Premiere is open, I click the icon in the Dock or CMD-TAB to it, and it doesn't become active. Premiere stays in front while the menu bar reflects that Finder is active. This doesn't happen when I use third party file viewers like Pathfinder. MacOS 13.6.9
The IssueOn macOS, when upgrading from one version of Premiere to another, the Frame.io panel will get stuck when attempting to log in.It won’t open your browser to the Frame.io authentication flow when you try to log in. The FixOur team is investigating the root cause of the issue. This is our number one priority for the Frame.io panel in Premiere. However, you don’t have to wait for us to get logged into Premiere. The WorkaroundIn the short-term, you can log into the Frame.io panel if you delete the authentication token that was created in a previous version of Premiere.Close Premiere Go to Keychain Access (not Passwords) Under ‘Login Items’, scroll down to ‘com.adobe.frameio.token’ Right-click the token and select ‘Delete’ If prompted, confirm you want to delete the token Re-open Premiere and log into the Frame.io panel
Windows 11 PRO 25h2Premiere 25.6.5File search is not working in the Project section, Graphics Templates, and the Premiere Composer plugin. It can't find footage, sounds, or images. Even if the filename contains only a number, such as 2. I know there's a file named 2 in the project, but the search can't find it. The same goes for all the other files. How can I find the files I need in a project when there are hundreds of them? I just updated to the new version of the program today, and nothing has changed. Searching for these files works in DaVinci Resolve, so there's nothing wrong with the files. And since the files are in different languages, language can also be ruled out as a potential issue
I’m trying to render a few small sections of my timeline (<30secs) but it refuses to render and just sits there with the render bar not moving (all night!). Some clips contain object masks but I’ve removed these and it still happens. I reset the preferences and cleared the cache and it rendered a few that it wouldn't render before but then stopped again. It’s like it's getting ‘clogged up’ somewhere and can only cope with with a certain amount. It also won’t export so this is an urgent bug fix request! My system is:timeline: 23.976 fps, 4096x2160, ProRes422.Version 26.02 (build 2)MAC: MAC STUDIO 2023 M2 MAX 96GB TAHOE 26.3.1 (a)Sandisk Pro Graid 80Tb shuttle 4
Using MOGRT in Timeline and changes e.g. text value. "Render and Replace" renders .mov-File with default values! After "Restore Unrendered" and again "Render an Replace" rendered .mov-File is correct. Using MOGRT multiply times in timeline "Render an Replace" always use same filename (not increasing) and replace files thats leads to error retrieving frames. Steps to reproduce: Import MOGRT via Graphics Templates-Panel multiple times to Timeline Change e.g. text value Render and Replace (Source: Sequnece, Format: Quicktime, Prest: Match Source - Apple ProRes444, Location: Next to Original Media) - select clip for clip (not selct mulitple clips) Result: Renderd .mov-File shows wrong (default) values, all rendered .movs gets same filename, error retrieving frame Expected result: Rendered .mov-File show right values, multiple files gets increasing filenaming Bug exists in Version 25.5 and still in Beta 25.6.0 (74) not in Version 25.3 System: Mac Studio 2023 (M2 Max)
Bug ReportWhen using the Typewriter effect from Film Impact inside Adobe Premiere Pro, the effect does not behave correctly on text containing a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters. Expected behaviorThe text should appear one character at a time in sequence, regardless of whether the text uses uppercase letters, lowercase letters, or a combination of both. Actual behaviorWhen the text is written in all uppercase, the effect works correctly and reveals the letters one by one as expected. However, when the text contains a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, the animation breaks. The first part of the text appears all at once instead of being typed character by character. In my case, the first two words or sentences are shown instantly. The behavior also seems to vary depending on the font used. Some very basic fonts do not work correctly, while some more complex fonts unexpectedly do work. However, based on my testing, the issue clearly appears to be related to mixed capitalization
I’ve never noticed this before, and I am following the same edit technique for 20 years. My workaround is to only adjust the clip on the right. I should mention that the clip on the left is using the remix funtion. The remix function (which still needs a litle work) got me close to what I wanted, but didn’t end the track where it needed to end, so I cut the end of the remix track and added the end of the un-remixed track where it needed to be. I’ve been customizing the ends of my videos like this for as long as the remix function has been offered, but I’ve never had an issue like this before.
Comparison View Slider on left panel is not working inlatest download 25.6.2 on Windows 11 Pro. You can select Next and Previous buttons to go to the head of each edit, but that's it. It worked in prior versions.
Version of the appv24.x v25.5.0Platform and OS versionMacOS 15.4, also Win10 I thinkBasic steps to reproduce the problemWhen doing multichannel exports it is often useful to have Loudness normalisation on the full mix of the export. The 'process' checkbox, if unchecked, should bypass loudness normalisation for that stream. Setup multichannel sequence with 8 outputs. Export 8ch (e.g. WAV) with LU set to normalize on Stereo stream 1 only (i.e. channels 1&2)Expected result and actual resultExpected -A1&2 normalized to LU setting (and loudness report xml to indicate that the other streams are not processed).Actual -ALL streams are normalized to LU setting (and loudness report indicates they are processed). It does work as expected for 4 channel sequences.XML for 8ch: <Stream ChannelCount="2" Index="0" Processed="true"><Stream ChannelCount="2" Index="1" Processed="true"><Stream ChannelCount="2" Index="2" Processed="true"><Stream ChannelC
I often use "Maximize Panel Under Cursor" with the text panel (working on a 14" laptop), but instead of centering on the highlighted transcript, it often jumps to a random section. This makes it really difficult to stay focused on the part I’m working on.
Hello everybody,I’m experiencing a persistent issue when exporting my project in ProRes from Premiere Pro: a green vertical line appears on the right edge of the video.Details:Premiere Pro version: 25.5OS / Hardware: MacBook Pro M3 Max / macOS 13.5, Sequoia 15Sequence settings: 2500x1500, standard frame rate of 25 fps (match source), no adjustment layers or effects that could cause thisExport settings tested:ProRes MOV (422, 422 HQ, LT) → green line appearsProRes MXF OP1a → green line appearsMedia Encoder export → same resultH.264 export → line does not appear Troubleshooting steps attempted: Checked sequence dimensions and confirmed they match standard formats.Tried different ProRes variants (LT, 422, HQ) and both MOV and MXF containers.Exported via Media Encoder instead of direct Premiere export.Considered cropping 1 pixel on the right (temporary workaround, but not acceptable for master quality). The line only appears in ProRes exports, not H.264. This seems like
For a little while now on the v25.4 beta I've been experiencing an issue when rendering sequences. Usually to prores (with alpha), but have also encountered it less frequently attempting to render to h264/5.I'll try to render out a sequence and it will do seemingly nothing for anywhere from 10-30s then pop up with an error similar to the one I've attached below. The error below was generated by a sequence that contained nothing but a text element with the sapphire ultraglow effect appliedThis issue does not occur if I hold shift during boot and set software only rendering, nor does it occur on v25.01. v25.4 (build 38)2. Windows 11 | 10.0.22631 build 22631 - rtx 4080 (latest studio drivers), amd 7900x, 96gb ram, working off an ssd3. I haven't completely locked down the pattern yet, but I seem to be running into it with sapphire's UltraGlow (latest version) a lot, but as noted previous versions of premiere do not encounter the issue with the exact same sequence, and disabling gpu renderi
There seems to be a bug in Premiere 2024 (latest update) where when I import a .scc file originally created in Telestream Caption Maker, and have music symbols around lyrics of a concert, a lot of the closing music note symbols around lyrics are not there, causing me to have to replace them. They are in the original caption and .scc files before importing into Premiere. Very time consuming and irratating to have to replace these! This has happened on two separate concerts I have captioned in Premiere.Thanks-
Hey everyone, ive been trying to export an embbeded AAF file to my sound designer, however whenever i run the export process i keep getting this error message:"Cannot embed audio source "File path" because an error occurred when writing essence data. Premiere ASL error number: -2147286767." so far ive tried:1) Render and Replace all the audio on the timeline2) transcode each channel seperately into WAV3) remove transitions and effects or render with audio clip effects4) exporting with complete files5) change the bit and sample to 16\24 and 48\96KHz6) checking the tape names box7) copying the info to a new timeline😎 compying the info into a completely new Premiere project but nothing seems to be working.the only thing the works is when i export the AAF with Seperated files instead of Embedded.the sound designer really preferes to work on an embedded file, and i see no reason for it not to work, but so far cant fix it. can anyone please help?thanks in advance!
Nell'ultima versione Pr la forma d'onda della traccia audio non corrisponde con l'audio effettivo, diventando così inutilizzabile
Product: Adobe Premiere Pro 2026Category: Sequence / Nesting / Adjustment LayersType: Bug / Inconsistent behavior Summary:When moving content between sequences, Premiere Pro handles adjustment layers inconsistently depending on the method used. Dragging a nested sequence into another timeline preserves all adjustment layers, while copying and pasting the same content does not include them.
The animated glow and bright blue-ish color no longer appears as the graphics fade in from a blur. It is clear that several core effects have been discontinued, but this has only left a broken architecture. Resorting to the prior version(s) of Premiere only results in crashes and seized processes. SInce I pay handsomely for the full license every year, I am not pleased that Adobe has so thoroughly fractured a core product line. Please restore your prior effects or repair your interface. The current state of your applications are nearly zero value for the stiff price I have already paid.
I'm trying to do a rough cut of two rough cuts lol meaning I am importing.MP for files just to play around with a couple of options to show my editor and both have the following audio codec MPEG-4 AAC, 48000 Hz and when I drag and drop the MP4's into the import bin, there's no audio at all. I have tried to Transcode them as well honestly, about 100 times with various settings using Shutter Encoder and nothing works. I have the same issue every single time I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I'm losing my mind
When in the Essentials workspace, in the Lumetri Colour Panel on the rightside, there are times when I am using the Curves Graph and it just stops allowing me to make changes. My mouse can’t grab onto the graph. The only way to continue editing is to swtich to the colour workspace.
Hi, I know that the title implies I should post it on BorisFX forums (which I also did), but I’d post here too since Adobe should cooperate with BorisFX in order to solve their common problem. The problem lies in insane performance drop when BorisFX plugins are used in Premiere Pro. Here’s a screenshot of a single BCC Film Glow:Just one property is animated with 3 keyframes, and the timeline shows this already:In a FHD sequence with a 8-bit 420 4K clip in h264. I can assure you that the long-gop here is not the problem. I have a 14700K-RTX-4080-64Gb PC which plays back 9 physical copies of this staff with no frame drops but a single BorisFX effect nails my system down. And it happens with any BFX effect. I have no problems with any other third-party plugins, Film Impact here can even be used in batches and no playback issues at all. But BFX are just the worst performers, any of them. And I checked the same BFX plugins in Davinci and magically there are no issues there. All the BorisFX ef
When I go to the export screen, the whole editing interface goes black. The buttons are still there and I am able to export by remembering where the "Export" button is from past projects, but I have no visuals to see where it's exporting to, what quality etc. I have tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere, with no luck so far.
One of our editors updated a project from 2025 to 2026 and nothing using mp3s works. I've encountered this problem quite a few times over the years as well. Can't relink any MP3 files or drop new ones in - "the importer reported a generic error"
Several transition effects are now showing a red line with the message that the effect requires GPU acceleration. It's strange that it doesn't appear in the timeline, but in the exported video, the darn red line indicates GPU acceleration. I'm using the latest Studio driver, version 595.79, for my RTX 5060ti.
