I’m on a MBP M2 Max using the latest version of PrP 26.5.2A number of times now I have exported my sequence using AME and the background video of a graphic/still has not rendered on export. Usually these backgrounds are duplicates of stills that are scaled up with a gaussian blur effect applied in order to provide background for a vertical picture or graphic (see attached pict). This was not happening in previous versions of Premiere.
1. Open Keyboard Shortcuts and assign "A" (no modifiers) to Sequence > Zoom In.2. Open a sequence and drag any clip along the timeline with the Selection Tool.3. The timeline zooms in during the drag.Expected: The timeline zoom level should only change when the shortcut key is actually pressed. What I tested:- With "A" removed from Zoom In, the same drag doesn't zoom. The issue comes back as soon as "A" is reassigned.- "A" has no other unmodified assignment, so there's no shortcut conflict.- Adding a second shortcut to Zoom In didn't help.- Removing Shift+A from Track Select Backward Tool didn't help.-Adding another Zoom In shortcut other than ‘’A’’ worked but i prefer ‘’A’’I use "A" for Zoom In in my daily editing, so I'd like to keep this mapping. Could you please look into it?Thanks.
Premiere Pro Version: 26.5.2Operating System: macOS Tahoe 26.5Issue:All camera angle previews in Multi-Camera View turn completely black during specific sections of the same multicam sequence, while other sections display normally. The affected sections range from approximately 5 to 30 seconds.Expected Result:All available camera angles should display normally throughout the multicam sequence.Actual Result: All angle previews simultaneously turn black during certain time ranges. Nine or more video clips are present and overlapping in some affected sections. Disabling Multi-Camera View restores normal video display. Switching camera angles still works. Final exports are unaffected. Other sections of the exact same multicam sequence display normally. Troubleshooting Attempted: Restarting Premiere Pro Enabling and disabling Multi-Camera View Enabling and disabling proxies Reconnecting original media and proxies Disabling and re-enabling clips Testing the multicam source
I've just noticed that my sequence settings preview file format keeps falling back to Quicktime ProRes 422 LT, no matter what I try to do to change it. Even new sequences with custom settings — selecting any other codec will be ignored and will fall back to QT PR 422 LT when the sequence settings is reopened.
The levels effect and the wipe effect which I use a lot in my project have stopped rendering in media encoder. Here is a project the reproduces both in a nice simple way. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M4Jui0KusPwPMMQJ_BmF95Jof7E-lGsK/view?usp=share_linkI previously used wipes all the time to crop an animation but be unaffected by motion. I could use a nested sequence for each one, but it would be a lot. It would be nice if we could make track mat or masks optionally unaffected by motion or transform on an asset… then I wouldn’t have ever done this ;-)The work around for the levels is to use Lumetri Color… which seems to be better supported. Just broke stuff all over my ancient project I started in 2002 ;-).
Issue: In Adobe Premiere Pro 2026, audio waveform generation after importing clips into the timeline is extremely slow. Even on high‑performance systems, it takes a long time before the waveform appears, delaying the start of editing.Impact: This causes workflow interruptions, especially when working with multiple audio files or compressed formats like MP3.Tried Fixes: Clearing media cache, converting audio to WAV, enabling multithreaded waveform generation, and updating drivers — but the delay persists.Request: Looking for a reliable way to speed up waveform display or confirmation if this is a known bug in Premiere Pro 2026.
I am using Adobe Premiere version 26.5.2. Whenever I attempt to export a video that includes content created with AI, a "Validating ingredients" box appears. Even though it reaches 100%, it takes an additional 5 to 10 minutes before the actual export process begins—a very long wait. I recently updated to version 26.5.2. This appears to be a mandatory feature imposed by Adobe Premiere; however, it should not be compulsory. Users should have the choice of whether or not to validate AI-generated content. What is the point of optimizing workflows, using a high-end graphics card, and having plenty of RAM if I am forced to endure such a long delay due to an "ingredient validation" process that the system runs without my authorization? Please fix this issue.

Hallo!
CRITICAL BUG:Select a clip Select a trim point using cmd/ctrl + lasso tool Nudge left or rightExpected result: TRIM moves left or rightActual result: PREVIOUSLY SELECTED CLIP moves left or rightThis happens every time on the latest Premiere on both Mac and PC, it even happens when clips are selected out of view leading to blind mistakes that are easy to miss in QA checks, creating flash frames and sync issues that might sneak into broadcast.[Moved to Adobe Premiere by a moderator]
Adobe Premiere Pro Bug Report — Severe Memory LeakTitle: Severe Memory Leak in Premiere Pro 26.5.1 and Premiere Pro 27 Beta on Apple SiliconI am experiencing a severe memory-usage problem in the newer versions of Premiere Pro on my Mac Studio.I tested the same large Premiere project across different Premiere versions. The difference is dramatic:Premiere Pro 26.5: approximately 24 GB RAM Premiere Pro 27 Beta: approximately 60–65 GB RAM Updated stable version: memory has climbed as high as 115 GB, eventually causing severe slowdown/unresponsiveness.After downgrading to Premiere Pro 26.5, I opened the same project on the same Mac Studio. Premiere initially used approximately 24.4 GB, with memory pressure remaining green. This strongly suggests that the extreme memory consumption is related to the newer Premiere versions rather than simply the size of the project or the computer.Project informationThe project is unusually large, containing approximately 10,660 project items and 3,326 seque
R3D proxies show a gamma shift when attached to the original R3D clip. The same proxy file looks correct when imported as a standalone clip. The issue occurs in Premiere Pro 26.0.2 and 26.5.1, even with Color Management disabled, while Premiere Pro 2025 displays the same R3D and proxy correctly.Steps to reproduce:Import an R3D clip into Premiere Pro. Create or import a proxy that visually matches the R3D source when viewed as a standalone clip. I tested proxies generated both in DaVinci Resolve and Media Encoder/Premiere Pro. Compare the R3D and the proxy as separate clips: gamma/contrast match correctly. Attach that same proxy file to the R3D using Proxy > Attach Proxies. Enable Toggle Proxies. The attached proxy now shows a visible gamma/contrast shift compared with the original R3D. Detach/import the exact same proxy as a normal standalone clip and it displays correctly again.Additional information:Reproduced in Premiere Pro 26.0.2 and 26.5.1. The same R3D and proxy combination w
When importing AAF files created by Media Composer some fail with a message that the file is invalid, however when opening [filename].AAF the error message is for [filename].pproj. It appears that the wrong parser is being invoked. This happens in Premiere Pro 25.x through to 2026.5.2. The current Beta version seems to be OK.
Normal behaviour: Before delivering the final edit to my clients, i usually export the txt from all graphics on the timeline and send them by email for them to check the correct names, titles and function descriptions. I use the graphics panel and the function under the top right three dots … This exports a .txt or a .csv file with all the text. Bug: The second line of the txt is not exported. See screenshot. The words "Samenwerkingscoach, alliantiemanager, Ingenieur” are missing. These were all second lines. The are also missing in the .csv file
Hello, When I select multiple clips and insert or overwrite them into a timeline, Premiere ignores any patch selection and always adds the video and audio to the V1 and A1 tracks, even if I have audio turned off. If I drag the clips, it will obey which track I drag the clips into, but will ignore disabling audio patching and bring the audio with the clips. I am currently using Premiere 24 on Mac OS 14.6.1, but have encountered this issue for many, many versions (at least going back to 18).
i updated to MAC OS to 27 Golden Gate on a M$ MAC Mini and lost all of my audio plugins, even the Apple pre-installed ones. I noticed they were offline in a project I was working on so I tried to re-scan for them. When I tried to re-scan I got the spinning beach ball of death. It would just hang and then when it came back on-line there was nothing poulated in the plug-in window.so i tried: restting Plugin Loading Cache, Cleared all the media cache, tried reseting all app preferences. I installed Rosetta 2.I removed all of the plugins I had, which at the time were only two, Waves Clarity FX, and Izotope Elements 8. I uninstalled Izotope since it was a bit dated and updated Waves Calrity to the latest version which says its capatible with OS 27.Tried again to scan and nothing, again including all the Apple plugins. The directories were correct and the plugins were in the correct folder but all it would do is spin and then not populate.I uninstalled Premire and Media encoder including pre

Some days ago I noticed the “Graphics Templates” panel disappeared. But when I opened the “Window” menu and selected it to make it appear again, it wouldn’t. I’ve already cleared my media cache, restarted/shut down my computer, reset my Workspace preferences, swapped Workspaces, but nothing worked. I’m on the current version Premiere, Windows 11. Is anyone else dealing with this issue?
After Command-dragging an edit point in the timeline, the cursor remains displayed as a trim icon even after I finish trimming, click away from the edit, or attempt to manually invoke the Selection tool using its keyboard shortcut. The tool’s behavior appears to return to normal in that I can click and drag clips, but the cursor will not return to the Selection arrow until another mouse interaction forces it to refresh.System information Premiere Pro: 26.5.2, Build 5 macOS: Tahoe 26.7.1, Build 25G241 Computer: MacBook Pro, 16-inch, 2021 Chip: Apple M1 Max Memory: 64 GB GPU: 32-core Display configuration: Dual external displays Apple Studio Display, connected via Thunderbolt Dell P2720DC, QHD/WQHD, connected via HDMI This is occurring in my dual-display setup. When working in my timeline when I try to click and drag a clip to either trim or move it or adjust speed in time remapping it doesn’t work. Basically anything that requires a dragging motion does not work. I am working in 26.5.2 and this has been an ongoing issue but it’s only gotten worse.
Properties panel causes severe freezing on any interaction — 40+ second hangs, complete unresponsivenessPremiere Pro 26.2.2 (latest stable release as of May 2026) freezes severely whenever the Properties panel is used. The issue was also reproduced on the latest Premiere Pro 26 Beta — confirming this is not version-specific within the 26.x branch. Specific examples:Adding a simple text element and attempting to change color, border, or shadow: 40+ second freeze before any response Editing background color or text color: application becomes completely unresponsive, requires force-close Applying a simple mask to any element: full hang Editing an existing caption: application freezes for 30–60 seconds or indefinitelyThis is not occasional lag — every single interaction with the Properties panel triggers a freeze. The issue is consistent across all projects (new and existing), all sequence types, all source file formats (H.264, MP4, ProRes), and all timeline operations involving Properties
