There is a pan/zoom MOTION option in photoshop video timeline - I cannot find ANY informatiojn on how to do this.... ANYWHERE 

Photoshop 26.8.1,Mac OS 15.5 SequoriaiMac Retina 5K, 27-inch 20203.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i964 GB 2667 MHz DDR4When using (or rather, "attempting to use") the Shadows/Hightlights adjustment behaves very erraticly when slider adjustments are moved. Happens when sliders are moved slightly or significently - lighting jumps all over the place - from extremely bright to extreemely dark. Very difficult, if not impossible to dial in a perfect balance between light and dark, despite where tolerance is set. This is all extremely frustrating.......... I would think this is a "bug", rather than inability to user's adjustment. I have been using Photoshop for 27 years and never encountered this problem with any previous version of PS. 

Photoshop is obviously an amazing program, but editing text in Photoshop is so slow that I instinctively create text in other programs then import into Photoshop rather than wrestle with how slow it is in Photoshop.  Recently I spent a little time with Affinity Photo and it's really startling that text editing in Affinity Photo has no lag at all.  The font list opens instantly and I could scroll through fonts with the type faces updating instantly.  Adobe needs to focus on the performance of quite of few of their programs.  The features are great but performance is a never ending complaint.

I'm so very confused right now and questioning my own sanity.  I swear I've done this hundreds of times and never had an issue before...I'm working on a comp right now where I have a Layer I want to make multiple copies of and move each one independent of each other.  Namely I'm trying to make a "trail" effect for a sort of Motion Blur on this.  However I cannot seem to edit them independently of each other.  No matter HOW I generate the Copy Layers, when I move one, they all move.  I've searched and tried every solution I can find but none are working.  I've converted the Layer to a Smart Object, then done "New Smart Object Via Copy".  I've copied the Smart Object then Rasterized the Layer.  I've simply dragged the Layer to the "New Layer" button (the way I'd normally do this) and no dice. I deselect all Layers.  Select ONLY the Layer I want to move, Move it, then when I let go of the Mouse, ALL the copied Layers move.  It is

Hi, I am still pretty new to Photoshop and cannot figure out a feature of it, specifically the image > image size dialog box. I have an image that has layers and is 5100 x 3300 px. I need to resize it to be 1920 x 1080 px. When I go to the image size dialog box and put in these dimensions with the link chain turned off, it distorts the image by making it flatter. When I command it to keep the proportions by clicking the link chain on, it autochanges the dimensions to 1920 x 1242 px. That's not the size I need. It specifically has to be 1920 x 1080 px. How can I use the dialog box to change the image size without distorting it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Resulta que yo tengo una computadora de escritorio y tengo una computadora portátil instale el Pack de Adobe en ambas computadoras porque entiendo que está permitido así sin embargo me están llegando notificaciones de que alguien más está usando mi cuenta cuando soy yo mismo que apago una computadora y continúo trabajando en la portátil y me pide que cambie el Password y estoy haciéndolo todo el tiempo parece que Adobe no entiende, qué es el mismo usuario, debo resaltar que no estoy usando el mismo programa al mismo tiempo en 2 computadoras

photoshop CC  25.0.0 20230906.r.37  Windows 10 Edit > Preferences > General > Auto Show the Home Screen is UN-checked. I like a nice clean workspace when I open up Photoshop - I've disabled "suggestions based on my activity"; I (almost) always clear my recent files.   And while we're on this topic, recent versions of Photoshop have been interrupting my workflow with asking if I want to share my image when I'm saving a file, or stuff like this: I did a Select All and it put up the selection marquee and then it put up a window advertising Generative Fill.   How do I get Photoshop to just shut up and let me work?Thanks in advance.  

Hi,     When I rotate a selection of 12 consecutive pixels, they distort.  In the image below, I want the pixels to maintain their shape, but to rotate that shape.  Anyu hekp would be appreciated.  Thank you.Adam

It is a shame that adobe has removed the possibility to export pdf/x-4:2008 from photoshop.

I’m looking for ways to streamline the process of creating professional, consistent price charts and infographics. Currently, we manually design them in Photoshop, but as our data updates frequently, it’s becoming time-consuming.   I’ve heard about using the Photoshop API or scripts to programmatically generate charts, graphs, or tables and export them as images. Ideally, I’d like a workflow where: Raw data (price trends) can be imported automatically. Photoshop applies a consistent style (colors, fonts, logos) to all charts. Images are exported ready-to-use for the website without manual tweaking.   Has anyone implemented something similar for dynamic data-driven visuals? How can I stop layers accidentally deselecting when an empty space is clicked in the Layers panel?I came across this screenshot in a feature request but cannot enable it (I have reset all warning dialog boxes in Settings).  It should really be a panel option but Adobe never listen to users, so gave up long ago trying to show it how Photoshop interface should work!  TIA.

I'd like to uninstall Photoshop 2024 from my win 11 os, but only Creative Cloud window appears and asks to login. Uninstaller doesn't work. Please, fix it.

I've been using Photoshop since 1997.  During the course of this time, I have purchsed the "Suite" in 3 different iterations, and upgraded until the subsription model started.  I'm a hobbiest photographer and use Photoshop to edit my images.  I do not sell my images or have a business, I jsut find that this product works best for my needs.  Starting at the end of this subscription, my cost will go from $10 per month to $20 per month.  Based on my current income, the product has become un-affordable.  Over the course of the past 23 years I know that I have invested at least $3000 in the "Suite" versions and another $1200 in subscriptions.  I have helped Adobe get where they are today, but it appears they are not willing to assist me in continueing to enjoy the benefits which I have supported for over two decades.  Adobe has "priced" me out of the market.

I hope I'm not in the wrong section.I'd like some clarification regarding the requirements for a PC for design, not gaming.- Photoshop, 2-4 files simultaneously, applying camera raw filters and color correction, max 50 MB per file- InDesign, 2-4 files simultaneously, layout for multi-page menus or catalogs (using the book function, however, the file size is 4 GB when closed)- Premiere, After Effects, video editing to learn how to use these software, so small things, no pretensionsThe idea is a Ryzen 7 9700X CPU, 32 DDR5, 870 EVO, all chosen according to budget and performance.The question is about the GPU: some recommend the RTX 3060 because it has 12 GB of VRAM, others push the 5060 Ti with 8 GB.Obviously, I can't afford ultra-expensive, ultra-high-performance GPUs right now, but at least something that will allow me to work decently without any hiccups.The countless reviews always focus exclusively on games, and I haven't found any reviews for graphics applications.I

This is the problem:When I want to Transfrom/Distort a corner of a rectangle, the content of the rectangle doensn't stay in the same place. I mean, let's say as an example that I've a point right in the center, when I squeeze the lower right corner towards the upper right, the point MOVES towards the right side of the rectangle!! This makes some adjustments I need to do impossible to achieve. If I use Warp, I can't really mantain straight lines in the image because everything, well, warps… Carefully moving handles I could theoretically achieve the transformation I need but it's very hard and very prone to approximations that I can't tolerate and very slow to achieve and repeat. What I need is a way to compress a corner towards another corner without shifting the content of the rectangle towards the side of the corner I'm moving. All mantaining straight lines in the perpendicular sides and progressively compress them towards the corner where I'm moving the other one. It's hard, please f

Hi all, Is there a way to work outside the canvas in Photoshop? Much like you can in InDesign? You can quickly hide and unhide the objects or layers you move outside the canvas in InDesign. I desperately want this feature in Photoshop also. Is there a way to do this?? Thanks in advance.

When opening a PDF design template within Photoshop, the dimensions are being squeezed. Confirmed file dimensions were good in Acrobat and was able to open in Illustrator without issue. See attached original files and screenshots.

Hello Adobe Community, I'm Francesco and I use Photoshop quite a lot.   Since a few days ago I've faced a photoshop's brush bug that doesn't allow me to work as usual.To put it simply, when I use the brush tool its slider changes its look by  becoming the mouse's slider ( the white arrow),and from then it remains blocked and I cannot move it in any way. I am encountering a disk error and cannot use any of the web app tools. How am I supposed to avoid this? The web app is so different from any version of PS ive ever used, and the web app settings is severly lacking in settings options. I do not want to download the desktop app. I just want to clear PS cache, or reassign where it writes it scratch files so I do not encounter this disk error in the future. Thanks.

In Photoshop, my layer group and its contents were intiially visible, since they were the topmost layers.  I needed a screenshot/frame from a video, so I temporarily imported the 1 GB video and exposed the video timeline. I navigated the playhead to the frame I needed (:28 seconds), copy merged/pasted, and then quickly deleted the video because I didn't need it anymore. Once that happened, I closed the Timeline panel. I no longer visually saw the aforementioned layer group and its contents, despite it showing that opacity was 100%, the group and its layers weren't hidden, etc. Yet, the layer options, such as blending mode and opacity control were all disabled. I was able to fix the problem by importing all layers, including the screenshot into a new Photoshop file. I suspect that it disabled the settings because I believe those blending and opacity controls are specific to each frame. Although I deleted the video, perhaps the playhead was still somehow set to :28 an

Hi everyone! Photoshop has crashed many times just from copying and pasting text from Excel, it often lags too. I've tried searching for answers but none of them worked, included the re-installation of Photoshop. When that happens, I have several boards and I noticed there is a temperature spike in my CPU (100°C).So I am thinking Photoshop lagging and crashing might be related to my CPU temperature but should a simple copy/paste require so many calculations? So I am reaching out to you in the hope that you have answers that will enable me to correct/optimize this. I needed an auto expanding text box with drop shadow in both the text and the frame behind.Illustrator was a blocker as doesn't supporter drop shadow on both the text and the frame. Using chatgpt I managed to create it on indesign. Unfortunately when placing the asset in the library for other designers to use, it didn't keep the effects.So there are two options. Either make this option available for illustrator, or else the indesign asset keeps the effect and will be usuable on photoshop. (Images attached for reference)
