Try changing the indd file association from InDesign to something else and then change it back and see if it resets the icon. 1. Go to: Start > Settings > Apps > Default apps > 2. If the printing company forces you to choose a raster-based format then PNG is probably your best bet. JPGs are best with photos while PNGs produce cleaner line art when converting to raster. My question - Is it better to save at a high resolution with lower dpi (150) or lower the image size and save at higher dpi (300)? Chris, Think of it this way... DPI is the clarity at a specific size. The size is directly proportional to the resolution. The larger the size, the lower the resolution. So it is best to start with this question. What is the largest size I want to offer this printed at? If my file is 8000 x 10000 then I know a few things. 1. At 300dpi this image will produce a 33.333 x 26.667 inch image 2. At 220dpi this image will produce a 45.45 x 36.364 inch image 3. At 150dpi this image will produce a 66.667 x 53.333 inch image. The file is the same. The resolution is baked in unless you resample it. It is just a matter of how clear of an image you want based on what size you are printing. So to directly answer your question. You design your file with the print size in mind at 300dpi and the resolution will be what it is. In your case, 33.33 x 26.67 You can play with what size something will be by going to Image > Image Size and unchecking the resample box and then adjusting the resolution. You will see the units change to inches and tell you what size it will print at the given resolution. Steve, Unfortunately no. The only features you can ramp without cuts for audio are Volume, Channel Volume and Balance. Of course the linked audio to the video will speed up if you ramp the video. Hmmm.... Wait.. I just did some testing.. so as long as your audio file is "Linked" to a video track, you can ramp that video track which ramps the linked audio as well. So.. you could link the audio you want to ramp with a graphic off screen. Then ramp the speed of that graphic and in essence you would be ramping your audio as well. That would work. Cloud1950, I took a few minutes to create a test file similar to yours and did a screen record for a portion of it. Everything seemed to work fine. The steps I took: 1. Create a text box 2. Insert Table 3. Specify header rows 4. Add content 5. Add pages 6. Flow text boxes to next pages (clicking the red plus icon and then holding shift down and clicking on the next page frame) 7. I always set my text with the text tool rather than importing a photo of my text. There is a specific answer to your question. But, there is something to consider as well. First, yes, they are the same given that your current fps matches the footage you brought in. Your video is simply a series of images stacked together to make it play. Framehold stops on one of these frames. So if your video is 1920x1080, the still frame is the same resolution. Exporting a Png will give you the same resolution. HOWEVER, If you have artificially time-stretched your video and forced Premiere to add frames, then the resulting png will not be as clear as if you took the still from the non-stretched video. I'd be happy to help ya. It's not quite apparent what you need to do, but masking is your friend in this case. Since the document is an Illustrator file, lets stay inside illustrator to make your edits. 1. place your image into the document below(behind) the rectangle you want it to be contained in. 2. select the rectangle and your photo layer and right click and choose Make Clipping Mask 3. If you double click the new masked image you can then adjust it as you see fit. Scale, perspective, skew etc. 4. Simply do this for all your images and you should be all set.
