Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I don't know what additional details to provide. My access to my Lightroom account is being blocked by an ad promoting Lightroom Premium.

I can start the app, but it instantly freezes for about 5–10 seconds. I've tried many different things to fix it. I installed all available updates, disconnected two of my three monitors, and updated everything I could. I'm not understanding how my Lightroom (Desktop 9.4.1) Library is getting so large. Yesterday it was at 320 GB, I deleted it and let Lightroom rebuild it, today it's at 246GB. Despite having my cache set to 50GB. My overall Library size is 1.7TB In the Cloud, and fully saved to a local SSD.When I dig into the Library file, I see a Proxies Folder that is 223GB, it appears to be copies of all the video's I have in my Library. I have local copies of everything in my Library on a local SSD that I always have, I don't need those in the proxy folder and I have my Cache Set to 50GB. 1) Why would Lightroom download the video's to the Proxy Folder when the Cache is set to 50GB? 2) How do I fix it? 3) I would like to keep my Library file to about 100 - 150GB - Anyway to cap it? 4) I have the option- to save all Smart Previews to my Mac, turned on. Is this outside of (in addition to) the 50GB Cache limit, or within it?

Nel tentativo di applicare un predefinito ai soli elementi non modificati, il processo si è bloccato e ho dovuto annullarlo perché richiedeva troppo tempo. In seguito a questa operazione, il catalogo si è disorganizzato e ora il programma non mi mostra più la distinzione tra foto modificate e non modificate.da poco ha anche iniziato a sincronizzare molti album, ma erano già sincronizzati. non so il motivo e l’ho bloccato, qualcuno sa aiutarmi? grazie  

I have been a licensed user for many years. My existing adobe applications that exist on my computer are automatically updated. When I turned on my computer, I saw that all the applications were up to date. Although I can open PS, I definitely can't open the LR application. I can't get into the app. All my work is late. I am extremely victimized. Is there anyone who can help. what should I do

Hi,I’m a Lightroom Premium subscriber.My Lightroom Mobile library suddenly disappeared without me deleting anything.All photos in Lightroom are gone. All albums are gone. All imported presets are gone. All edits are gone. Lightroom Mobile and Lightroom Web both show 0 photos. My original photos are still in Apple Photos. My iPhone still shows 59.34 GB of Lightroom Documents & Data. I already signed out and signed back in, but nothing changed.Could someone from Adobe please help check if my local Lightroom catalog can be recovered?

I use Lightroom Cloud v 9.4.1. Since the most recent updates, when I create a mask and then try to subtract an area from it, I can't see any of what I'm brushing disappear (meaning the pink overlay is not getting erased). If I go to a large pink area and try to brush it, I see a very light removal, but it's clearly not removing the area desired. I have density all the way to the right. Any ideas if this is a preference that got changed or if this is a bug? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hello, before the April 2026 update, when I switched to full-screen detail view (using the F key), I would press the C key to open cropping mode. Then, to check the crop, I would press the C key again, and the photo would resize to fit the screen.Now, when I press the C key again, the photo remains zoomed out without being resized to fit the screen. See the video capture for more details. 

Sometimes, when I try to delete oneor many photos from the Lightroom app, it fails to do that - remove iOS popup just won’t show. Also, it may sometimes help to restart the phone, but the issue isn’t 100% solvable by just restarting, It happens randomly. I previously have noticed that the issue can be easily triggered by trying to remove lots of photos (don’t remember how many exactly), but after the recent update it seems that Lightroom won’t allow me to delete that many photos (delete button becomes inactive after certain number of photos selected). Nevertheless, the issue is still randomly happening when I’m trying to delete like two or three photos. At certain point It just stops working.I have a suspicion that this is some iOS system issue casue I’ve been experiencing this since iOS 18 and not only in Lightroom, but other third-party apps too. But you know how Apple support goes: restart, do factory reset, send to repair, etc. Without actually solving anything. So, I guess such a

So I just received my new ASUS Zenbook A16 with the new Snapdragon X2 Extreme processor with 48GB Ram.I Just started running the latest version of LR V. 9.2 for ARM. Overall the performance has been quite good yet unfortunately doing a denoise on my Sony A1ll raw files is still extremely slow. Even though when I click on “Denoise” it gives me an estimate time of 19 seconds yet its taking about 3 minutes to denoise one image.I was really hoping with the new X2 Extreme chip that performance would be improved yet for now its quite dismal 

I wanted to submit feedback that the tutorial is garbage and unhelpful. Instead, it became a post. smhGood thing it’s easy to delete this… oh wait, I can’t even do something you can do on 99% of forums.

07/8/26 936 pm, keeps freezing and not working AGAIN, no other programs running just lightroom and I can’t even edit one picture without it locking up

I am no longer able to hide the giant menu on the leftThis sidebar menu needs to have the capability to be hidden on the tablet application. This is supposed to be my photo gallery. The grid of images should take up as much of the screen as possible. The sidebar panels are still able to be hidden on desktop and my phone. Am i missing something?

Using the cloud is a painfully slow process even though I have a fast internet connection.  plugging the phone into the computer provides access to apple’s camera files but not Lr’s.  I want to speed up that process.  Some other third party camera apps put there files into the same folder that Apple does but Lr does not

Currently Lightroom Mobile on iOS can only import photos from the Apple Photos app. It would be great if we had the ability to import and save to iCloud Drive. I would also like the ability to be able to choose Lightroom as an app to open photos with when selecting “Open With” within iCloud Drive.
