Issue – When importing an FCPXML, if you have ASCII codes in the string, they are incorrectly parsed in Premiere. (specifically here, " is returned as #34; instead of “) Steps to reproduce –  * Import the attached sequence Expected result – The metadata “comment” for the sequence should be {“Test”} Actual result – The metadata comment is {#34;Test#34} Adobe Premiere Pro version – 26.0.1 (build 3) Operating system – Windows and Mac OS Comparative information this began occurring with Premiere Pro 25.4

I want to set in/out points for an image and add it to the timeline, but I've noticed occasional one-frame discrepancies. My specific steps are as follows: setInpoint = 0setoutpint to 14000 frame, using ticks, calc by timebase * frames.insert to a 23.976 fps timeline, the image will only length with 13999. The ticks should be the most accurate, but there still seems to be a one-frame deviation. Inserting frames 10000, 13990, and 30000 works without errors. However, frames 14000 and 14899 do produce errors. It seems to be due to a rounding error somewhere.Does an image have a frame rate? It seems not? Or is it a problem with how it's calculated? I also tried obtaining the time object of the next segment and its ticks to fill in the gaps, but there was still a frame discrepancy, which is quite strange.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this? (Title wrong, I confuse the two )Video below should explainWhen using “Ripple edit tool” it will not “grab” the cut26.0.1This happens specifically if you try to grab the cut from the audio track, and not video trackAnd also, more specifically, this tend to happen when the audio track is collapsed fullyHowever, it’s impossible to grab and adjust cuts from the video track, as a huge timecode will cover the audio waveform (another post earlier)

I am needing to use Roboto in my project. It is showing up as a random font. I have tried everything - deleting and re-installing the dont, tried adobe font, deleted cache, rendered. Nothing will change my text to the roboto font even though it is selected  

I'm using Premiere Pro version 25.2. I need to edit a 13 minute talking head video.There's only one mp4 file consisting of one video and audio clip linked together. I transcribed the audio and sequence. Automatic in/out points are selected. I tried doing it with "follow active monitor" selected and also without that option selected. I re transcribed the clip and sequence twice already.I restarted my laptop twice already.I restarted premiere pro twice already.If I remove pauses, then it correctly edits the clips on the timeline.But if I delete words from the transcript, those changes are not selected in the timeline. Toggle track is on for the audio clip that I'm trying to edit for. Can someone please tell me why my text based editing is not working???I don't have the time to cut out all of the mistakes manually in all of my talking head videos!

Seeing it multiple times this week in in premiere 25.3 25.4 and 26.0.1.  Importing a .2+ hour gopro video at 1080 resolution.  The audio is there, but it processes the audio and only shows me the first half of the waveform. I have deleted the peak files dozens of times, and it craps out after the long reopen/generate process, only to crap out with less than half the waveform available. The recent changes absolutely SUCK!!! I have to wait at least 5-10 minutes for the waveform to generate to become visible (unlike the old version where it would start showing you the parts of the waveform that had processed as as soon it is available Also “Generate Audio Waveform” function has never done anything.. absolutely nothing hapens. “Render selection” or Render Audio sometimes kicks it into working but not lately This program is SO fucking maddening--without this visual ability to see where the songs of the band stop and start, it is insanely time consuming to chop up and edit video.

The only way to fix this is to turn off Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration, which is no longer available. I occasionally run into a glitch where the image in my program window gets scrambled. Not only does this make editing a nightmare, the glitch often persists even when I render, making my final product unusable.In the past, I had been able to turn off Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration, which fixed the issue. However, Adobe has recently made the ill-advised decision to remove that option. Say i have 2 timeline tabs open, and i click form Edit to Selects - Often, but not always, premiere will act as if i have the mouse button pressed down and draw a huge marquee rectangle as i move my mouse, and it will keep acting like this until i click the mouse a couple of times to sort of unstick it.  This has happened on and off for at least the past 3 years. Im not sure if it happens to anyone else, but i have  experience it on numerous different machines/premiere versions  so its not a specific version of issues with my specific mac.  

LUTs applied in Lumetri work, but after saving and reopening the project, the LUTs don’t reload. Color correction is lost and must be reapplied each time.

So I made some lower 3rds a couple years ago, that always showed up in Graphic Templates/my templates on Premiere. I used them several times in other projects. However, my hard drive crashed a couple weeks ago and I had to replace. I still have access to the files on the old drive, so I’ve been slowly copying files over that I need. However, I cannot find those the lower 3rds I’ve been using. I’ve went through AppData (Yes, it’s a Windows machine), and all the folders suggested to try did not have anything. What are some  other places I can look? Or am I out of luck and do I have to re-create these graphics again?

I have a macbook pro M1 Max with 32 GB of ram and mac os Sequoia 15.7.4 and I cannot download premiere 26.  until now I was using an intel mac with no problem.  What can I do to my new computer to make it work with premiere?

I’m making a time lapse of the recent blizzard.  Unfortunately the time lapse feature of my little surveillance camera failed, so I have downloaded the micro SD card from the camera and assembled one long 24 hour file out of hundreds of files (the camera records one file every minute and has a crazy directory structure). With the one long clip, I can just adjust the speed (more than once if necessary) to make a conventional time lapse, but what I’d really like is to have a process that goes through the 24 hour file and skips 2 seconds, cuts 58 seconds, skips ahead two seconds, cuts 58 seconds, skips ahead two seconds, etc.  The result would be a time lapse of the storm but showing the full speed video and audio of many 2 second moments of the storm. I did something like this many years ago but had to do it manually which I don’t want to do.  Is there an automated process that will do this, or a keyboard shortcut or macro I could create and press 1000 times or something?  Thanks! John

I’m replacing archive screeners with high res when I receive them. 

Premiere - 25.3.0AfterEffects - 25.3.2Apple M2 Pro, OS Sequoia 15.5 (24F74)The [T] missing fonts icon appears even when the only font is installed and renders correctly and 'Sync Missing Fonts...' does nothing. I have Adobe Fonts turned off to ensure fonts I include with my mogrt all work and attach correctly. To narrow down this issue and find the offending font, I created a sample mogrt with two layers(a text layer and a solid) and an empty dropdown control. After installing the mogrt in Premiere, the [T] icon appears, indicating a missing font. The 'Sync Missing Fonts...' menu is not greyed out, but nothing happens when selecting it.  The only font used in the mogrt displays correctly in the Program Monitor when on the timeline.I have tried this with a number of fonts and variable fonts seem to trigger it more often than static fonts, but I cannot find reliable pattern.My intent is to sell my mogrts and I reallly want to avoid the perception of errors i

Why can't I add borders and shadows to graphic files (such as logos) in advanced graphics like I do with fonts? This was possible in older versions.
