Solved

Been using InDesign for years and the image scaling feature is something I rely on heavily, either choosing a percentage, or simply using the down arrow until the image fits where I need it to. Recently this has stopped functioning either correctly or at all, in several ways:(1) If I choose a percentage, eg 25% I get this message: "This value would cause one or more objects the leave the pasteboard." And nothing happens even if I try to proceed. Never had this happen before and I almost always use the small scale.(2) Since Plan A didnt work, the next step is to use the down arrow to scale it. But that doesn't work either, nothing happens. Nada. (3) Then if by some random chance the scaling option does work using the down arrow, the image scales down but disappears down the page as it does so. In the past the top left corner has always stayed "pinned" in position while the image is scaling down until I get the width needed. But now the image moves down or even off the page as it sc

I have tried just about everything to try to resolve this issue within my color settings on InDesign. Currently I have it set to North American General Purpose 2 (the same as all my colleagues have). However my blues are still showing up as dark purple. I have also tried the Emulate Adobe and Custom option in the Color Settings, with no luck.  The weird part, is that this only happens on my monitors. When I drag the INDD file to my laptop, the colors are normal. When I export it to a PDF, the colors are normal.  I currently have Dell Monitors, but even tried a Lenovo monitor (since my laptop is Lenovo) and that still didn't work. I also reset the color settings on my monitors and on my computer. And deleted and redownloaded INDD.  Is there anything else I didn't do that you would suggest? It's driving me crazy. And it didn't use to be like this. It just turned purple one day out of no where. Monitor vs. Laptop

Ever since updating to the newest version of Premiere Pro (24.4.1), it continuously crashes. It happens when I try to do pretty much anything on any project. I tried:- deleting media cache folder- deleting and reinstalling entire application- reverting to previous version of Premiere- creating a new project and importing existing project into it Nothing works! I use this for my job and need it to be fixed ASAP so I can actually do my work. Here's what I'm running it on:Processor AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 24-Core Processor 3.79 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GB (63.9 GB usable)Device ID 60128F8A-2A6F-41D3-B09D-9C693AD67935Product ID 00330-71290-00002-AAOEMSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition Windows 11 ProVersion 23H2Installed on ‎2022-‎09-‎21OS build 22631.3593Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1003.0

After using the eyedropper to select a color area in Hue vs Sat in Lumetri Color, I am not able to adjust the saturation.  Mouse selecting one of the control "dots" does not work.  On rare occasions I can actually get it to work by randomly selecting other controls first.

I'm finishing up a 15-indd-file book. It has lots of hyperlinks and cross-references. Some of them are not working because I entered them in the individual chapter files before incorporating the chapter files into the book. I know how to fix those, but I'm having one problem. 14 of the files are behaving just fine; it takes just a few seconds to redo the links. When I place the cursor where I need it in the 15th file, the mouse cursor simply disappears for 20-25 seconds in ID. If I move it outside the ID screen, it's visible and works fine. This is happening with only that file. I did try saving it as an indl and then recreating the indd file from that, but it did not solve the problem.I have done some internet research and made the recommended changes with respect to display settings and the like, but I see no improvement.Grateful for ideas.

I click on the AI agent button at the top of the page and I get a 404 error message. That's very frustrating but also pretty embarrassing for Adobe. They put something up that gives users an error message? Wow.

The basic printer profiles seem to be missing when I am trying to print to the Epson SC-p800. I selected Photoshop controls printing. Only a few paper profiles show up. The basic ones such as Premium Luster, Glossy, etc. don't show up only 3 for legacy papers. The luster one was there only a few weeks ago (before the holidays - I used it). Last night I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled the driver software but that did not fix the problem.

Is it possible to dynamically change the text and color of an .ai (Adobe Illustrator) file using AI/ML or any other technique? Currently, I am using ExtendScript to replace text frame contents. However, when the new text is too long, it overflows beyond the original text frame area. I want the text to automatically fit within the original text frame boundaries, regardless of its orientation — horizontal, vertical, circular, inclined, triangular, or even in cases of split text frames. Is there a way to achieve this automatically, either using ExtendScript, AI/ML integration, or any other method?

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with a PDF generated with Indd in interactive PDF mode. My client reopens this interactive PDF with Preview and changes the font layout and the character itself. Can you help me? Thanks.

Wow!May be I am missing a step in moving images between Lightroom Cloud and PS? However, there does not appear to be an easy method to acomplish the task.

I'm working in a project with sources with mixed frame rates.  The source timecode in my EDL is often off by a few frames, sometimes seconds.  Is there a best practice for exporting mixed frame rate EDLs?  Thanks so much!

Hi there,  I'm facing a frustrating issue with my template built with variables in Illustrator. The moment I change anything at all in the original (working and loadable file), even if it's just a letter, I get the error message: Ïncoming variable library is invalid". Actually, even by not changing anything, if I open the working source file in Excel, that still could import to Illustrator, the moment I click on Save in Excel, without even changing anything, the file will not load anymore in Illustrator. My source file has not been used or changed for about half a year and now I can't modify it anymore without it erroring out. Have to add that I have a new laptop. On my old laptop csv files would automatically open in coloumns including my source file. Now this is not the case, and the moment I try to load the data within Excel's "Data" section, the loaded data is already giving me the error message without any changes upon loading in Illustrator. Can anyone jump to

Hi, I was told from adobe that I can't add a gradient swatch in Libraries. So does anyone know how to move the swatch between these programs? Thanks!

I was using InDesign at work with my laptop connected to my fancy new superwide monitor. Then I came home and tried to open the same files on my laptop without the superwide monitor. The workspace windows are apparently opening up offscreen where I can't see or grab them. I've tried changing the resolution, but can't go small enough to pull the windows into view. I've done a lot of searches on the topic but nothing seems to help or reset the windows and all the solutions provided are from at least a year ago. Any other suggestions?   [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Mod][To find a forum for your program please start at https://community.adobe.com/]

Hallo, welches Adobe Paket muss ich buchen, um Ligthroom Classic LrC auf dem Macbook (Notebook) zu nutzen ?

Hello. I upload my photos by drag and drop, but when uploading the files, the files lose resolution and quality, what can I do? Note: The example is in below.

Scenario 1: When the cursor is in a cell, select the entire column of the table (excluding the table header and footer). Scenario 2: When text is selected within a cell, executing the script will select all cells in this column of the current frame (excluding the header and footer rows).@Robert at ID-TaskerLong time no see. What big things have you been up to lately? He wrote a piece of code that selects based on matching styles, but sometimes the cell styles might differ, so it doesn't work.app.doScript("main()", ScriptLanguage.javascript, undefined, UndoModes.ENTIRE_SCRIPT, "To Layout! …"); function main() { // Place the Cursor in any Cell: var myCell = app.selection[0].parent; var myCellStyle = myCell.appliedCellStyle; var myColumnCells = myCell.parentColumn.cells; var C = myColumnCells.length, c; var myCounter = 0; var StartRow = 0; var EndRow = 0; for (c = 0; c < C; c++) { // alert(c); if (myColumnCells[c].appliedCe
