Update 2, 12/13/25: See staff post indicating that this is fixed without updating the PR version: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/p-25-6-2-missing-text-panel-empty-uxp-panels/idc-p/15630125#M59800 To test, you only need to open the stock panel: Window -> New Adobe stock. It should load with content. If it does not, and hangs with the spinning circle frozen, post back here. The workarounds should still be working if you have any issues. Update 12/3/25: This update is based on my tests as of this morning. This does not appear fixed by updating to 25.6.3. This bug report focused on workspaces and the text panel. The list of symptoms is longer. There is another long thread that focuses on failure of export commands:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/p-premiere-pro-won-t-export-ui-frozen-need-help/idi-p/15608051 Trigger: For some users, when the Adobe Stock panel is open, whether it is in focus or not, after 10-15 seconds, it fails to load and causes on
Hi everyone,I'm running into an issue in the new version of Adobe Premiere Pro where I’m unable to change the sequence timebase. When I go into Sequence Settings and modify the Timebase (for example, changing it from 60 fps to 23.976 fps), the change does not take effect. After clicking OK, the sequence continues behaving as if the original timebase is still active. If I reopen Sequence Settings, both the Timebase and Display Format have reverted to their previous values. My current workaround has been to create a brand new sequence from scratch and then copy and paste everything from the original sequence into it. This works, but it becomes very cumbersome when we need to adapt sequences to vertical formats and already have multiple audio tracks with effects applied.Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known bug or a workflow workaround to permanently change the sequence timebase? Thanks in advance for any help.Best,Facundo
Some combinations of letters result in unreadable text when editing transcripts.1. Create a Transcript form a source2. Edit the text in the Text panel, and type a word with double Ts or double Fs - like Trainspotting or Scaffolding.3. This creates unreadable text, with substituted letters. See images.4. When you exit the editing mode for the text, it looks normal again. This makes it hard to know what you've been typing.Adobe Premiere 26.0 and 25.x
I have an audio issue that is baffling me; perhaps someone else has encountered it and knows what's at play. I recently shot a multicam project where the A-Cam was my Canon C70, shooting in XF-AVC, YCC422 10-bit 4K. System frequency was 59.94 Hz, audio was set to LPCM, 24-bit, 48kHz, which gives 4-channels of audio, though active audio was only passing to channels 1-2 (ch 3-4 were recording dead air). TC was fed via BNC on the A-Cam (i.e. we were not striping an audio channel with TC). The B-cam was irrelevant, as it's not giving us the problem (but was also XF-AVC, etc., etc.) At the conclusion of shooting, we checked playback of each camera for audio and video playback; all was good. We also previewed the files using Canon's XF Utility on the laptop; again all is good. When bringing the files into Premiere Pro and preparing the multicam sequence, there is NO audio showing for any channel of the C70 footage! I have tried the Audio Channels / Interpret Footage; tri
I recently started using the latest version of Premiere Pro and while using it to drag and drop still images and audio, the timeline stops working. Restarting the app works for a few seconds, but the Timeline continues to freeze. Everything else in Premiere Pro is semi-responsive, except for being able to play the timeline. Hi Adobe Community, I've run into a strange issue in Premiere Pro 25.6.3 where the "Make A Copy" function in the Production panel is causing projects to get created with duplicate IDs. These are not projects being copied in the file explorer, these are being copied in the production panel inside premiere pro with the production open. This didn't seem to happen in previous versions of Premiere, but it's happening with every single new copy of a project in this new version. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug, or something I'm doing wrong? I've tried it with projects open and projects closed, and tried even scrapping projects in the production and making them fresh and even copies of those trigger the duplicate ID error and get added to the duplicate ID list. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi there, When using a shortkey (command + L for example) to relink media, it does not work anymore. I can only relink mediafiles using the manual (right mouse click) way. Before it worked perfectly. Since a particular version in 25. it doesn't work anymore.
After importing a photoshop file into your premiere project, none of the files can be replaced. When attempting to "replace footage" with a different file, the original still remains.
I write text and it immediately disappears. It becomes invisible. Sometimes Premiere closes when I am working with text. Windows 11. I've been working with this font for a long time and have never had any problems.
Hello Adobe Support, Today my Adobe Premiere Pro application was updated to version 26.0. After the update, the application is now displayed entirely in English, even though my default language in Creative Cloud is set to Spanish. Before this update, Premiere Pro was working correctly in Spanish. I have not changed any language or region settings in Creative Cloud, and other Adobe applications are still showing in Spanish as expected. It seems that Premiere Pro 26.0 is no longer respecting the Creative Cloud language preference, or that the update reset or ignored the language configuration. I have already checked:Creative Cloud > Preferences > Language (set to Spanish)System language (Spanish) Despite this, Premiere Pro continues to open in English. Please let me know how to force Premiere Pro to use the Creative Cloud language setting again or how to reinstall the Spanish language pack for version 26.0. Thank you for your assistance.
Meidia Intelligence's audio search has a bug: after importing more than a certain number of audio files, importing additional audio files will result in the new audio files not being searched at all.

I'm at a loss. I haven't been able to use Premiere Pro 2025 at all since it was released, and 2026 doesn't work either. 2025 lags incredibly badly and takes about 20 mins to boot up each time, and 2026 doesn't work at all. I've tried it on two different computers with different specs and still no luck. Did a complete reinstall on both of them as well. All of these tests were using 1080p footage at 23.976 just to try and get something to work across both computers and software. Everything was working fine until around Novemberish of last year, I could edit and scrub through 4k log footage with no issues, then the lag started coming in. This issue made me loose my temper for it happened just before I was gonna finish my project in a very tight deadline. The issue: Premiere Pro Effect controls window looses focus under certain circumstances. How to reproduce:- Create a multicam sequence.- Place it on the main timeline.- Double-click on the Multicam to send it into the Source monitor (Adobe, why does double-clicking on a multicam send it to the Source viewer, but douple-clicking on a Nest open it?! When will this disgrace be fixed?!).- Go inside the multicam (while the multicam sequence is still in the Source viewer).- Try to color-grade or change any motion effects for any clip. This is what you will see: Win 11 24h2, RTX 4080, 14700K, 64 Gb of Ram, Premiere Pro 25.6.3
Since recent Premiere Pro updates, I’m experiencing significant lag and overshoot when adjusting UI controls. IssueIn a Production, using Automate to Sequence copies clips into the destination project instead of referencing the original project that contains the media. Steps to reproduce Create a Production. Create Project A and import media into it. Create Project B and create an empty sequence. Open Project B and make the sequence active in the Timeline. Open Project A, select clips in the Project panel. Choose Clip > Automate to Sequence and complete the operation. Expected resultClips placed into the sequence in Project B should reference the media in Project A, consistent with normal Productions behaviour. Actual resultPremiere Pro duplicates the clips into Project B, creating new project-local instances of the media instead of referencing Project A. Hey.I've been working with Premiere Pro for more than 4 years and since 2025 I've had a very annoying problem which persists even on my new laptop bought in late 2025.Whenever I use the program for more than 20 minutes it starts to lag a lot. Or, whenever I speed up video playback (L), it starts lagging, as you can see in the video. I really don't want to switch to Final Cut Pro, but the same projects I have for Premiere run smoothly and perfectly there with no issues. Please help out if you can. 1. Premiere version 24.2.1 (Build 2) - but every version lags (even the latest one!) 2. Brand new MacBook Pro M4 Max, 36 GB Ram, MacOS Sequoia 15.6.13. I've used proxies AND preview files to deload CPU/GPU usage and problem still persists4. Unfortunately, I don't use ANY effects so I'm basically having issues with two 5-minute H.264 videos which should be a piece of cake for my laptop.
I just installed the LATEST Premiere Update to 26.0.0I am now unable to add Video clips to an Existing Project AND to NEW Projects after the 1st Video clip is added. Hand Cursor with a Circle and Line appears.I rebooted PC, tried numerous existing projects, created multiple NEW Projects, the same issue persists.I can add Multiple Audio Clips, anywhere within the project, I just cant add Video clips.
Hello everyone,I've been trying all day to get my Adobe Premiere to work but no success. I have Windows 11 with newest updates and Nvidia RTX4090 with latest Studio driver 591.74. I tried Premiere 26.0 and older versions. It always crashes on startup. Right now it is 25.6.2Things I tried:1. Removed all Adobe programs and Creative Cloud and installed a fresh version2. tried starting Premiere with pressed Alt Key and deleted all profiles and cache3. installed newest drivers from Nvidia I really need Premiere to finish my work and I have no more ideas what to do.
This is so frustrating and has happened twice in the last month. I've no idea why it happened the first time, I assume this last time it was because of Premiere updating. Even then, I don't think it's supposed to do that and there should at least be a warning before it updates (I didn't even know it was going to update today). Anyway, you're supposed to be able to get old shortcuts back, which I've tried by putting my backup shortcuts file into my current Adobe folder on my desktop, this has done absolutely nothing. My backup file is currently inside the Mac folder inside the Profile-username folder within my main Adobe folder. I've got really urgent projects due and this completely messes everything up when I'm trying to get work done quickly. Is there any solution?
Safe margins are blown way off in full screen mode. Makes the whole margin system untrustable if it doesn't lock in properly.. 9x16 margins in full screen mode9x16 margins in regular UI mode
After updating the Premiere version, OGG files are no longer supported for import
When i use project manager to save my original files to another folder it is not sending the files i selected. Instead its sending my entire memory card. Also it is creating sub folders for each individual clip.
