I know about backing up IDML files, but for large files, I think it would be faster to copy the indd file directly.I want to copy the current indd file directly to the “Backup” directory in the same level directory and rename it.Like this:aa.inddAfter the backup:... \Backup\2025-03-03-aa.indd Some of the code below is for backing up IDML files and it works fine.I want to add copy indd file to Backup and change the name .Please advise how to modify it.Thanks a lot.var myDate = new Date(); var myYear = myDate.getFullYear(); var myMonth = ("0" + (myDate.getMonth() + 1)).slice(-2); // Add leading zero var myDay = ("0" + myDate.getDate()).slice(-2); // Add leading zero var myFormattedDate = myYear + "-" + myMonth + "-" + myDay; /** * Creates a folder inside of the active document’s parent folder * @ param the active document * @ return the folder’s path * */ saveIDML(); function saveIDML() { //creat Backup folder var myPathName = app.activeDocument.filePath.fsName + '/' + 'Bac

Hi guys,I do simple graphic design (flyer at the moment) on illustrator and it keeps lagging and going extremenly slow. At first, I thought it was a problem from my mac but now I also have a PC and it is doing the same problem. It's lagging at EVERY click. I did every step on the ''Improve Illustrator performance'' page and I checked for memory issues. I am so not a itech pro so please help me!

I'm a new user, but after finding a bug in the rate stretch tool in small clips (forced zooming), I have another issue that no one at the help desk can solve. Here is how to recreate the problem I find everytime I edit footage that has a bright object with a dark background.  1: Film a total black room (i.e. keep lens cap on perhaps).2: Insert footage into timeline.3. Select the rectangle tool and cover part of footage (as you have to do with filming errors or background inconsistencies).4. Fill the shape black.5. Exclaim: "Why is that shape faintly outlined!!"  The black shapes have a very fine shape surrounding it that you cannot remove, and worse still when you export it, the outline is slightly visible which shows up all your filming cover errors. This does not happen in Premiere Elements v10.Why is this? I have tried all manner of methods to remove it. Attached screen grab of problem, but I upped contrast so you can see fine lines on any resolution sc

I need to download and install Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro for my online college, but my computer isn't compatible with the newer versions. Do you have previous versions available?

Do you want PDFMaker to save the file and continue?" If the file is indeed not saved, then clicking "Yes" saves the file and proceeds to select the PDF file name and location.However, this often happens even if I did save the file right before going to "Save as Adobe PDF", and in these cases, clicking "Yes" just closes the dialog without generating a PDF. When that happens, it persists no matter how many times I save the document.For a long time, the only resort I had was to close the file and re-open it, and then a PDF can be generated with no message. I did a shoot yesterday and importing my 5dmk3 CR2 files to Lightroom Classic or Lightroom and the files are completely glitched and crazy looking. They import looking normal, and then immediately one by one they take on this crazy corrupt look, as if they are getting corrupted one by one or previews or something. I have tried disabling Smart Previews. They look fine on the camera and in image thumbnails. Here is an example. I have read posts from 2021, 2022 about problems running Photoshop in Windows 11.  Can anyone tell me whether there are issues running the most current versions of Photoshop in Windows 11?

I have been using Photoshop for many years. I do basic editing, and removal of objects. Nothing special. But last week generative fill used to work, and now it doesnt. I would select a telephone line for example and hit generative fill, generate and NOTHING happens. So then i type in remove, still nothing happens. Suggestions to me have been to just use the remove tool and then clean it up. Generative fill was so good I could remove  a branch across a birds face and you couldnt even tell. I cant do that now.Upon investigation I learned about Rosetta so yes I unchecked the box. Still nothing. As of July 12th, I am updated in all versions from the cloud and desktop. My credits are 95/250 and I am mad i keep losing credits when nothing is working.I am mac m2.

How do I add a background fill and border to a comment text box in the new Acrobat? In the previous version, you could right click and change it in properties, but I can't seem to right click without it selecting the text.

Hello, I have previously used lightroom's free 7-day trail and decided today that i wanted to use it again. I signed up for the 20gb Photography plan (which inlcudes both Lightroom and Photoshop) and when i start up Lightroom now it says i need to renew my subscription in order to use it when i've already subscribed to it. I would love to have this solved   (this image showing the programs included with my plan)   (this image to show that in Lightroom its telling me to renew my subscription in order to edit pictures)     {Thread title updated by moderator}

When I activate "show backdrop", mode: in front and set the opacity to 100%; I get this error message: the backdrop settings are preventing the preview from showing image changes.As soon as I drop the opacity to like 85% it starts working again, but it's very distracting to work that way. It worked at one point and I can't tell when it stopped specifically.Hopefully, someone can help me to resolve this.I'm running Liquify as a smart filter, the layer I would like to see in front is a rasterized layer without a layer mask. My working space is in the Adobe RGB with 8bit color depth. I'm using the latest version of Photoshop on an iMac (macOS Mojave).

Using LR Classix v14.2 on my PC, all thumbnails and strip below are red in Library mode.When in Development mode, images are ok but are red in the images strip at the bottom.What's going on ?Thanks

In building out a new server for ColdFusion 2021, I migrated code running on CF2016 which is returning a strange error. One of my GET REST services which calls another using cfhttp is returning the following: { Message: "JSON parsing failure at character 1:'<' in <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>301 Moved Permanently</title> </head><body> <h1>Moved Permanently</h1> <p>The document has moved <a href="https://myservername.ddns.net/rest/services/grantPermission">here</a>.</p> <hr> <address>Apache/2.4.52 (Ubuntu) Server at myservername.ddns.net Port 80</address> </body></html>" } What makes this even stranger is the fact that there is no redirect in either service.See the below snippet of error from the exception log:"Error","ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8020-exec-2","04/21/23","18:57:09","","HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" coldfusion.rest.meth

Ultra Key is not removing green. It's supposed to be simple, click on the eye dropper then move to the green screen, click and it should be gone. It should be, but for me, nothing happens. I've reset preferences... I'm out of ideas. Has someone encountered this before? Have I left something out in the process? Is there a solution?CheersPatrick

Hi all I’m running into the following problem, and I hope someone can help me. I can’t use Premiere 2025. I don’t get an error message, but it launches the loading screen and then shuts down. I’ve tried reinstalling all of Adobe and updating my drivers. When I switch my graphics card from studio to gaming mode and vice versa, Adobe 25 does start, but only until I get the message: "Initializing GPU - please stand by for playback. This process is required after new installations or driver updates." After that, Premiere shut down again. I’m working with a GeForce RTX 4080, so I don’t think that should be the issue. Premiere 24 works fine. Does anyone have a solution for me?

Is it available to import markers data into a sequence in Premiere Pro?

How can I get away this thing that my pages are adding to the previous spread, instead of a new one?

Good Day I've had Adobe Acrobat Pro for a while now and normally get charged on the 3rd of every month. This was the case for the month of Feb, however it isn't being reflected in my app. It also doesn't say anything under plans and payment, nothing in orders and invoices or in plans. Please can someone help me?
