Title of the subject pretty much covers the issue I'm having. Last year, while I was working on a specific project, all my Adobe software automatically updated to the next newest version of the software, and when that happened my project file got corrupted. I want to avoid that happening again this year. So if someone could send me a nice how-to guide to turning off automatic updates on all my Adobe Suite software services, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I would like to know if there are any dangers that come with disabling automatic updates. As in, how long can I go without updating my Adobe software before the programs become too obsolete to function? I am aware that if you don't update at all then your Adobe programs could be more prone to crashing, unlike if you keep you Adobe programs to their latest versions. Hi,I'm an old Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium user and still using that version on an older Mac.I recently had to replace the internal hard drive and reinstall Adobe Creative Suite 4.Everything works fine except for Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.At first the installer recognized the Acrobat 9 Pro was already installed (I had initially copied everything over from the old hard drive that was failing.) But it wouldn't let me reinstall over it because it was already there. I tried launching Acrobat 9 Pro and it would ask for a serial number but wouldn't accept the CS4 serial number that's on the back of the DVD case. I then uninstalled it using the enclosed uninstaller and tried again. Then the CS4 installer didn't show it as either installed or available to install. The only Acrobat related item listed was Acrobat.com.I then found and downloaded the standalone Acrobat 9 Pro installer from here:Download Acrobat products | 9, 8I downloaded and installed that, but again when I get to the serial num

Bonjour, Je souhaite installer creative cloud sur mon disque D plutôt que sur mon disque C mais il se mets automatiquement sur mon disque C. J'ai essayé en allant dans les préférences de téléchargement mais ça ne fonctionne pas pour l'installation initiale de creatice cloud sur mon ordianateur. Si vous avez LA solution, je suis preneur. I was wondering when was the last time a new Update for the Adobe Creative Cloud didn't need a instant hotfix? 

I paid ~$1000 in 2006 for Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium (perpetual license).  I still have the install disks, serial number, and successfully installed it on a Win10 PC and it works fine (my old computer is long gone and no devices show up in my product account).  However, it says I need an activation code or I only have 30 days to use it.  I had hoped my kids could learn it, and don't feel like paying $20-60 per month for the modern subscription.  Is there any way to get an Activation code so the product is perpetually licensed, which is what I paid for.

I just purchased a new mac pro and I'm trying to set all my software again.  While trying to install InDesign I keep getting the same error 403.  It keeps advising to check for updates however I've literally just downloaded creative suite and there are no updates available.  HALP 😞  

Hi, I am looking for a phone number to place a complain Adobe Support in India. I dii to speak with someone in management level in US. People are in INdia are not helping me. They even don't give me call back when they promise. I am always by hour and hours waiting for their calls.

I had to reinstall PSE (2022) on the same PC (Win 10), uninstalled it before. Now after entering the serial number it says:  The serial number you entered is invalid. The number is 100% correct and worked before. It's the one which is shown in the Adobe account online. I have no idea what to do 😞

Had to reinstall the OS and now trying to re-activate my CS6.  It keeps telling my my computer is off line (Chrome and Edge both have access).  Got a Request Code but "www.adobe.com/go/getactived" doesn't exist so I cannot get a "Response Code".Legal - paid for sofware and now it won't work/activate.Bri.

I recently set up my wife's laptop with Linux and there is a lot I like about that OS. I would be interested in going to Linux as well, but since Creative Suite has not been made available for Linux, that's the only thing stopping me from doing it. I've seen in the past that there has been some ways to run CC apps on Linux but they're dated, and there hasn't been much else I've found on this issue. Is there a particular reason why Linux has not been supported by Adobe? I'm curious to know. There are a lot of people using Linux, not to mention many high-level people at major software companies who use it for their personal use, it would seem there should be a sizable stable market for Adobe to allow that.

Hello everyone,I bought photoshop and premiere (elements 14) on DVDs a few years ago.I recently had to change my hard disk drive and my os has changed for catalina. But now, it's impossible to install these two apps ! So please, what should be the solution ? Need help...Many thanksJohann

I purchased the CD several years ago and have used all of my key codes. My computer crashed and had to be wiped clean with a new hard drive. I need to reinstall this program on my computer, but I cannot find the box with the serial number.

Hallo,ich habe von meinen Eltern Lightroom 5 DVD erhalten, die nie genutzt wurde und im Schrank verschwand. Ich wollte diese nun bei mir installieren, scheitere jedoch bei der Seriennummer. Der DVD ist ein Abrufcode beigefügt, über den man online eine Seriennummer generiert. Leider erhalte ich die Mitteilung, dass der Code nicht aktiv ist.  Kann mir jemand helfen, dass ich die Seriennnumer noch aktivieren kann? VG

Ich habe 2016  Lightroom 6 bei Calumet gekauft und seit dem auf meinem Rechner installiert. In Abständen habe ich es nach Deinstallation auch wieder problemlos neu installiert und mit der  beiliegenden Seriennummer immer mit Erfolg aktiviert. Heute scheiterte ich bei dem Versuch es nach der neuen Installation vom Datenträger auf meinem alleinigen Rechner neu zu aktivieren. Es erscheint ein Fenster, in dem geschrieben steht, daß keine Internetverbindung bestehe oder eine falsche Systemzeit vorliege. Beides ist aber nicht der Fall. Wenden Sie sich an den Support. Im persönlichen Adobe- Konto steht unter Produkte und Lightroom 6- "Lightroom 6 -- This installer is no longer available" . Was kann ich tun? Bin etwas überrascht und hilflos. GrußAdolf

it shows me almost apps are not compabatible on my windows version. this comment below request windows version 1607 for minimum and update my windows, but my windows version is 21H2. so i don't understand why i cannot install these applications. somebody help me please 😞  

Help please!I have been using CC for ages through my work account. No problems. However, since the update it wont download as everything is not compatible with my OS: OS X ElCaptain.It was working but now everything on the CC list says not compatible, the 3 dots at the side only says learn more - there is no option to download previous versions. I cannot update my OS, and am not prepared to buy a new MAC just to get CC working.  Can anyone help me please 😞K

Good afternoon. I bought Adobe Photoshop in 2008, installed and activated it. I am completely satisfied with it. Email address (activation) is long gone. The old ISP just stopped working. Now decided to move Photoshop to a new computer. I can't log into Adobe ID because I can't change my old email address to the new one. How can I deactivate Photoshop on the old computer and activate it on the new computer? Are there any options?

I had photoshop and Premiere elements 9 on a windows 7, worked great,now after adding to a new windows 10 machine, it excepts the licence key, but will not register or allow updates, after an hour or so now adobe says my licence key has expired, why? 

Hello all! I am at the current moment very frustrated. Back in 2017, I needed Adobe for a project so I subscribed for maybe 2 months in total, got the work done and had no need for Adobe at all afterwards so I cancelled and was told that my subscription would be terminated the upcoming month. With that being said, I had lots of peace of mind. Call me an idiot (mainly because I feel like one), but low and behold my subscription WASNT cancelled and I have been getting billed every month ... since 2017!! Being a college student scraping by with every penny I get, this is very frustrating to me, especially because I havent been using Adobe since i thought my subscription was cancelled, hell I dont even have any adobe products installed on any of my devices. Some how I havent really noticed the billings until recent, when I saw my last months bill get put through thinking "Hmmm I thought I cancelled that years ago", just to find invoices dating back ~4 years. Hello community, I installed CS6 Standard on a client and licensed it for this computer some time ago. However, now users who want to use CS6 products can only use the trial version of CS6. Every day it counts down. Back then, CS6 didn't have to be licensed with an Adobe ID, but it does today. However, I can no longer add the license in Adobe ID because the website says "License is already in use".I was already in contact with the Adobe support team and was advised that CS6 is no longer supported and that I should contact the community.

Over the last year, I have been unable to update my computer past 1803 which is now limiting me from using some of adobe's products (Illustrator). I am going to attempt a reset while keeping my files (including cc launcher and my older 2017 lineup of apps. Will I still be able to use the apps after the reset or is there a way to redownload older apps such as this?
