I'm wondering if linking them somehow is possible and if it would fix it.  I've attached a GIF to show what I'm trying to do. Anybody know how to make this work? I'm open to other solutions as well.

I have looked everywhere in the Preferences, but I cannot locate that horribly annoying Tour window that covers my work whenever I use Illustrator. Can someone show me how to turn it off (no, it's not the Welcome Screen...)?

Hi everyone, I have a quick question that I hope someone could help me shed some light on:I want to export a series of VFX comps for grading. I would like to export my full image, but with an embedded alpha channel. So the image has an alpha channel, but if I reimport it and switch the Alpha off the entire image reappears. Is there any way to do this in AE? In Nuke and Fusion it doesnt seem to be a problem, but I cant seem to find a way to do it in AE.Hope you have an idea ❤️

While I know of a work around, I don't understand while this basic paths feature is no longer working. I have including the simple steps and the error message. While I know if I hold down on the command button I can select the individual paths, but this basic method should still work and not give me an error message. Any input would be appreciated, thank you.

Good afternoon, fellow Lightroom users!  Would anyone know how to remove the duplicate menu items shown in the image below? Is this a known issue or is it new?  I'm using the latest Lightroom version in a Mac Mini with Sequoia 15.5, but this problem exists since the original Lightroom and Mac Os installation , a few versions ago. Thanks for your continued help!!!

I'm a schoolibrarian I wan't all of my students to be able to read e-books, but in order to download them in Digital edtions they need the create an Adobe ID. The only problem is that there's an agelimit. Most of the students are under 13 and not allowed to create an Adobe ID. Is there a way around this?

I'm having a problem re-activating my copy of Adobe Indesign CS3 following a move to another PC; getting the "no connection" message.I had an on-line chat with support who directed me to a link whereby I could get a new serial no. and a new download of InDesign CS3.I was told to uninstall my current copy, then reinstall using my new download and new serial no., after which I could activate.I did all this but when it came to installing, there was no option to use my new serial no. Instead, on launching, it went straight to the activation screen telling me I now have four days left to activate! The telephone option doesn't work any more but I checked there and noted my old serial no. is still there which seems to indicate it is permanently stored somewhere in the registry?Any advice on how I can get round this problem, please?

Hi All!So I thought it woujld be smart to merge 3 pics not only with different sharpnes but also different exposition. So I did - and the easiest way to merge it was to adjust layer opacity and fill to get best results. But in my case - alhou ok, it looks bit hazy. Saw some videos on youtube but didn't really get the jist of how would be the easiest way to merge those 3 pics into one. Objective is - to have sharpnes in every stage of the pics, as much as details, saturation and all. I can send those pics if it's possible here as well if needed. Ps 22.1.1I did use auto align layers already. But when trying to use auto blend layers - there is no joy. Probably focus breathing or something makes it hard for the right algorithm .Cheers

Setting up a new laptop which has been running fine for the last couple of weeks. Installed Adobe CC and Audition, and my pc crashes in a nasty way when I launch audition.  Screen goes black, computer becomes non functional, occasional flickers and cursor appearing, but cannot do anything with the machine at all. Have to hold down power button to turn it off and reboot.  Has happened 3 out of 3 times of trying to run audition.  Computer is high end Lenovo laptop running windows 11, way above spec to run audition.

We currently have a CEP plugin that we are planning to port to UXP. I had a look throught the API documents and it seems that some key functionality is still missing. Placing footage and mogrts in sequences and modifying properties are some of the things that we rely on.What does the current development timeline look like? We were considering doing the switch this summer. Thanks!

I can't find a way to change the default sizes of radio buttons and check boxes in preferences. Are we stuck with 0.25 inch x 0.25 inch? Working with documents having oodles of buttons and boxes, it's painful to have to change each group or box when the default size is way too big. Thanks!

Is there a yearly rate for Adobe pro.  I don't want to pay monthly as I don't use the credit card often and it is a hassle just to pay for one subscription.

First of all, sorry for posting it here. I couldn't find the billing/payment info forum. I pay for my Adobe subscription with my dad's credit card and recently he had to get a new credit card and "cancel" the old one. I forgot to update my payment information for Adobe, but somehow they still found and charged new credit card. What is weird becuase on my Adobe account you can clearly see the old credit card information. I wouldn't think of it as a big deal, but my dad is so angry right now. Does anyone know  how they did that? And if that's legal? Thank you for reading

'm working on a multi-page brochure in InDesign and keep seeing the red plus sign indicating text overflow. I’ve tried adjusting the text box size, but it’s not solving the issue efficiently. What’s the best way to handle overset text without compromising layout or reducing font size too much?

Hi all, This thing is driving me crazy for a while now and I can't seem to find anyone else complaining about it. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong here.  When trying the ctrl+alt+shift+T function to transform again a smart object, it behaves absolutely unrelated to what the transformation was. This is not the case for any shape or a rasterized layer. These work exactly as advertised. So again, my process is (with the move tool selected)1. select a layer (smart object)2. ctrl+J3. ctrl+T4. nudge it with arrow keys for example5. hit enter to accept the changes6. hit ctrl+akt+shift+t ..and it starts jumping 20x bigger leaps then I did or starts nuding to the right horizontally with no regard to what the input was. From what I can tell it's been going on for more than a year now and it was not fixed. Does anyone have any info on how to make it work again like it should? It would be much appreciated.

I use the font Marker Felt.  When creating the PDF for printing, the following error message has been appearing for the past 1 or 2 months:Due to licensing restrictions, the MarkerFelt font cannot be embedded in the PDF document. Strikethrough text is not visible. Translated form Dutch ("Het lettertype MarkerFelt kan vanwege licentiebeperkingen niet worden ingesloten in het PDF-document. Doorgehaalde tekst is niet zichtbaar.") The font Maker Felt is open source/free (handwriting, free for commercial use😞 https://www.1001freefonts.com/marker-felt.font I tried all the solutions sugested on the website of Adobe. Like delete and install the font again in the Creative Cloud. But nothing works. How to solve this issue?
