Solved

Hi,I just got back to InDesign after few years and I'm struggling with absolute basic stuff. I am editing a curve, for example - adding some anchor points to the object. When I want to zoom in using Cmd+ it zooms to the centre of the object and not the area I am editing, the actual anchor points. What is going on? Is this a normal behaviour? If so then it does not make any sense to me.Also - I am editing the same object and all of a sudden I want to zoom in to another object/text or whatever - it zooms again to the centre of the edited object and not the one I want to zoom in!?Does the zoom only work for the object/layer that is currently selected? Really? Please check the video to see what I mean. Screen Recording  Thanks a lot for any suggestions... D.

I don't know if anyone else here has seen this. MBR Color Corrector 2  It's a color checker chart plugin for Premiere Pro CC 2018 and lower. Just stumbled upon it. I tried the free trial and it works. You can even change the colors on the chart if you have a different one. This is going to be easier than having to export an XML file and import into Resolve. Free version also only supports 8 bits per channel but I'm not sure what that means when Premiere automatically up converts to 32 bit.But I also think buying this is worth it.

Hey!  I was sitting hightlighting and writing comments in a PDF. When I had to save it, it suddently said is had a write-protection (is that the English term?) and that I could save it under another name. When I try that, it tells me "archieve mistake" and then all the text disappeared only leaving my highlights. Meaning I know have a long completely white PDF file with a lot of yellow lines. If I try and open the PDF again, it opens another window in Acrobat, same file, but with no no highlightes or comment.  I've attached screenshots of what it looks like - the two same files, one with notes I can't read or save and the same files I opened from documents again with text but no notes. Can anyone help me with getting the text back in my highlighted PDF so I can see what I've actually read? Thanks!

We have problems with the OCR on some documents. I contacted Adobe technical support for help and said that the help I received did not answer my problem at all. This situation is critical for my company because the OCR removes certain information from the original document and that it is legal documents that can not be altered as well! The file in error currently works if I transfer it in image or if I pass it in post script and return in PDF but not if I work directly on it.The proposed solution is to go through the ADOBE PDF driver but it is impossible for us for several reasons. Is there any way that a programmer evaluates my file?

Gen AI not working in Beta and regular version. anyone else?

Hi,This is a sample page. How to separate the entire file into one page per page instead of two pages per page?

So I've been working on this file for years, I was the one that set it up but today for some reason when I was pulling a guide from the ruler it did not stay. I check if I had the "Hide Guides" option on but that was not the case. Then I realized this was happening in certain pages. All of these pages are part of Parent A, and again, in some pages it's working, in some others it's not. In the image you can see the guides are working on Page 16 but not on page 17 even when the Show Guides option is on. Has this happened to anyone else?

I changed more phone.I continue to use same account. The documents that were stored on earlier phone are not available on new phone. How can I retrieve the old documents ?

Adobe Acrobat Pro is my default app to open pdf's in.  I pay almost $90/month to have access to Creative Cloud apps, including Acrobat Pro.  Still, whenever I open a pdf, a window pops up wanting me to sign in.  If I sign in, I am prompted to buy a subscription plan to Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Besides, when the sign-in window pops up, I am already signed it.  How do I make this stop?

I'm using the latest Framemaker ( 17.0.2.431 ) and just installed bigger 32' dual monitors. Its amazing to see things bigger on screen, but I was wondering if there was a way to set the page view size or page zoom when FM opens a document? I'd much rather a single page take up the entire viewable area than to see multiple pages or only a section of another page. Currently, when FM opens a document it opens at 100%. That was fine on my older 24" monitors. 100% on my new monitors displays either 2 pages next to each other or 1/4 of the following page. If there was a way to set the default page view to 120% or to Fit Page In Window, that would be great. I just haven't been able to find a way to set it.

I need a javascript for Complex Calculation where Total + SAI + Pell = Need; but if SAI is a negative number, treat as zero. Can anyone please assist me?

Hey there, has anyone found a fix for this problem after the new Windows 22HD update? I print a ton of stuff from Illustrator via usb to my Canon Pixma Pro 100. However, after the update it seems like only my Adobe programs have been affected by this issue. Basically, when  I go to print in Illustrator the normal print dialogue still pops up (although takes much longer now). However, my issue is that when I click "Setup" to choose my printer settings, this dialogue now appears before the normal printing preferences window does, and again after, and as a result negates the paper size I just changed. Here's what my old workflow looked like:And now it looks like this:Does anyone have a fix to this? This is super frustrating and really slows down my workflow and apparently my computer. This window never shows up when printing from Chrome, just in Adobe.I also can't post on the Windows forums because they won't let me choose a display name, and every time I try to the page freezes

Hello,  I've been sent here from tech support.  Last wednesday I noticed my Adobe Acrobat Reader Free Version was not opening PDFs. I've uninstallled and reinstalled several times. I've done a repair. I've chaged it to administrator mode and nothing. In admin mode it comes up with the 'do you want this application to make changes...'. Both yes and no does nothing.  You click a PDF and nothing. It appears in Task Manager as Adobe Acrobat (2) and if you keep clicking new ones show up. Eventually a pop up appears saying there is a running error and a click here option with further fix options. None of these work. I found my business partner has had the same issue this week.  Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly apprecited.  Thanks

I'm using my "razor tool" in my timeline to isolate parts of clips I want to use. I then tried to use the "label' function to color those clips so I can easily come back to them. Then when I click on the any part of the clip not labeled the entire line changes color to those isolated clips. Is this a bug?

Hi everyone, Has anyone ever encountered an issue in InDesign where a link appears as missing or needs updating, but there's no way to fix it? I can't delete it or relink it—it stays stuck with the error. Even clicking on "Go to Link" doesn’t work, nor does trying to relink it with another file. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks!     <Title renamed by MOD>

Hello, has anyone had this issue? Purchased a yeary membership through Amamzon just as the rates were going up. Received a long redemption code of characters and numbers, but on trying to log in and redeem, there are only 6 cells to fill in. The screen prompted my phone with what looks like authenicator codes of 6 digits, but inputting them in, the redeem code button remains grayed over.  Been over a month of frustating attempts to get this sorted out. Any help would be appreciated from the community.
