Hello, I am trying to create a Gif from an exported png sequence on After effects to Photoshop to create a GIF. When I checked the box titled "Image sequence" in photoshop, it only uploads 1 frame and not the sequence of images in the folder to create and then export a GIF. I have updated to the 2025 version of Photoshop.
Hello Community,I want to share some of the issues I have been confronted with, and I hope for someone or Adobe to clarify or bring some fixes to this.It all started with the Scrubby Zoom functionality breaking on any documents, except the first one open. It happened mostly while using Photoshop on my laptop display, but not when using my external monitor. To investigate, I got the latest Driver update from Nvidia via the Nvidia RTX Experience app, which offers another driver. But then things got even more complicated. The behaviour is that Photoshop randomly recognizes my GPU, when it does not, it asks me to install a new driver. When I get the one from the Nvidia app, it bugs completely and does not recognize my GPU at all. I have uninstalled and switched between different drivers, and Photoshop versions (v25.11 and v25..9.1). But no clear patterns of a bug seem to emerge. I suspect a conflict between my discrete GPU and Intel graphic, but this is hard to pinpoint. There is a
I recently upgraded to MacOS Sequoia 15.0 on my MacBook Pro M2 and after selecting Rosetta (within Get Info) in the Photoshop 25.12 application, I was unable to open the Extension and I received the following message:
Have just updated to Photoshop 2024 and my save to web panel is now not displaying correctly - see screengrab. How can I adjust it to have the full image fill the four windows? cheers, Bob
For the last week or two Adobe has been popping up ads to "upgrade my plan" in Photoshop. (Seriously guys? I already pay for this software, there are cheaper and/or free alternatives coming out every day, and you're spamming us to suck more money? You think this is a good idea?) There is a "stop for seven days" check box (hidden, that you have to scroll down to see), but no option for "[removed by moderator]" How do I stop these? Or, rather, I should say, is there a way to stop these other than dumping my Adobe subscription altogether, which is what it seems Adobe is trying to get me to do? {Title updated to address current messaging}
Bad enough that there's no option to disable "popups on startup" that I could find in the settings. I clicked on "No thank you" a dozen times and it wouldn't go away.my computer beeped me when I tried to click outside of the modal.I had to force-close Photoshop and Re-open it.
After the 2025 update I cannot remove objects/people from an image, the Ai replaces the item I am trying to remove with a random object (coffee mugs seems favourite). I have tried the remove tool and Generative fill and they both do the same. I have also been to settings - Image Proccessing and change everything to 'Stable' I switched back to PS 2024 and it all works fine!
I use Photoshop droplets to convert print PDFs exported from InDesign to JPGs for proofing. I'm getting an error on a handful of PDFs since updating to version 25.9. "Could not open "filename.pdf" because this is not an Adobe Photoshop PDF image" I reverted back to v25.7 and they process just fine. I don't see anything obviously different with these PDFs vs the others that don't cause an error. I'm exporting as PDF v1.4, and I've tried exporting as v1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 but still getting the same error. If I export as v1.3 they process fine, but that involves flattening which is not an option for my workflow. I've isolated objects in the InDesign file that cause the issues, but there's no consistency. One file was using a placed PDF and the file processed fine when I left that out. Another file had a group of objects, specifically two circles, one on top of another with an image in one of them. When I simply nudged the top circle without the image up 1pt with
This bug occured when I had open an image with a resolution of 766 px by 10 px, and I was working in the typical 8-bit RGB colorspace. I had the pixel grid enabled, and I was zoomed in at 4853.72%. I opened the Color Range selection tool, and when the selection preview was set to "Grayscale", an extra row of the pixel grid appeared underneath the image, without a bottom edge. None of the other selection preview options engender this visual error.
There seems to be an issue with Photoshop 2023, which the Perspective Warp tool makes the images appear upside down. It is only after approval that the images resume their orginal position. ie Correct way up.What is going on? Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.1.0 20221206.r.166 be4691b x64 [confusing typo fixed by mod]
On many occassions I'm having images I open up in Photoshop camera RAW look like something from the Matrix movies. My first question is, has anyone else seen this and how did you fix it?I've tries some suggestions about performance settings, but they never seem to have a lasting effect.I'm not really interested in a "what OS, what version, what camera RAW file, etc..." conversation. Somebody else has had to have this happen and I just can't find a Q&A that has the answer.Examples below. With the final image being what it looks like in other programs RAW.
Photoshop Version 25.11.00Windows 11 ProVersion 23H2OS build 22631.4037My library panel continuously resets to the front panel (not my library) and I keep running into a prompt to add libraries to my adobe apps, followed by a pop tutorial that doesn't obey the "skip" command. But my libraries are already defined as well as my workspace. It's hard to say what causes it or when, it just seems to happen often and randomly. Instead of showing the color palettes of "my library", it defaults to the previous screen showing all libraries and presents this popup for "add libraries". Attached is a screenshot of the panel that pops up. After clicking done, it goes into another 3 step popup that will not skip unless clicked 2x or more. This seems to be a bug, but is there a workaround? How to stop this? [Mod: Moved to the bug section of the Photoshop forum]
Issue: I am working in AdobeRGB and have a smart object (B) with a displace effect on it. When I update the displace effect, everything works as expected, but when I wrap it into an new smart object (A) and save this one the displacement is gone. I think it has something to do with the color space, because when I tried it in sRGB it worked. Photoshop version: 26.1.0OS: 15.0.1Steps to reproduce: Create a smart object with a displace effect on it Open smart object and save itThe displacement is gone. Expected result: The displacement keeps working when I update the smart object.Actual result: The displacement disappears after updating the smart object.
Since an update to Photoshop 25, on Windows 11, in June '24(not sure of exact version), the 'file info' dialogue box is appearing off the bottom of the screen. The file info window used to be a landscape rectangular box, but since June '24, it has changed to a portrait rectangular box, with the 'Preferences', 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons off the bottom of screen. The only way to access the buttons is drag the title bar to the top of screen. This is extremely disruptive to editorial photographers workflow, who have to caption every image separately. The issue still persists in the very latest Photoshop 26.0, months later. Only workaround I can come up with is to revert to Photoshop 25.5.
Recently I've been trying to use camera raw to adjust clarity and texture. Without modifying white balance, color or temperature it changes the entire image to a dull and grayish image. Even if I don't change anything, by going into Camera Raw changes the color.
In Photoshop's latest version, when you select a regular rasterized layer, go to layer properties, and select more you get options or actions on that layer. It works the first time you use this. But then if you have another rasterized layer, even if it is on a different document and you go to layer properties and select more, Photoshop opens a new blank document. The only workaround is to close Photoshop, restart it, and then select your new regular rasterized layer, and the "show more" works correctly for one time only.
The new Photoshop 26.1 crashes when using the Remove Tool. More specifically, when the "Removing Area" loading bar appears, the application closes before it completes. I tested with the AI mode both "on" and "off", and the issue occurred in both cases. The crash is not immediate, as the tool sometimes works without problems, but the error has been consistently recurring across multiple files.I'm running Photoshop on MacOs Sequoia with a M2 Mac. On preferences, changing the Remove Tool Processing from "Faster" to "More Stable" didn't make any difference on the issue.
Photoshop's last 3 updates, I have noticed after the last three updates when closing photoshop. and then trying to open it again within like 10 minutes it will not load I have to go into task manager and manually close it.. this is painful Windows 11 all updated, dell 5620 laptop and 16 gigs of ram
It doesnt matter what I select, this menu keeps popping up. How do I get Adobe to quit spamming me with this?

When enhancing an image with Filters, I often use the Oil Paint filter with wonderful results.Lately when I click Filter: Stylize: Oil Paint - - - and apply that filter to my image it produces, in addition to the filter process, an odd black line within an hoizontally squeezed duplicate of the original image with obvious edges, inset at the left side. This has happened multiple times with multiple different original images and I get the same result each time I use that Filter. Images below.Ann KMaggieRossDogs
Hello,I have contacted customer support which directed me to the Community Forums so hopefully someone will be able to help. Context:Around the end of 2022, I downloaded Ps cc2018 (v19.0.0) as well as the Creative Cloud app through a licence provided by my school (as part of my studies), on my computer currently running macOS 10.13.I have just finished my studies, and therefore the creative cloud license from my school terminated early July (07/07/2024). Therefore, I decided to pay for the Photography plan which allows for a desktop version of photoshop. I started the "free-trial" (7-days) and payed for the plan. The Ps cc2018 app launched as usual, asking me to sign-in and showing that I was on a free-trial. When the free-trial ended, I was still able to use the app - something I expected since I had already payed for the subscription (and received a confirmation email). Today while working, due to some lag, I decided to quite Ps cc2018. On relaunching the app, the PDApp laun
