How do I revert the ripple edit tool back to how it worked before the recent 2026 updates? It used to be the case that if I wanted to trim something out from the start of a clip that was already on the timeline, and not have to lock any of the other tracks, I could just move my playhead to where I wanted the clip to start, then Ctrl/Cmd+Click on the current in-point of the clip, and then drag it to the playhead, where it would snap. Everything would stay exactly where it was until I’d let go of the mouse button. At which point the gap would close and everything on those tracks would ripple along. But now, since updating to 26.0.1, for some unknown reason, when I try to use the ripple edit tool in the same way, everything ripples across in real time, which makes it almost impossible to see where my desired in-point is, unless I first put a marker on the footage first (which even then sometimes doesn't work, because sometimes the markers disappear when the ripple tool is in use). Or, I just move the in-point to where I want it, then click the gap and delete it.I just don’t und
