Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? When I assign the "3" key to a zoom shortcut, it doesn't work. For example: fit, zoom to fit, zoom in, zoom out, in all iterations -- ie program monitor, source monitor, or system-wide in the case of "fit." In previous versions of Premiere (2021-2024), I have assigned 1 to zoom in on source/program monitors, 2 to zoom out, and 3 to zoom to fit. Yet in 2025, while other keys will perform the function when I assign them to that shortcut, the "3" key will not do anything.  My workflow uses this a lot, and I've had to modify it, but would love to be able to use that "3" key to zoom to fit again.  Steps:1. Premiere Pro-> Keyboard shortcuts2. Assign the "3" key to View->Magnification->Fit (or Zoom Program Monitor to Fit, or Zoom Source Monitor to Fit, or Program Monitor Panel-> Zoom in/out, or Source Monitor Panel-> Zoom Monitor In/out.3. I am struggling to move captions from one track to another for different styling. I began being able to freely move one speakers captions onto their own track, then all of a sudden I was not able to move them, only for when I tried to drag an drop the caption, it would open a new track and place the caption on there. Then I found that some would be able to be moved around. I then restarted PP as this is usually a way to make it behave. Didn't work. I then restarted the machine. Didn't do anything. Checked I have the latest PP, didn't, updated and this hasn't fixed the issue.  Please see the attached video for reference.  

Issue:When using fullscreen playback (via Mercury Transmit) on a secondary monitor, Premiere Pro shows a white outline around any scaled-down or masked video/graphic layer. This white outline also appears on the Program Monitor during real-time playback. Hello. I think this is a question for @mattchristensen We're making the jump from Premiere 2023 to Premiere 2025. A two minute, ProRes 4444XQ file takes 27 seconds to scene edit detect in 2023. It takes over five minutes to complete in Premiere 2025.These are Windows machines running Premiere 25.3.NVIDIA RTX A5000 GPU Cards.I noticed GPU usage is about 15% whene scene edit detecting on Premiere 2025, and only 3% on Premiere 2023.Help!

When using Transitions in Premiere, such as Cross Dissolve, I now often get 1 black frame at the end of the transition. I keep getting error messages when rendering the movie. It doesn't matter whether I use Apply Default Transition with a right click of the mouse or via Sequence - Apply Video Transition. Is this a bug in version 24.2.1 or is there something else going on?

Hi everyone,For a while now (last 2 updates at least) I've noticed that sometimes while monitoring a timeline, the audio drops out completely for 2 seconds, then comes back, so to be clear, press spacebar to play at normal speed, audio/video begins for 2 seconds, drops out for 2 seconds, then comes back and plays correctly.This doesn't occur all the time, but I haven't been able to nail down a specific action that causes it.I thought it may be an issues with the sound card, but it happens on my home PC as well.Thanks,

Audio Sync has been failing repeatedly in Premiere Pro lately with the absurd "can't find a match" error message).  I've tried deleting Media Cache, that doesn't work.  I tried making every file .WAV in media encoder that doesn't work (even though it worked perfectly fine with MP3s before).  The big proof is that it failed when one track has the vocals only and the other had music with the exact same vocals mixed in.  I've synched scores of tracks just like this with a lot worse quality and it worked.  Please fix this, it's a crucial feature for me.  

I have a 3 monitor setup (see attched image) all connected to my Nvidia GPU. The two on the right are 3840 res using Windows 11 scaling to 150%. However my left monitor is only 1080 so it needs to be set to 100% scaling. When using mercury playback for the far right monitor, it will merge with the center. I know the issue is my left screen and mismatch of scaling, BUT it's a 1080 screen that needs to stay in 100% scaling. If I remove any panels from that side and minimize/,maximize PP, the mercury playback outputs correctly to just the single screen like it should. I am hoping to bring awareness to this so that it can hopefully get resolved for us users who want to take advantage of the screen space and using different resolution monitors. 

I’m working with transcripts in Premiere Pro 25.2.3 on Windows 11 and using the Text panel to clean up filler words (e.g., “um,” “uh,” etc.). Whenever I filter for filler words — or even just use the search bar — Premiere automatically jumps to the next instance as soon as I make an edit on the timeline or in the transcript.This behavior is incredibly disruptive. I need to:Review the impact of my edit in context,Possibly adjust timing, or undo something quickly,Or even just pause and think for a moment —…but instead, Premiere immediately skips to the next result like I’m on a speedrun.This makes deliberate editing impossible and leads to mistakes or missed opportunities to refine the cut. Hello. I've created a project with a text element saying "Goal 2:00" which acts as a mask to a grain background texture of white-grey color. I want the "2:00" part of the text to be red, so I apply a Tint effect to transform white into red, and apply a mask to the effect to cover only the "2:00" part of the text. All of this is done using Essential Graphics.Then, on the main sequence, I add the text on top of a blue background, and add a reversed slide transition that makes the text appear from right to left. When I do this, the final render creates a black artifact moving across the screen, which corresponds *almost exactly* to the mask of the tint effect:This black artifact is visible in the Premiere preview window *only sometimes*. I have a team project where all file names have been copied and renamed due to duplicate names. I have the old footage on my drive and don't want to delete it until I know that all files work (premiere gave me issues with some of them).I just tried to reconnect all of the hundreds of clips. For the first clips, Premiere Pro found the correct files in the folder after I clicked the first one. But the the majority, I had to go over each single clip and connect it "by hand". Each time I clicked search, it immediately found the file with the corresonding name. It just didnt want to connect it automatically.After this long and tedious process, I just noticed that premiere pro began to connect to the old files again without my consent. Now, all the files are connected to the wrong files again.Why? It doesn't make any sense and it drives me mad.Why would it reconnect to some other file although the file has already been linked?I also noticed that onedrive began to download files for some

Premiere 25.2.1 Build 2 - Speed change issues have plagued premiere for a long time but this latest took me over the edge. The problem happens when trying to replicate frame exact speed changes when conforming a project by taking it from proxies to online resolution. AFAIK speed ramps have never been totally frame accurate but now this affects also linear speed changes. This is a huge problem when having to create frame accurate online versions of projects that get a/b checked for quality by clients such as studios. Here is a simple example from this weekend: A clip with a linear speed change of 175 %. The clip gets replaced with an almost identical version (same length, same time code, just higher resolution). The new clip is at 175% but the frames are not identical. It's a short clip of under 10 frames, so rounding errors should be minimal but what really gets me is - the start frame is off. Hey guys, I’m using the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro and I’ve noticed an issue with the automatic filler word removal feature.When I generate an English transcript using the built-in Speech to Text tool, filler words like “uh,” “um,” and “you know” are detected and I can easily remove them using the Delete button from the Transcript panel.However, when working with Italian transcriptions, Premiere correctly identifies filler words (they appear as “[…]”), but the Delete button is greyed out and I can’t remove them automatically.This is very inconvenient because I often work with content in Italian and would love to streamline the editing process just like I do with English.Questions:• Is this feature currently only supported for English?• Is there a workaround to enable filler word removal in Italian?• If not yet available, is there a plan to support this for other languages, or can this be submitted as a feature request?Thanks in advance!

My Premiere Pro is updated to the latest version. I usually edit 1080p 50fps videos and have edited quite heavy content on my current laptop (ASUS Zenbook) which is new by the way. I don't know what's wrong but recently after opening Premiere for a couple of minutes it starts to freeze and a pop up screen would appear to send/don't send report and my Premiere has to force shut. However everytime I open back Premiere, the interface runs smoothly, no lag but somehow would freeze for a second after a few minutes and my Premiere would crash. I also tried clearing the cache, third party plugins, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works.   On a side note: I tried opened Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Figma and Photoshop at the same time and everything seems to be working well. I’ve been trying to edit a super simple video for the past three weeks, just basic cuts, no effects, and Premiere won’t work. Every time I open the project, it runs for a few seconds and then completely freezes. Sometimes it goes “not responding” and I have to force quit. Other times it stays open but nothing works. I can’t open the source monitor, can’t switch workspaces properly, and the timeline doesn’t respond.I formatted my PC, reinstalled Premiere several times in different languages, started new projects from scratch, tried importing the old one, cleared all caches and plugins, upgraded to 32GB RAM. Nothing changes.It’s only Premiere. Everything else on the PC works fine. The videos were recorded on an Insta360 camera, normal resolution. I’ve edited way heavier files before and never had problems like this.At this point I can’t even take screenshots because the app freezes so quickly. I have no idea what else to do. Over the past years, I've become extremely frustrated with Premiere. The only thing that's kept me hanging on (by a thread at this point) is the suite of products that I have been using for decades. I'm tempted to switch to Resolve daily now though.  I guess I'll share my most recent struggles with Premiere...1) I made the swtich to use Premiere Beta - since that is the only version of Premiere that seems to playback our new Canon R5c RAW footage in a way that doesn't make you want to scream. Seems like Adobe has acknowledged that they're addressing the issue, but in true Premiere fashion, way too slowly. This happened with BRAW footage too. Took Adobe WAY too long to support that format. 2) In Premiere Beta, audio playback has all kinds of issues. AUDIO PLAYBACK! What. On. Earth. Hasn't this been functional forever? How did this break? I’m using a MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip. When I started editing my first video in Premiere Pro — a simple 4K 10-bit S-Log video — I noticed that the performance was lagging, even though I only added four text layers. I checked the CPU usage and found it to be low, doesn't go above 20% but the video is so lagging specail after using replace with after effect option to make and effect for part of the video so I’m not sure why Premiere Pro is struggling with such a basic project or my new mac have problem??
