Adobe Premiere

I've spent 3 days going through about 10 hours of interviews cutting and color-labeling sound bites in multicam sequences to correspond with chapters/subjects of the film I'm working on and this morning, when I opened my project, every sequence has reverted back to its original color. All of my labels are gone.I've tried restarting the project, I've tried toggling on the "show source clip name and label" , I've tried copying and pasting footage into a new sequence, which were all suggested on another post about this problem and none of these worked.Has anyone discovered a solution for this? I feel sick at the thought of going back through for another couple of days relabeling everything...(Premiere Pro 25, windows 11, 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H (2.70 GHz, 16GB RAM)ETA: I also went back to my last autosave from yesterday and the labels were in tact. I saved the file with a new name and with the file open, it reverted the colors back to default on most of the sequences.

I have a very specific workflow that really drags down Premiere, and I’m wondering if anyone else works the same way and has come up with a speedy workflow.I shoot mostly interviews on green screen using three cameras. When I go to edit, I composite each angle over the background, and then create a multi-cam sequence that contains each angle so I can “switch” between angles during the interview.This really bogs down Premiere. I have to hit “play” multiple times for it to start playing. If I have to adjust a cut, it takes forever, and then try to start playing again can take 10-45 seconds for the sequence to begin playing again. I have an otherwise fast machine. I’ve tried turning off FX while editing. This makes little difference because what seems to be happening is that Premiere is still factoring in the composited version in the background. In Premiere Pro 26.0.1, I have a multicam clip in the source monitor and I am doing transcript-based editing. If I go to the wrench on the source monitor and switch to composite video (to see only one camera), then I click in the text panel to jump to a point in the transcript, the video no longer moves to that point in the transcript. Scrolling and highlighting also stop working when in composite video view from a multicam clip.  If I then close the clip in the source monitor and reopen it, or reopen another multicam clip, and leave it in multicamera view, the text window still does not re-align with the video, and won;t let me navigate by clicking in the text.  The only way to get text-based editing to work again is to close Premiere, restart it, and stay in multicam mode.  This is very frustating because when doing my assembly, I just want to see the main camera in the source monitor not the other angles - I want to see their facial expression up close, not all the camera options. I create subtitles and save the preset as a style. Other properties apply to all subtitles on the track when I click ‘redefine style’. But when I move the position of the subtitles with the controls under ‘align and transform’, the position doesn’t apply to any other subtitles on the track, so I am having to manually move each subtitle which takes a very long time! I can’t find another way to apply the position to all subtitles at once.   Hey there!   I cannot for the life of me figure this out and I have scoured the preferences, settings and all the adobe forums looking for an answer, perhaps someone here knows the trick!   Formerly, I used to be able to zoom in and out of the timeline using Option+Mouse Scroll just fine. If I zoomed out all the way, the timeline would stay in a maximum-zoomed-out state. This was great because I could quickly zoom all the way out to the timeline with a quick scroll of the mouse and then navigate from there.   Now, all of a sudden, when I scroll zoom-out too quickly, it's as if the timeline gets to max zoom-out and then zooms right back in to Maximum zoom-in (Sorry for all the zooms!). This causes a infinte zoom out cycle. I'm not sure if this is a setting, a bug or something to do with my computer, but it doesn't seem to happen on every computer, nor does it happen on every project as far as I can tell!   Just wondering if anyone has seen this or knows whats

Dear allI have used video from an ipad, the video looks fine in the preview, when i export, i have the audio but a blank screen. After much co piloting it suggested the problem may be the source video and a variable frame rate. Dose anyone have any idea?  I am in the process of converting the video to CFR with handbrake, I lost a whole day yesterday thinking I could resolve this 🙄 Any ideas?

Why is it so fiddly to ask a question? I’m sure it never used to be this fiddly.That aside.I have a sequence after importing some 1920 x 1080 video files, I want to import some jpg images as stills for several seconds, they are 6720 x 4480, how can I import and keep the same dimensions as the originally imported videos?

After finding the pen masking tool, I tried creating a shape, but no visible indication. So I created a rectangle, which I have no indication is there other than I can move an invisible mask with no borders. My simple question is, how do I get the border of my mask to show?

I am color correcting individual clips to send to other editors. The source timecode is never included in the clips I am exporting as ProRes files despite having Metadata embedded and the source metadata set to “Preserve all.” Does anyone have an idea of how I can export the clips I color corrected as ProRes422 files which retain the source timecode (e.g. 16;56;54;25)? Every clip I export starts at “0.” For clarification, these clips have the exact same duration as their source because nothing about them is altered except for the color correction.I want to export otherwise identical clips with the source timecode I gave using my tentacle sync.

As the title states, when Live Streaming my edit with the Mercury Playback going to the Black Magic Streaming Encoder 4k, the image tears on the the live stream. Locally evrything is fine, but there is a weird handshake issue with the BMD Streaming Encoder and Premiere Pro.I tested the same setup with Davinci Resolve and everything worked flawlessly. I then tested the BMD Streaming Encoder 4k with my laptop and Premiere and the image tearing issue still persisted. The only quasi resolution was to force VSync in the nvidia control panel for premiere pro, but that caused other issues like screen blips on the live stream during scene changes.My timeline was at 23.98 for one project and 24 for another. I had issues with both. The BMD Streaming Encoder did match the timeline timebase of 23.98 or 24. When changing the BMD Streaming Encoder to 60hz, the horizontal image tering went away, but then playback juddered on the live stream because of the mismatch of timebase. I do not have this issu

I was experiencing dips and hollowness after cuts here and there, then i found that checking off the auto-tag fixed my issue. it seems like AI was trying to decide which audio track was voice or music/sound. since i had a specific recording that had a lot mixed together it made every time i cut warbly sound. I hate AI and i wish i could turn it off.

Issue - playback freezes for about 3-6 frames immediately before a simple cut in the sequence. When I open premier pro at initial launch or while switching workspaces, when I go back to the audio workspace and select audio mixer, the tab is blank, no faders, to track effects, nothing.I have to go to workspaces on the top drop down menu, select Audio Mixer to turn it off, and then click it again to turn it back on and that bring the mixer back into view with all faders and effects tabs showing.This bug is intermittent, but it happens once or twice a project. This also happens on both my M4 Macbook Pro and my Custom Built PC (4090, Intel)  

Premiere automatically replaces a deleted video file with another file with the same name found in other folders on the drive. More details. I was given two flash drives containing video from different cameras, even from different shooting days. But the file names in the folders are the same. Both are Sony cameras. The files in the first folder start with C001, and the files on the second flash drive also start with C001. I import these files into Premiere. All the files are in different folders. Each camera has its own Composition (Sequence). I start editing. I find the defective shots and immediately delete these files from the computer drive so they don't take up space. Previously, Premiere would immediately display an error that the file is now unavailable (it can't find the file), and Premiere would open a window asking me to find the file manually. I've been noticing several issues since upgrading to the latest mac OS, Tahoe 26.0. Aside from general bugs (timeline unresponsive to hitting spacebar/play, shutting down unexpectedly, general lagging), the biggest issue is I am unable to export my timeline. Both the keyboard shortcut, File > Export > Media, and the selecting Export option at the top of the program screen do not bring me to the Export menu. It only works when selecting File > Export > Send to Adobe Media Encoder. 

I made the mistake of upgrading my Mac Studio to MacOS Tahoe, and now Premiere is practically impossible to use. Playback is choppy with the program choking on any timeline with more than one clip / effect, and simple edits have crazy input lag. I know how to revert back to Sequioa, but I don't have a Time Machine backup before Tahoe so it seems pointless. Based on last year's Sequioa release, does anyone have an idea of when Adobe would release a patch to support the new MacOS? Will it be this year since they normally only release 5-6 updates and we're already at 25.5? Anyone else struggling with this and found any workarounds? DON'T UPDATE YET IF YOU HAVEN'T
