Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I spent a lot of time editing an image in Lightroom (Mac v8.4).  Global edits and masking.  I made sure it synced to the cloud.  I came back a few days later to make some adjustments.  Again made sure it synced.  I published it to the community.  Then, I closed Lightroom, and opened Lightroom Classic so it could sync there and then publish it to Flickr (yes, I still use that).  Lightroom Classic (v14.4) removed all my edits and masks, then synced that back to Lightroom.  Now my edits are all gone!  Is there a way to recover this?  The image in the Community still shows as the edited version.  Sure, I could re-create the edits based off that, but re-doing the masks is going to be a pain.  Why is syncing so broken?!?

I'm running Lightroom 8.4 on an M1 Macbook Pro under Sequoia (15.5). And I'm scanning hundreds of old(er) slides and print photos, so of course "capture date" and that sort of thing is based on the day/time that I'm scanning. I'd love to be able to select 20 or 30 images at a time and apply a single date, or even title, or description in the metadata of those images. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do this in Lightroom, though, as I understand it, this exists in Lightroom Classic. What are the chances that this can be developed? Or, if I'm missing something obvious (I have searched!), please let me know.

I am having a serious problem with Lightroom which started about a week ago.I am running Lightroom 8.4.I have about 20,670 photos in the cloud using 143.2 GB of my 1TB allocation.My 2022 Mac Studio has an Apple M1 Max chip, 32 GB of memory running Sequoia 15.5.A Speedtest of my Internet connection is currently showing about 900 Mbps down and 870 Mbps up. My desktop Lightroom has been showing “Syncing items” for about a week now. It started after I tried to reset the star ratings and flags on all my images.Response is very slow, especially when closing Lightroom and loading grid view. No photos show any metadata when I select the Info icon and all show “Syncing Metadata…” However closing Lightroom and reopening on the same image will show metadata for that image. Similarly, some photos show greyed out sliders for editing but this is not consistent. Closing Lightroom and reopening on the same image will show active sliders. These last two issues might be a result of the sl

I am about to purchase the Lightroom plan. I would appreciate some guidance please. If I save images within LrC on my hard drive or document folder on my Mac Mini would the images also be saved on Adobe web site and be counted against the 1TB within the Light room plan? Thank You

The denoise function doesn't seem to be functioning properly.  When I try to apply it to a picture I'm editing, it looks like it finishes but, nothing on the picture changes.  In addition, after using denoise, the other editng functions (e.g., exposure, contrast, highlights, etc.) stop working too.  Any ideas?

Since I made the update of LR , Noise Reduction with AI does not accept my photo Nikon RAW.I use it for long time ans now it is not working because does not accept or recognize my picture format. It is NEF and no problem except from tomorow update 8.2.Do you have the same problem ?

Reading the forum for a few minutes, I have seen a post that lens corrections may be only when the image is stored as RAW format.  For a Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens, is this the case?

Hi - does the photo prepaid bundle with Lightroom & Photoshop not exist anymore??I only use Photoshop like 5 times a year when I can't solve a problem in Lightroom, not worth getting the entire bundle or an extra PS stand alone :((  

I try to edit photos but all marks of the movements stays  on the photo when I try to save or on presets. Really annoying. Talk to support few days ago but only told to reinstall. It helped for 1 day. Any advice what it could be? Thank you 

Hi there, I'm a bit baffled, as lately, the photo on my iPad have been taking longer and longer to load on screen.I've even had this case this week-end: The whole album was stored locally, including therefore this picture.So I was a bit when it baffled to see "Local = Preview not editable", and that it took 10s to load the image. To be fair, I could always see Loading steps top left, but usually going very fast.Now, it's on average taking 5/6s easily. What's going on? Lightroom iPad 10.4.1 DC91CC/206 on iPad M4 iPad OS 18.5

I tried resetting all edits, removing every possible edit, and reverting everything to default on an image. Nothing works. The image is still in My edits album. The issue for me is that I sometimes apply some minor edits to test something and revert back immediately. So now I have hundreds of photos in this album that are not really edited in any way - which makes this album completely useless. Is there a way to remove unedited photos from this album?

  I'm having trouble signing into Lightroom on my Mac and receiving error code 12000. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:   Verified my subscription is valid (I can log in on my iPad). Checked my internet connection. Restarted my Mac. Updated Lightroom to the latest version. Cleared the cache in Lightroom. Signed out and back into the Creative Cloud app. Ensured my Mac's date and time settings are correct. Tried connecting to a different Wi-Fi network. I have previously been using Lightroom Classic and now want to import these photos into Lightroom (cloud based) In lightroom classic the files were stored in different directories based on the date the photo was taken so I have a large number of separate folders. When adding photos to an album I would like to be able to include all photos not just in that folder but in all sub folders as well.

Previously, my iPhone 14 Pro displayed HDR images really well (in Lightroom for iOS) I recently discovered that this changed for the worse. Lightroom now reports that the iPhone 14 Pro is not capable of displaying HDR images, by turning the HDR part of the histogram red, indicating the display is not capable of HDR (see screenshot). The actual images is not showing in HDR anymore, so it is not just a faulthy histogram. The same images display perfectly fine in HDR on my iPad Pro. Any ideas?    

I've been having an issue with Lightroom. After I import and correct a number of mp4 videos, (15-20)when I export all the videos to a folder on my desktop, only one or two videos export and I have to export each video at a time. Also when the video gets exported it shows as if it was a second version of the video that was already exported. I use Mac Sequoia 15.5 and Lightroom 8.4Any ideas in what's going on?Thanks

I updated Lightroom to 8.4 today and the "denoise" AI feature is no longer working. I click the "denoise" checkbox under "detail". A pop-up says "processing", but  1. the strikethrough on the denoise check box doesn't appear. 2. It doesn't look like the denoise was applied and 3. Lightroom seems to stall when I try to navigate to another photo.It just worked yesterday on the previous Lightroom version. I've been working through an album of photos and noticed today. I would appreciate it if someone could fix it - thanks!

Hello, since lightroom's latest update I don't see the batch export option anymore. I can export photos individually, but on the grid, when I select multiple files, I don't have the export option anymore (see screenshot). Is there something I'm missing? I checked the setting but nothing obvious... Thanks in advance for your help, Best, Pam  

Hey There seems to be an issue with Lightroom Mobile and the full metadata page. All the guidance tells me to tap with two fingers or select something from the three dots menu, but two finger tapping does nothing and the options that the help agents ask me to tap aren't actually in the menu.  I can sometimes view the full metadata page by swiping up from the bottom but it usually doesn't work.  Any chance you can just put a straightforward link to the metadata page in the menu somewhere guys? This is infuriating

Hello guys, please help me !!! So I bought a Mac to edit better and everything is fine and works perfectly but when I export it as TIFF, the best quality for later Social Media, it only has 2-3 Mega Pixels on my Phone when downloading it. Normally my edited pictures (Lightroom Mobile) they have 24 MP like the camera... And I don't know what to do because I already tried everything...

Does anyone experience difficulty making precise crops and rotates in the LR Mobile App?  For me, the motion snaps back and forth several pixels/degrees, snapping right past the desired point, making a precise adjustment very difficult.  Drives me bonkers.  It happens on both my devices, and has does so for a very long time (ever since the beginning, I think).  I've brought it to Adobe several times, and they cop out saying it works fine on their device.  I've even sent them video clips.Am I the only one experiencing this?
