Photoshop

With this latest update, I am unable to play any of the actions that I created in PS. The standard actions work, just not the ones that I've made. When I try to play the action, it gives me the wheel of death, and I have to force quite PS.Is there a fix for this that I'm unaware of?

What is going on here? I can't change the rectangular marquee tool a specific ratio. The Width and Height fields are greyed out, and the Style dropdown options that are supposed to say "Ratio" has replaced with this "Generate image" nonsense, which is also greyed out.PLEASE FIX THIS!  

I had an action that included select all people but it doesn't work in the action in version 27.0.0. Tried to re-record again to no avail.  Just spinning wheel. No problem with selecting people out of the action. Anyone else have this? Windows 11 up to date.

Hello, When cropping images to the full height or width of the image (or crop along any side of the original canvas), then a 1px semi-transparent edge appears. For dark images, this causes a light strip when flattening/saving as a new JPG. For example, if I crop the image like this, going all the way to the left and right edges of the image: Then a transparent strip appears along the left & right sides: When flattened to save as a new JPG, it's still visible: This doesn't happen if I check "Delete Cropped Pixels", but then I can't finesse placement after cropping. It also doesn't happen if I bring the crop handles in a few pixels from the edge, but it's very tedious to do that for the high volume I work with, it's much more efficient to let it snap to the full width/height of the canvas. I tried adding a black fill layer below, which helps a little, but there's still a visible line.  Is there any other way to avoid this?

This is kind of a minor cosmetic issue. When I disable icon previews in a folder containing RAW files on macOS Sequoia, the Canon CR2 icons show as expected, but the Sony ARW icons appear as generic blue Photoshop icons. What's the deal here?

Hello, I am coming here because I am desperate. I have not been able to work for several days due to a mouse offset bug, like this:   The cross represents the place where I clicked with my lasso selection, as you can see, I managed to obtain a nice shape at an offset location with a single click. So I can no longer retouch or even delete elements from my photos without destroying everything with my tools. I note that this bug only occurs when I click, otherwise the cursor of my mouse seems to be correctly positioned (for example, on menu buttons like the one shown below, the mouse interacts correctly with the button without offset).    I recently added a second 4K monitor to my setup. I tried turning it off to see if it would solve the problem. I haven't seen anyone else having this issue on the net, so I'm coming here in case someone has a solution. I tried resetting Photoshop, uninstalling and reinstalling it, and using an older version. Thank

Estas ultimas actualizaciones empece a tener este problema, primero la interfaz al principio era super lenta y luego ya cuando actualice , no carga la barra de menus y problemas en la interfaz, con la version 27 crei que se solucionaria, pero el error se mantiene. 

PS 27.0, it doesn't work for me. It starts up and then simply stops after about 2 seconds without displaying an error message, nothing. Firefly, on the other hand, works perfectly.{Moved the reply to a new thread for better visibility by MOD}

Having a huge issue here that slows down the work flow. I use the recent brushes strip within the brush panel to switch between different brushes quickly. Up until recently, when I switched from Brush A which I was using at say, 10 px, to the recent Brush B, which I was previously using at say, 50 px, selecting Brush B again would resize the brush tip automatically to 50 px (the size I was using it at before using A), which is what I want.  Currently, the strip (misleadingly) still visually reflects the size that each recent brush was at before switching to a different one. However, now when I switch from A to B, it remains the same size. In the example, when I switch from A to B, B's new size is 10 px. Same as A. Because of this, whenever I switch between different recent brushes, I have to resize them manually Every. Single. Time. This is extremely frustrating. A and B are different brushes; I'm using them for different purposes. There is a reason why I want

New version of PS wont keep the layer mode drop down selected when i click it, I used to be able to cycle through the modes using the up down arrows, now i have to click each one and release to see it. My computer crashed while I was working on Photoshop. When it restarted and I tried to open the file, I received this pop up message "Could not open "filename.psd" because of a program error." I checked the file's previous version but there was none. Please help me. 

Odd reults with group effects, I've done this a million times in the past. If i have a stroke on the layer then group it and add another the group sees it as a rectangle. This is odd, if i zoom out you no longer see it however whats very odd is that if i save it as a .png you can see the error? Hi. The below issue has been happening for a while. Yesterday for example, I freshly re-installed Windows 11 again along with my Adobe products and it happened on first try. In Photoshop, when using Filter --> Camera Raw Filter --> Presets,Photoshop will freeze or sometimes display an our of memory error.) Does not matter if I disable onboard GPU.I'm using studio driver. Game driver made no difference either.All drivers updated.

Lost my toolbar icons after last update, there are still 'markers' where the icon should be. Also lost control over the quick adjustment icons, but not the using the pop up icon under the layers panel

Over the years I have bought many PS actions and spent time creating my own. Now with v27 none of them work! Usually they fail on patterns. I know you'll say revert to an older version of PS but my question is why are you releasing a new version of PS which loses compatibility with commands in previous versions? The implications of this are massive going forward!!

It is no longer possible to open multiple print files (e.g. from an exhibition stand) in Photoshop afterwards to check whether the transitions are correct in the print files.How can it be that a basic function such as opening a PDF in Photoshop is no longer implemented correctly? Does Adobe actually test anything before releases?Environment: current Mac, Photoshop 2025 (not beta) PDF X-4:2008, i.e. a completely normal standard. I can open the file, but there are so many display errors that I cannot effectively check it. I understand that you also make simpler tools for online creators. But damn it, there are still people who have learned how to use it and who still work as generalists in these areas. So can you please stop constantly making your software worse?

My company designs and makes unique ceramic vessels for upscale interiors.  I have used Photoshop's ability to generate appropriate backgrounds of our work, but recently, the performance has become severely degraded.  I have tried all the approaches I can think of in the prompts, but nothing helps.  Why is the software getting worse rather than better over time?  Any suggestionss?  Three recent examples attached (there were about 15 more similar results all with either significantly varying or only modestly varying prompts.  Here's the prompt that produced "_2_attempt_a.pdf": "Place this 17" high ceramic vessel on a fine table in the lobby of an upscale country inn. Insure a perspective that does not require you changing the vessel".

Hi. I have come back to light room and i want to reconnect with the libraries that i set up in 2010. Can anyone help with finding out how to retrieve old photos? I have tried syncing and retrieving but I am being told that photoshop classic has no photographs. Help would be greatly appreciated

Everytime i try to select a text layer with my text tool the text changes to random text.It doesnt matter which text layer I select it changes to a random text from the document.Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
