Hi, I want to trace pixel art from a high resolution image but keep the high resolution images resolution high but actually draw on a 32x32 size document. Is there any way to do this. If i were to scale down the image to fit in 32x32 it would lose so much detail tracing would not work. I want to practice making pixel art by tracing is there some way to force a image to overlay at high resolution while the document is only 32x32 pixels.Thanks.

Hello fellow iPad end users, Greetings for the holiday season! My issue is, I currently have a paid annual subscription for Photoshop version 7, but had my subscribed Adobe Photoshop drop my paid subscription mid-stream and limited my access/use of the software application in spite of my fully paid status. Subscription was fully paid on Qctober 25, 2025 to October 25, 2026 and Photoshop dropped my subscriber use to limited 'free-copy' use on October 30, 2025. This is the second time the anomaly manifested itself on Photoshop. The first was when photoshop updated to version 6.1.1 and the second was when Photoshop updated from 6.2.2 to 7; Prior to version 6.1.1. Photoshop would crash when being initialized, fortunately, the problem was resolved with photoshop version 6.1.1. i had to cancel my first subscription and resubscribed on October 25, 2025. I may have to cancel my subscription once again, a second time and rescbscribe to resolve the annoying issue as Appl
Idea SummaryThe Problem: Closing a document, or the Photoshop program, before a background export is complete - e.g. Quick Export as PNG - results in no file being exported, and possible unrecoverable loss of progress. This is exacerbated by PNG saves/exports on Windows occasionally taking a 10+ seconds to complete, even for tiny, simple images (further details below).Proposed Solution: Please add a warning when closing a document, or the Photoshop program, if a background export is still in progress. This would make users aware that their work may be lost and rendered unrecoverable if they continue.Additional Explanation and DetailsI have run into this frustrating scenario a number of times:- I open Photoshop to quickly create or modify an image with no intention of or need to save my changes - only to export a rasterized image.- Once complete, I use File -> Export -> Quick Export as PNG to export my image.- After the export dialogue disappears, I close the document or Photoshop
I have found an interesting predicament that occurs when editing photos in Photoshop 2026 (27.0.0) and using hibernation mode on Windows 11. Windows 11 will corrupt the Photoshop images if you try to do an upscale on a particular image after returning from hibernation. At first this drove me a little crazy but then I decided to shut down Photoshop and do a cold reboot. When I reopened Photoshop the problem was gone so I have to surmise that Using Windows hibernation is compromising Photoshop memory when Photoshop is being restored. The larger problem I have is that I will normally have as many as a dozen (or more) images open in Photoshop simultaneously. Closing Photoshop and then reopening from a saved list is a time consuming process
Hello. I have suggestion : when in camera raw (open from bridge in macOS), you want to zoom in a precise part of a picture, it ever zoom in the middle and in the bottom third instead of where you zoom in !So to really upgrade the workflow, it must zoom and center the view where you zoom in with the cursor. I remember it was so a few version ago ! Last version of bridge, camera raw and macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 Thanks a lot
Using Photoshop CC; on Windows 11 I have just switched from using Photoshop CS5 and Bridge, which I have been using since university more than a decade ago to now using Photoshop CC and Lightroom. I am working on compiling a photo book for a client and I shoot in raw. For my typical workflow, for every project I have a RAW folder with all photos, which I rate and then open the raws to edit. After edits, I save the edited file renamed into a Processed folder, so as to keep the RAW file in it's original state. After all processing has been done, I typically batch process the images into JPGS and have them save in a JPG folder for the project. Problem: Trying to follow this workflow in the new Photoshop CC ecosystem seems to not work at all. I just spent all night editing 50 photos and saving them to a Processed folder, and while photoshop is open, I can see them there in Windows Explorer, but once I closed photoshop at the end of the night, all of my photos except for one
Been using Photoshop since 7.0, before it was CS or years... never had an issue except this whole month, Photoshop just doesn't open. I end task on all photoshop processes, try again, nothing. Hi there, I am desperately trying to resize my Canon r5 images to "even" or "clean" numbers (pixels). The original format of the r5 is: 8192 x 5464 px (2x3 format). When I am in the "Image Size" Window typing for example 300 pixel (width), I will get 200 pixel (height), which makes absolutely sense because of the original sensor aspect ratio. BUT: When I type 3000 pixel for the long side (width), I suprisingly get 2001 pixel for the short side. WHY? I asume there is some hidden decimal place going on in the background?!? I remember there was no issue with my old Canon 5D Mark IV (6720 x 4480 px). Is there any workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and best regards!
I tripped over this now-closed thread:https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/why-was-sync-settings-removed-in-cc-2015-1/td-p/7876491 I am curious... does anyone still feel there's a requirement for this? A potentially unofficial/official response in the original thread stated that its removal was partly due to Libraries being introduced at the time. However, I don't see how Libraries caters for app Sync Settings, 10 years following that post.
Seems like in the past there was a forum in the Adobe corral where general infor was discussed -- I am looking to configure a new custom pc to replace my old custom pc (my builder died) and am looking for advice --- does this general info forum still exist? Thanks to those who know more than me,Joe
Photoshop bug.Anyone else have this issue? The grid is turned on. Snapping is on. I'm pulling guides to snap to the grid. I pull the vertical guides, starting from the left and moving right. They all snap to the grid. Then I begin pulling the horizontal guides down. I begin from the top. The guides all snap to the grid until!!! I pass the half way point on the document. After that the guides don't snap to the grid. It's annoying and inexplicable. But, since its easy enough to zoom in on the document and pull the guides into place I've never bought it up before. But its been happening for years. I suppose I always thought it was a graphic card/photoshop mismatch thing or some other minor thing that would be fixed along the way. But it never has been fixed. And its driving me nuts. Anyone know why this happens? Please don't suggest that I check whether snap is turned on, or suggest that I refresh my Pref's because I have done all of that and I've updated photoshop a gazilli
I'm having trouble accessing a cloud file that I just worked on 15 hours ago. It was all created with the latest, updated version of photoshop. I have not changed anything in my system, but I am no longer able to open this file. It's a .psdc file. I've tried making it available offline only, online only, and downloading it to my desktop. I've tried opening it in the app, and in the browser directly. I've tried re-uploading it into the browser from my computer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop. I've updated my entire pc, and yes I've restarted everything in between all of this. I've tried everything I can think of. I'm able to open all of my other files, except this one. Here are two errors I'm seeing. This one directly in the app: "Couldn't open "[filename].psdc" because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop." And this one in the browser version: The browser version get's close to opening it, I see the graphics, and then it
hi ! I was looking to remove a background using the remove background feature (usually found in the properties tab if I recall?) but the tab is empty, i can still find the feature in the contextual bar tho. I was wondering if it was a bug of if the feature was moved to another place. thank you in advance
Hey everyone,I’m using Photoshop (latest version) and I’ve noticed that the font size looks way too small, even when I set it to a large value. The text appears tiny on my canvas compared to what it should be.Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it be related to resolution, DPI, or display scaling settings? Any fix would be appreciated!
Till yesterday everithing were working fine. Yesterday I try to update all the Adobe product but all of them require Win11 so I update only CR. However after that both PS2025 and PSBeta2025 crash everytime I try to open a Photo (in every way - from LR, using the button "OPEN", dragging and dropping, ...).Envidia driver has just been updated. Please do not suggest to upgrade the PC to win11. I recently updated to Photoshop 2026. I have been having this issue where jpgs downloaded from social media don't open and give this error. A similar issue used to happen in Adobe Indesign where photos downloaded from whatsapp gave an error when imported in Indesign. Opening them in MS Paint and saving them again removed the error. In photoshop, I get this error. After clicking on "learn how to fix", I am taken to this page.https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/desktop/troubleshoot/file-format-issues/resolve-program-error-while-saving-files.html?trackingid=C12Y2WS7&mv=in-product&mv2=psI have taken all the steps given on the above page. The images open fine in MS Paint. And if I save them in MS paint and open them in photoshop, they open fine. But is there a better way that the jpgs open fine directly in photoshop? Someone reported a similar issue here also in 2020.https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/my-whatsapp-images-is-not
During busy photography season this filter has gotten some bug. It will not work at all to move eyes simply. I have cleared the cache, I'm done the backend file delete that was posted online, restarted, updated. What gives?? How can I fix this feature? Here's a sample pushing eyes all the way otherside - it displays error (but doesn't specify and doesn't work)
It would be nice if the generative credits did not run outin the beta version. I was testing and used up the credits. I can't give feedback if I cannot test. Thanks.
Muchas gracias.
I'm using the Rotate View tool at a specific rotation value to facilitate painting horizontal strokes.Although I can preview what's happening in normal orientation by tearing off the Navigator panel and enlarging it (thanks for that flexibility!), I also need to switch back and forth between orientations frequently, as some areas need to be worked differently. There has long been an easy reset (double-click the tool), and there is also a "Reset View" Button (thanks for that too!).But I am disappointed that I cannot make an action for Rotate View to my chosen angle. And per Jazz-y's answer to this post (reset view via scripting ), I understand that even scripting won't work, without conforming all documents. So I'd really appreciate it if Adobe would consider adding Action support, including the rotation value, to this tool.If not, I could live with Jazz-y's solution, moving all my reference docs to another app so they stay upright--but that script is for resetting to rotation 0. If a
Many tools give predetermine end result. For example when use clipping mask you know what should be the end result. There are many type of Blending Mode but those seem do not give a predetermine end result, it seems only a trial & error can decide which is most appropriate one. Is this way Blending Mode works?
