I am very familar with Illustrator (CS4) except I keep having this one issue!!!!  I know how to make new swatches, solid color or a pattern, but have been having problems with making a new pattern swatch.  For example, say it's a basic square with some lines it in, or a plaid pattern or something, I drag it over into the swatch area and it's supposed to create a new swatch in there.  This does not happen more times than most.  When I drag it over it highlights the swatch window black like it is going to recieve it, but then nothing happens.  I've tried expanding the art, rasterizing it, drawing a transparent box on it, trying to somehow make it a symbol first, I dunno.  Can't figure it out.  If anyone can help me, I would be soooooooo happy!  I am working on a brand new macbook pro with 4G RAM and have no other programs open. Thanks for your help in advance!!Joe

On the template for my new website, it has a smooth scroll function which when clicked on, for example 'view my protfolio' at the top moves down the page to the relevant section clicked on.   However, I am finding this way too slow but can't find in the code where to amend the delay so it scrolls quicker? It seems to sit in 'animate.min.css' but I don't see any timings there.   url: https://kylehawkinscreative.com/

Lightroom Crashes randomly and gives this report. All my graphics drivers are up to date. I'll post system specs on the subsequent post. I've seen this error around the internet but not many fixes. I'm really hoping someone can help me get to the bottom of this one.   <?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE AdobeCrashReport SYSTEM "AdobeCrashReporter.dtd"><crashreport serviceVersion="22.0.0.202411120700_66319a4" clientVersion="22.0.0.202411120700_66319a4" applicationName="Adobe Lightroom Classic" applicationVersion="14.1.1" build="[202412150940-551fb044]" source="Windows-Client" crashType="n/a"><time year="2025" month="1" day="21" hour="5" minute="58" second="57" timeoffset="-300" timezone="Eastern Standard Time" crsessionduration="2915"/><user guid="b7d47344-a221-4709-b617-933d08ae0a9e"/><system platform="Windows 11 Pro" osversion="11.0" osbuild="22631" applicationlanguage="en-us" userlanguage="en-US" oslanguage="en-US" ram="130779" machine="13th Gen Intel

Hi everyone !first time poster here but long long long time Audition user ... in fact ... I am a user since COOL EDIT ... then witnessed the COOL EDIT 2 improvements ... and finally I also witness the transition to AUDITION and I used to use this program a lot !! ... promoting it worlwide during my DJ/Producer era 😉During those first few years there were also quite a lot of changes and one of the big one was affecting the multi-track : The move from .SES files to .SESX files which are multitrack format and which trigger multiple files to get imported in your multitrack view. So there was a software released called SES2SESX to help people automigrate their .SES sessions into .SESX but this software never really worked well for me ... there were errors all over ... anyway my set of 3 QUESTIONS is :- Do Adobe Audition in 2024 support .SES format ??- Does it support/use .SESX format ?? for multitrack sessions ?- Is there an efficient software to convert our old sessions to a new on

I often run into performance issues when working with large, complex compositions in After Effects. Whether it’s lag during previews or long render times, I’m looking for strategies to improve efficiency. Any suggestions for optimizing settings, using proxies, or hardware upgrades? For those interested in learning more about the software's capabilities, I recommend checking out the After Effects documentation for some official tips and best practices.

It would be a very helpful feature to have the option to enable dark mode for the menus in LrC.  Currently, from what tech support tells me, there is no option in Preference> Interface to set the mode for the menus.  I find there is a glitch, as the menus can be made to go into dark mode (assuming Windows is set to dark mode) by either clicking on the Map module then to the Develop or Library module or by changing the background color then selected Darker Gray or Black.  This somehow changes the menus to dark mode.

i made a circle of stars in adobe illustrator but all the stars are rotated differently. The blend/replace spine video I found online shows it correctly but mine is not turning out that way.  that video was from 2022, maybe something has changed? my shows the stars in a circle and you can see they are all slightly rotated more and more as the go around the circle. they should appear as the star in the center. Thanks in advance for the help

I’m part of the IT section supporting a municipal government office, where we currently manage approximately 20 Premiere Pro CS6 installations. Until recently, all installations functioned without issues. However, about three weeks ago, users began reporting that some imported video files display green and pink colors. The same video files (MP4) play fine in VLC.I’ve conducted extensive troubleshooting, including a thorough search of Adobe forums and other discussion boards. I’ve followed all recommended solutions—such as ensuring Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit, Enterprise license) are fully updated with the latest graphics drivers and system patches—but the issue persists. Additionally, I tested installing an add-on GeForce video card with 2GB RAM and the latest driver, yet the problem remains unresolved.Any guidance or suggestions you could provide to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

My pc runs windows 10 and at the end of the year it will not be supported. My pc will not accept windows 11. That means I will have to buy an new pc. The photoshop version I have is CS5.1 extended. It is on a cd that I bought years ago. It also has the product code. I know that when it comes time to set up the new pc, I have to deactivate photoshop on the old pc before downloading it on to the new pc. I know that this version is not supported anymore with updates. My question is, will I still be able to download it from the cd onto the new pc? What preparation or information do I need to do before I do the download? I hope that I can still use this version because I can't afford the newer photoshops. Thanks,Terry
