Hello Adobe Community. I have a problem with a noise layer. I am working on Photoshop to reproduce a lith effect on my pictures.In order to have noise , I created a gray layer, then added noise with the "Add noise" filter. The layer is in "Linear light" blending mode. At the end, when I flatten the image, the result is a picture where noise is very present and the photography appears very faded behind ????? See below the result with and without a noise layer.I work with the latest version of PS v26.10 A big thank to anyone who can provide me with an explanation for this strange behavior.

Bonjour,  depuis la nouvelle version je n'arrive plus à avoir le détail de tout ce que je fais dans l'historique, j m'explique, avant par exemple à chaque fois que j'utilisé le correcteur localisé l'action apparaissait dans l'historique, maintenant que je me serve une fois ou 10 fois du correcteur ce n'est noté qu'une seule fois. Existe t'il un moyen de détailler l'historique pour chaque action, comme avant ? merci

Hallo,seit dem letzten Update wurde die selektive Farbkorrektur auf Farbbalnce abgeändert, somit kann man keine Farben mehr aus den Farbkanälen mehr reduzieren bzw. erweitern, Es geht jetzt nur noch eine Verschiebung von z. B. blau nach gelb. Das ist nicht das Werkzeug was es mal war, damit kann ich nicht arbeiten, da ich im Color Management das vorherige Werkzeug benötige. BITTE wieder die "Alte Version" mit anbieten.

If you have a layer that is using blend on it and you enter Liquidfy. the preview shows it WITHOUT the blend.

Hi everyone,  I have hundreds of folders with PSD files saved with Maximize Compatibility enabled. These are archives that I havent accessed in a while, are years old, tens of TBs, and I need to free up space.I want to batch remove the Maximize Compatibility option. I tried creating an action in Photoshop that adds an empty layer, deletes it, and saves the file with Maximize Compatibility disabled in the preferences, but for some reason the file size doesn’t decrease (possibly the file has been created with the option, and it won't disable it). I also tested the Image Processor with Maximize Compatibility turned off: this works but it generates a new folder of files. Then I have to manually go into each folder, delete the old PSDs, and move the new ones out of the subfolder. Is there a way to speed up or automate this process? thank you!

Bonjour J'ai une base d'illustration dans Illustrator en CMJN + 1 ton direct.Je l'importe dans photoshop (importer et incorporer) mais je n'arrive pas à récupérer mon ton direct. Ce qui est fou, c'est que si je double clic sur mon calque importé (dans photoshop) pour réouvrir dans illustrator, je vois bien mon ton direct. Hey folks,  I'm trying to open a raw file (or really any file) and use the new PS "Super Resolution" option.  But so far no luck.  The option does not appear in the contextual menu when I right click. I realize that there's a lot of ways to get this wrong, so for context here's what I'm doing:•Open Photoshop•File>Open>Select a Camera Raw File (5D mk III .cr2)•the file automatically opens in Camera Raw.•Right click on the image, navigate to... wait, it's not there!•Repeat with minor variations, infinitely. There is an "enhance details" option, but from reading about it, that doesn't seem to be the same thing, and it doesn't offer any super-resolution options. I've read through the other forum posts hoping I'd find an answer but no luck yet.  I've tried restarting, updating PS and Camera raw to the latest versions.  But no luck. Mac Pro  OS 11.4 Would really appreaciate any help!

You must enable clipboard permissions in order to cut, copy, and paste. I get the above prompt and cant figure out how to get around it.

Trying to replace the log siding on an exterior shot of a home with a different siding. Client asked if there was a semi-automated way to do this, so I tried content aware fill several times and it did not work at all. Wondering if anyone has ideas on a good approach. Maybe I’m using content aware fill wrong or maybe there’s an entirely different approach that would work. We have several shots of this wall, though none match the house exterior exactly. Thanks in advance for any tips.

The trouble is, say I move from Photoshop CC 2024 to CC 2025, since these are treated as separate application files rather than updates to the same one, the associated styles, brushes etc. are not transferred across. 

Greetings:I'm looking for any assistance with the following workflow process. I typically assign a red attribute label to all images imported back to LR after editing in PS (saving as a .psd).  Visually, this helps me identify at a quick glance within LR which images were edited externally. Currently, color labeling is done manually, when the .psd appears within LR, but I often forget. Is there any way to create an auto rule by which this could happen automatically? It could also apply to any other attribute rule: stars, flags, etc.  Many thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,I’m working on a flower illustration in Photoshop and I’ve run into a problem that I can’t solve on my own.In the original image (attached on the left), the flower looks solid and blends naturally with the background. However, in the edited version (right), the inside of the flower seems semi-transparent and the background shows through it.I’m not sure if this effect was created by “emptying” the flower’s inner area, by changing the blending mode, or by some kind of masking technique. I’ve tried different blending modes, masks, and opacity adjustments, but I still can’t replicate the exact result.Could anyone explain what technique might have been used here, and how I can achieve this effect properly in Photoshop?Any guidance or step-by-step explanation would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!

In Photoshop, when I use the Pen Tool to create a curved point, the next point always gets affected by the previous handle, making the path bend. I know using Alt/Option can fix this, but it causes my Photoshop to freeze after a while. Is there another way to keep the first point curved but make the next point straight without being influenced by the handle? or fix freezing when using alt 

I just seen where Adobe added a Star tool to PS. So, I started thinking may be Adobe Software Engineers could create a callout box tool? This could include a few designs to add humor to an image. The manual process is horrible if you have to create this each time. The shapes and colors would be awesome. In looking for an app to generate some comics I discovered PS is one of the highly recommended apps? I would think this would be a must have to allow creators to generate these on the fly? Unless there is an app of choice to create these boxes?

I am experiencing an issue with Photoshop and my other Adobe apps.My library function has stopped (does not sync) and I can no longer find any link between apps.I have PS  26.10.0,  Fresco 5.7.0, and Creative cloud 6.7.0.278.  I am on a PC windows 11.All have been unistalled and reinstalled as per the Adobe repair recommendations. (as well as cleaned per instructions)Basically I had multiple items, such as brushes that were loaded into PS and they migrated as designed over to Fresco. I shut down three nights ago and when I returned the next day all were gone from Fresco, my PS library panel (as well as Fresco's) are non functioning.Also, I can no longer impoprt brushes into Fresco. Either import or add from adobe.Any help would be appreciated, thanksDennis 

Lately I am not getting a preview of my work in the Liquify filter workspace.  I can see the mesh getting deformed but the image doesn't move. When I click Okay, the image shows the distortion.I'm on Windows 10 ProMy Graphics card is GeForce GTX 970 (Driver date is 10/27/2017 - the latest driver)Anybody know how to fix this?Dan

I was trying to fix the poke holes on a woman's stocking (from a 3D render) using generative filling and got this message "your action is against our guidence, please read PS guidence and try again"  there were no naked or inappropriate content whatsoever!  Funny thing is, I tried to do the same with a table's uneven color pattern, it worked like a charm, but when I try to do the work on a female, again nothing close to exposure of naked content or anything sensetive! it just blocks all my attempt! This tech can sometimes make 30 mins work in a sec, but it will be useless and die quickly if adobe don't sort out your censorship with exceeding boundries.   now I'm back using clone stamp doing repeatative labor.

How to borderless printing With photoshop When i use photo shop cs5 or 2015CC and i will print on 10*15 or 18*13cm i get border on top and bottom   I've tried a lot of changes does not help.printer I from Picasa or any other services, image programm at the computer, printed correctly without the top and bottom.why is it so hard to print in photoshop properly.hope none has one answer to this.Christmas greetings from Birgitte.

So I saved my PSD file this morning and when I came home later, PS didn't want to re-open it, either giving me a loading cursos with nothing after that, or throwing a generic error message. The file is fine, I'm sure, because I can import it into other CS apps like Lightroom or AfterEffects, but PS has a problem for some reason. I have Windows 11, 24GB RAM and an AMD Radeon laptop graphics. The file itself doesn't have that many layers, around 50, I think.Any help, please?

Hi there, I'm having this issue on both Photoshop 2024 v.25.12.0 and Photoshop 2025 v.26.1.0 See attached image. Previously in the Print Settings dialogue, there was an option for media type that had multiple paper type options (e.g. fine art dense, matte photo paper, platinum, etc.). And now there's only the options for paper type to select auto select, photo, or plain paper. I still have my ICC profiles. So I can select Photoshop Manages Colors and then select my profile. But because I can't select the media type specifically the prints are coming out all wrong. Is this a horrible managed PS update? Or is something wrong with my set up? What I've tried so far:Updated to the most current versions of PSDeleted the printer (Canon Pro-1000) as well as all the files under /libraryChecked that I am on the latest printer firmware (it is current)Updated/reinstalled the printer driverReinstalled the printer I've been struggling with a strong magenta cast on my printed imag
