Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I've used Lightroom Classic for over a decade, never tried the cloud-based. Now, finally, I find myself in a situation of needing to share an album with someone else. That part was easy. But now, I'm wondering how to manage the content? In Lightroom Classic there are all kinds of tags, flags, ratings, picks, rejects, metadata, etc, and filters to find stuff based on all those things. But, search doesn't work for shared folders. So, how do you ever find anything you need? Can't set ratings. Can't set flags. Can't add tags. Can't pick or reject photos. Can you even make subfolders within an album? A feature I wouldn't even need if I could just filter the photos.  There doesn't seem to be ANY organizational features in a shared album other than likes. And even then, there doesn't seem to be a way to filter on liked photos. Am I missing something, or are shared albums really that limited?

When creating mask using luminance range, changing range is lagging (choppy performance) with GPU acceleration turned on. On CPU only it’s very smooth.Please see attached video. You can also see CPU and GPU usage on it, and GPU is barely used (which makes sense, it’s just displaying simple 2D image with some colors).Attaching dxdiag file. Drivers are newest, nothing else works in the background, games run crazy fast, the image is medium size JPG, not even heavy RAW.GPU: 4070Ti. 

When attempting to use the Denoise feature in Lightroom, I will check the box to turn the feature on. The progress bar will show up with the percentage and it will either fully complete or abort before 100%. Once the progress bar disappears, there is no change to the photo and the denoise checkbox is still unmarked and the slider is still greyed out. My computer and Lightroom software are up to date and I have even tried using previous installments of Lightroom.

I am using the LR book module. When I sent it to Blurb  it came back with changes that I can't reverse.  The front and back cover have the wrong dimensions. I am using a Mac with LR 15.1 

lightroom classic not responding even after reinstallation

Hi there, I have been trying to move from working in Lightroom Classic to Lightroom (cloud). I have migrated the catalog from Classic to cloud, following Adobe's instructions ( https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/lightroom-cc/using/migrate-to-lightroom-cc.html). When the process completed, my migrated catalog and collections from Classic show in Lightroom but they are empty. The only photos that showed up in Lightroom are a few that I imported manually a while back to explore the software.  Some of my collections from Classic have since synced and show in Lightroom- is syncing my collections from Classic a workaround from which I can then work solely in Lightroom going forwards?  Ideally I would like to complete the migration process properly for a more sensible workstream going forwards. Many thanks

I did a migration from a Lightroom classic catalog to cloud, and the migration said it was successful without any issues, but none of the files are showing up. Looking at the log, none of the actual files were transferred. None of the photos are showing up in Lightroom Cloud, and it won't let me re-run the migration because it has already been migrated. If I open Lightroom classic, all of the folders and photos are found, with no issues. Why are all my watermarks now inverting upon export? I have not rotated the images. How do I fix? This just started happening.

I installed Lightroom Classic presets I purchased on my MacBook.  Everything worked great until I renamed one of them.  Now, I cannot select any presets.  They displayed OK, but I can't select them.    I have tired shutting down Lightroom and restarting, and I have also shut down my MacBook and restarted.  Neither fixes the problem.    Any assistance would be appreciated.  

So for the last few months I've come across a problem in Lightroom working on my RAW files.I import both in RAW and JPEG, and the RAW (RAF) files from my Fujifilm X-T5 camera get a weird fish eye effect on them. I can work around that by twiddling with the in the editing menu where it says Optics and Enable Lens Corrections - but then I have to do that for every single photo and that's not ideal.Another problem is that after exporting these photos look grainy when they shouldn't be, and that didn't use to be the case either. So I suppose somewhere along the way I must've activated some really unfortunate setting. Interestingly, when I look at older RAW photos from my Canon 70D camera I don't get this fish eye warped effect. The exports are still grainy though. Would very appreciate any input as to what I can do to fix this. JPEG duplicates are fine and make a nicer export than the RAW files.... I'm using version 9.1.

I do photography for a living, and I often like to change the background of the object I am doing photos of, color, etc. Whenever I use the mask tool and select the object, it does a terrible job of finding the edges. I then have to go in with a subtract brush to clean up around the object I have selected... I have spent hundreds of hours doing this. Any suggestions? You are all most likely better at this than I am...

When I use Super Resolution (from 4000 px to 8000 px) and then delete the version, Lightroom still shows the wrong resolution (8000 px). Closing the app does not help. Metadata sync is finished.

Hi there,  On a few of my photos on lightroom mobile, it has a red exclamation mark and won't fully load the photo or let me edit it from the app. It has an error code of T20200914. When I googled this, it suggested it was a synching error and I should sign out and back in to my mobile app. As far as I can tell, it is onyl affecting photos from one album, which is the one I'm currently wprking on and which contains my most recent photos.  I've since logged in and out of the app. It fixed the issue with one of the photos, but not with the others. Any ideas? Not sure if it's related, but I've noticed that on loads of my photos, which I typically edit on my desktop, when I open them on lightroom mobile there is often (but not always) an exclamation mark in a triangle for each of the masks I've applied, i.e. when you view the list of masks on the right of the phone screen. Weirdly, I can still select the mask and make adjustments to sliders.  Are one or b

It is maddening that Lightroom simply will not open a previously added image.  All that happens is a message: Previously Added.  As if the function of Lightroom is purely to add, rather than edit images.   Lightroom knows where the image is in its Library.  JUST OPEN IT!   Instead, what a user has to do is figure out the date, navigate into the Lightroom Library, select the year, select the month, select the day, and then find the image.  The user might have dozens if not hundreds of similar images.  FIVE MINUTES to find the image and open it.   When Lightroom could JUST OPEN the image. It knows where the image is. JUST OPEN IT.

I am encountering a persistent issue with Lightroom Desktop (v9.1) on Windows 11. The app fails to launch and displays two error messages: "invalid capture index" and "can only init the Organize Module once."System Info:OS: Windows 11 (fully updated)Version: Lightroom v9.1What I have tried so far:Restarted my PC and checked Task Manager (no duplicate processes found).Attempted to reset preferences using the Alt+Shift shortcut.Performed a clean uninstall and reinstalled the app through Creative Cloud.Checked AppData folders, but the issue remains.  

In any other app in Windows, Ctrl + Backspace will delete the word to the left of the cursor. This keyboard combo does not work in Lightroom; instead, some kind of unprintable character is _added_ to the contents of the text field.   Lightroom 9.1 Windows 11

hello everybody, im done with my nerves. yesterday i downloaded lightroom again but my problem is or was that it crashed after starting and froze with a error. after many many tries with troublehooting and help from the discord server we didnt came far. After doing the CC adobe software to delete everyhing my lightroom wonnt start now at all... pls help me somebody.

Percebi que todas as minhas fotos (exceto uma) sumiram do aplicativo. Tiro todas as fotos por lá é não tive tempo de fazer upload de todas. Acabei perdendo todas as minhas fotos. Estou muito chateada, espero que o problema seja solucionado

I have a couple of files that export to very large JPG files directly from Lightroom - the same image imported into Photoshop and saved as a TIF exports to the expected size. For example direct export of the edited RAW file gives 3.18 MB for a 1200 by 1200 JPG an export of the TIF version is 1.34 MB. No changes were made in Photoshop other than saving as a TIF. The RAW and TIF files are 3823 pixels square

Can anyone help me, I purchased the Atmospheric smoke bundle overlay but I can add it to my lightroom? It won't let me add it in the presets.  It won't light up to allow me to add them.  They are jpg, which is suppose to upload onto lightroom. Why is it not allowing me? Was this a bad purchase?   Before I purchased it said it was allowed with lightroom   Please help   Jen

Does lightroom for android automatically know not to import images it has already imported?
