Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I experience that when editing, LR freeze for a short period, approx 10-15 seconds, when f. ex. you have eddited light settings, and move on to other adjustments, no big problem, but very annoing.what can be the reason MY pc is equipped like this13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F32 GB memoryWindows 11 Home 64-bit Version: 26100.4061NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 OEMand my netspeed is in test around 90- 100Mb 

Since about 2 weeks (maybe since a recent PS update), I can't send a photo from LR to Photoshop for editing (using the built in menu option 'edit in Photoshop' when right-clicking a photo in my LR catalog). This is a very recent problem (always used to work) and maybe it started with a recent update of PS/LR (I can't tell exacly when it started. The error message tells me to check the Mac OS system settings (I am translating from German, it's supposedly in the security/automatization section of MacOS.). However, in that section of the Mac's system settings, there' only an empty window. I uninstalled both LR and PS, but that did not help. Curiously Photoshop's access to the LR catalog works fine, I can see my photos in Photoshop and open them directly in PS. Since my normal workflow is to develop in LR and retouch in PS (and then save back to LR), this is annoying. Any ideas what I could do?LR, PS and Mac OS: all updated to latest versions as of May 22, 2025.

No blur option 

Apologies if this is a dumb question. Maybe this is default behavior? I'm new to macOS (this week). I don't remember this happening on PC, but it could have and i just never noticed it. ISSUE:When Lightroom is open, i see the activity light on my external drive flash about every 4 seconds. I'm not doing anything in Lightroom at the time. This continues to happen unitl I quit Lightroom. My Originals cache is on an external drive. Some preliminary investigation shows that Lightroom is accessing the drive and writing temporary files called  .lrtester.tmp into the cache Originals folder. Is this expected? Renewed my subscription, after it failed due to payment issues. Lightroom, still saying that subscription needs to be renewed in the app but not in the pop-up, which says subscription is active. Very annoying because I cannot do anything for like 2 weeks now.

Hi all, I'm using Lr on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone.The Location information are visible on Mac and iPhone. See screenshot from iPhone below. I would expect to see the same infromation also on the iPad. But this isn't the case. I was spending half an mornining chatting with customer support, but no success. The same behavour I can observe on an other iPad Pro (newer / different model)I'm I the only one experiencing that?  Rene  

Hello,I don't have any collection marked as synced on my LRC 14.3.1 on my Mac.I don't have any photo in cloud as showed on attached file on LR 8.3.1 on my Mac and on LR 10.3.1 on my iPhone.But LRC and LR say me there are 3.6 Go used in cloud.There is no files anywhere. See attached files.So I don't understand why and so I don't know how to fix that.Thanks for your help.Gilles

I can´t find any modules or menus up in the right corner... As I understand there should be a bar with modules or menues with library, develop, map, book, slideshow, print, web... But I can´t see anyone of these. I would really like to find out how to see these modules. Does anyone know how to do to find them? Thanks in advance.

Hi @ allI installed lightroom 8.3.1. on my PC. Info: I paused the cloud sync. I do not want it to be synced. When I got a new PC I permanently had to switch from the new one back to the old one, because the new man made a lot of problems (not Lightroom related). This just as an info. Here is when the problems started: I'm oin a busy week, when we come back from the race track we check the photos, run them through an app and then do the fine tuning with adobe Lightroom. Last night, the first 100 photos went well through the app. Then I wanted to import the next 100 and it hung up after about 10 (first time ever that this happened. I'm doing this since 2 or 3 years - never had a problem). So I "x"-ed it and wanted to delete the 10 that have already been imported. First problem: it didn't let me delete the imported files. Tried it several times. No delete, no export, nothing. So I restarted the computer: same situation. Then I installed an older version and hoped that everythingg is

I've given up on trying to find where I can change my cloud storage after several attempts. One time an actual operator actually took my billing information to expand my cloud storage. No charge was actually ever made to my account so that was unsessful so only about 50,000 photos soon to be lost and no apparent way to retive or expand my could storage. 

Could you change the zoom in shortcut key from ctrl+= to ctrl++ Because the ctrl+= don't do anything, and I can't change the keymap settings on windows. And I can't set these keymap on xp-pen digital drawing table app.

my lightroom is stuck, and keeps on saying i need to synchonice, and I dont want that at all, and now i cant do my photo's anymore in lightroom. that's not good ! 

Just been on a month long trip to Spain. While there I added my selected images into LR Mobile for editing and they synched up to the cloud, presumably as original RAW files. Now home I’ve synched them with LRClassic and original RAWs are now also stored in the folder I designated on my hard drive along with the edits I did while travelling.  My question now is - can I swap out the original RAWs stored in the cloud for Smart Previews of those files created in LRClassic in order to save space in the cloud? If so, how do I do this? I still want them to be synched but with Smart P reviews residing in the cloud and the originals on my hard drive along with the edits. Or are S Smart Previews only synched and generated if the originals are imported into Classic from the start?

Recently with 10.3.2 I noticed I do not get all my raw files imported, they don't appear in "all photos". But I can see them in the gallery tab with a small LR symbol, I also notice a "duplicates skipped" notification when I'm missing photos.  When I try selecting and manually importing them from the Gallery tab I get the "duplicates skipped" message again. If I force the import with doing an edit from the Gallery tab they get imported.  What is going on, did you mess up the algorithm that's detects duplicates that it falsely flags new original photos that never haven been there before?  I'm paying for this software and need it to work reliable, I can't have it skip random photos that will be lost for me if I don't do manual checks. And I don't need your software if I have to sit down and do manual work.  

after some years using lightroom, I noticed that when I import pictures, Lightroom places them in subfolders, by year. I want to delete the subfiles--they are cluttering up my menu. I DON'T want to delete the pictures in them, just the subfile structure. How do I do that?

When I am using the masking tool and use the brush in Adobe Lightroom on Mobile(Android) the app crashes.
