Solved

HelloThis is deja vu all over again, because I swear I hd this problem 3 years ago but I failed to record how I solved it so here I go again...I have 10.14.6 Os X Mojave and I'm trying to install CS6 Web Design Premier, so I can reinstall Photoshop CS6 on this machine.I successfully downloaded the dmg file, opened the installer, and when I run the installer I immediately got a pop up error as follows:I then went down a rabbit hole of trying to find solutions in this forum, including:installing from the terminal (new more verbose errors! see below)restarting is safe mode and installing from the terminal (same error as in screenshot above)installing aobe air help and then using the installer (same error)following someone's random code to undo "apple quarantine":sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine...and then installing from terminal (same more verbose errors! see below)So I'm at a loss. Can anyone please help me try to solve this?  I use photosop a lot and I would really like to get

I'm on Lightroom 14.4 on Windows 11. I have a calibrated wide gamut QD-OLED display. I made a v2 ICC profile in CalMan, and have this set as my current display profile. I grade an extremely saturated image that I know is well outside of sRGB gamut. I want to see how it looks in sRGB. When I enable soft proofing and pick sRGB I can enable the "show destination gamut warning" and indeed the whole image is outside of sRGB. Cool. But... Lightroom doesn't simulate it. I toggle between soft proof enabled and disabled and there's no difference. Bringing this into Photoshop and soft proofing for sRGB looks as expected. Significant desaturation when it's enabled. In Lightroom I can only get the simulation if I pick a printer profile and enable "Simulate paper and ink" in soft proofing.  Am I doing something wrong? I want to grade in the full gamut of my display (for future proofing) and then use soft proofs to trim the image down to sRGB or P3 as needed for export. Why

I'm using InDesign CC 2015. I am having issues scaling tables. In previous versions of InDesign, I have scaled tables in two ways:The first and the one I use most often... I'd select the table (i.e. the text box which the table is inside) using the Selection Tool, hold Command + Shift keys while dragging the corner and the table will scale in proportion to the desired size I'd like. The second method... I'd select the table (i.e. the text box which the table is inside) using the Selection Tool, while still selected, change to the Scale Tool and double click the Scale Tool icon in the Tool palette to bring up the Scale palette... here I would input the percentage I'd like to scale the table and the table will scale in proportion to the desired size. When I do any of the above two methods using InDesign CC 2015, NO SCALING happens.I've found a work around by exporting the file to .idml opening the .idml in an older version of InDesign, scaling the table(s), saving the file, and opening the

There are black bars on the left and right of the screen when LR Classic is in full screen. It is reproducible when showing single photo in ful screen, or LR itself is in full screen. Please see attached screenshots of the both cases on 2022 M2 13" MacBook Air running latest MacOS 15.5 with latest LRC 14.4. In order to make it more prominent, it is maximum brightness of the screen and increased brigness of the photos to distinguish between physical screen border (which is completely black) and the LR artifacts. Also note the small triangle in the bottom of the screen of LR in full-screen node. P.S. I tried to reset preferences, it did not help.

Hey! I took some photos on my sony a74 and they are ARW format (sony raw). I converted them to jpeg and then to png and neither would import into premiere pro. I then used the adobe dng converted and the dng files wouldnt import either. It says there is a header issue. It is also doing similar in da vinci resolve. I can import the photos but it says media offline when i try to look at them in da vinci resolve. I am pretty new to photography/videography so any help would be amazing! thanks 🙂

Hi, I'm trying to create an action in Photoshop. For this, I need to select the layer below the currently selected layer. The shortcut for this is Option + [. My problem is that my MacBook keyboard doesn't have a [ key. I can type [ by pressing Option + 9, but that means I can't use the Option + [ shortcut in Photoshop, because that would require pressing Option + Option + 9, which isn't possible. I've tried changing the Photoshop shortcut from Option + [ to something else, but I can't find where to do this. Since I'm creating an action, I also can't manually click the desired layer, because that would record the layer name into the action, which makes it unusable in other files. Does anyone know how to change the Option + [ shortcut in Photoshop so I can proceed with creating my action? Thank you!"

I want this ball have a motion behind the cup. For that I use inverted matte. When ball cross cup handle, only portion of the ball behind the cup handle should be invisible & other portion should be visible. How it can be done? video is uploaded as well.

Real life scenario: I'm working on a multi-track project that's 20 minutes longI'm almost done with my mixI realize there's an "ummm" in the voicetrack (Track 2) that needs to be taken outI have music and/or sound effects running under that on Tracks 3 and 4I have a ton of stuff all lined up behind this and want everything to move over (ripple) once I take out the "ummm" I can't just do ripple delete time selection on selected track---because that'll only move everything on THAT TRACK, and all the other tracks will be out of syncI can't do ripple delete time selection on all tracks---because it not only cuts the ummm from my track, it cuts everything on every other track directly above or below it! Just moved from Vegas (the program) where this was super easy: you snip the umm, everything to the left of the clip with the snip ripples, but you're not cutting other things on other tracks. What's the solution, or at least the best workaround? Thanks very much!

I'm using AE 2025We did the testing and got the texture and animation to appear with FBX files. But when I bring new 3D models or have the working model brought into a new comp, the animation drop-down in the Animation Options is gone.  I'm a bit clueless if it's a bug, a setting in the comps, or something specific I need to do beforehand. It's getting frustrating that the animation options exist in one comp and not in others. We did update the 3D Object's texture, but I feel like that shouldn't have caused any issues on the animation side

I'm having trouble with CC Libraries changing the names of links when packaging an illustrator file. I've lready been using the method of having to duplicate an asset within the library assets to make sure the name of the asset in the library isn't changed to 'Artwork 1'. I need my assets to retain their assigned names when packaging a file that uses Adobe CC library assets as I work in a large team and we absolutely cannot have these random named assets being outputted!

How do I change the default fill and stroke color for newly created shapes with a script? That is to say, the colors that are applied when I draw a shape with the shape tool, not any existing shapes. Thanks!

Windows 11 laptop, always using the latest version of Photoshop.Almost all of my Photoshop work involves birds.  For the workflow, I create high-quality (12) jpgs and open them in the Windows “Photos” App before deciding on the final version.  I'm very obsessive about the final product.  As an example, a few weeks ago, while in Photoshop, I selected the subject, decreased brightness by 45 and exported a high-quality (12) jpg.  I then reverted the change, decreased by 46 and exported another jpg.  I repeated this in increments of 1, all the way up to 70.  I named the files intuitively and went with the -63 version. I’ve done similar things with additional saturation applied to the subject only, as well as additional contrast applied to the inverse of the subject and to the sky. There has to be a way to save time by automating this that will not involve spending as much time tweaking the automation script as I would have spent by saving down t

Hello one and all,Ok here goes. I have 4 different versions of Photoshop on my pc. See image attached.I have tried many time to uninstall one by one, keeping the latest version being 23.4.1, however, none of these previous versions disappear/uninstall. So I went to my WinDoctor, he said, it's an Adobe thing, I went to my AdobeDoctor, he said, it's a Microsoft thing, and so on and around and around we all went.
