Hi,Since recently, any new fonts which i install don't appear in Photoshop unless i restart the application. I have to close all my projects and reopen just to see this new font. It’s a bit annoying !Thanks for your help !Photoshop version 26.11.2Apparently, same issue with Illustrator...

this version makes Photoshop not work on Ventura anymore. At least mark it as “not compatible” instead of making me download an app that just refuses to boot

Hi, after a recent Photoshop or macOS update, I noticed a problem with Save As on Mac.When I open a PSD file and use Save As, the filename field shows the current file name with the .psd extension. If I replace the whole filename with a new name, for example testname, and keep Format: Photoshop selected, Photoshop saves the file without the .psd extension.So the saved file is:testnameinstead of:testname.psdThis did not happen before. Since Microsoft Intune was installed on my Windows 11 machine, PhotoShop, InDesign and Premiere Pro regularly freeze for 20 to 30 seconds. During this time the applications do nothing but I can switch to a browser or email client and use those just fine. Once the Adobe app ‘recovers’, it continues to work fine for another few minutes, at which point in time it will freeze again for 20 to 30 seconds.Task Manager shows no excessive CPU load during these freezes. There is still plenty of spare RAM available on the 64BG i7 portable.As I already said, all the Adobe applications that I use do this, but I spend the most time using Photoshop. The freezes are very annoying and sometimes force me to redo actions that were interrupted. Tips and tricks to resolve this are appreciated. Our own IT team cannot fix it and claims no one else in the company has this specific issue.

I had to reinstall Photoshop yesterday and now my computer is telling me that I already have it installed on 2 computers and if I don't deactivate one of them I won't be abel to use it. I only have it installed on one computer and I just reinstalled it on that one. My deactivate button wasn't available. I can't contact anyone at adobe. Color Mechanic (plug in filename is ColorMechanic2-64.8bf) is a plugin that's not been supported for several years. However, I have receently installed it on another Windows 11 machine running Photoshop 2025 and it works fine. However, when I first try to use it (Filters>Digital Light & Color>Color Mechanic), it prompts me to enter the activation key. Before I can do that, the activation window disappears and Photoshop locks up. Is there a reason this plugin won't work in PS 2026? I had no trouble activating it on machines running earlier versions of Photoshop.

When I open Photoshop the camera raw filter either only works one time or not at all. In beta it used to work just fine now it does the same thing. I have reset preferences several times, same problems.

I should not be charged for AI services nor will i pay just to use them. If it was an actual person on the other side of the screen I would say charge me but it's a replacement for a person that also isn't as good as a person. not to mention it's just a combination of a bunch of peoples work and words

Enable generator is checked off in Preferences so I'm not sure what else to do.  I work in photoshop all day for an in-house corporation I really can't afford to be missing this. Please help! 

I need a current answer to this question for Mac OS 11. I just set up a new computer, and Adobe "helpfully" installed scores of completely-useless-to-me profiles (various camera types, etc) that  I have to scroll through, in order to get to the handful that I actually use. I need to get these things off my system (or, at the very least, group them together at the bottom of the list, somehow) in order to not have my workflow grind to a halt, having to scroll through all of this stuff I did not want or ask for. Please help! They are not in the ColorSync folder in LIbrary, btw. I've looked everywhere

Tried saving a file using save as and save optimised but can't paste copied text from clipboard or any other text?

The “@” sign is very working in Effra CC Variable in Photoshop. The screenshot resembles an Photoshop window with at sign at maximum size with Medium weight. The document shows other fonts: “Museo Sans, Gibson, DIN 2014, Aktiv Grotesk” with heavy weights.

When working with images (png., jpg., tiff etc) I no longer see thumbnails of the images in the directory I am working in. If I open the image and do some work on it and then do a Save as, move to the directory I want to save in I still do not see any thumbnails of the images in the directory, only generic icons. I have not changed any settings in Photoshop so don’t know what has happened.

I have used the generative fill for a long time and never had this issue before, and now its doing it every time on all projects. If I use generative fill to either remove or create, the resulting layer has a halo. If I merge or flatten, or even save it as a jpeg and open it as a separate file, the halo is still there and can’t be removed. I’ve tried to erase it, clone stamp it, no matter what the result ALWAYS has a halo that moves with the tool. I’ve attached a video of a real quick ugly example (not me doing good work, just illustrating the problem). Any help is appreciated.

Hi there. Hoping someone may have a fix to this issue. Since installing Adobe Photoshop 2025 (Version 26.1.0), all but two of the printer profiles have disappeared from my printer profile options. I've currently been exporting as a high quality PNG and printing them through illustrator, but this is inconvenient. I've spent hours of googling and even reached out to Adobe tech chat, which annoyingly enough, the person I was talk to ended the chat with no contect after about 30 minutes. I did find that if I copy my ICC file from the spool/drivers folder and place it in c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\adobe\color\settings, the speceific ICC profile and all the missing usual ones return. BUT THEN, they all disappear from Illustrator and I can't get them back there either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has been driving me insane the last couple of days. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled both Photoshop and Illustrator a couple of times. Didn't work. I also u

My Photoshop program suddenly won't allow me to click on a layer by clicking on the image. I can only get to the right layer by sifting through the layers in the layer window. This has never happened before, and I'm hoping there's a fix?    Also, I'm using this program on Windows.   Thanks for your help!

The Harmonize feature is not working in Photoshop. I’ve spoken with support twice on this issue and was told it’s a known bug. When I click “Harmonize” on an overlay layer, Photoshop looks like it’s processing but produces an error message, “We’ve encountered an error and your request cannot be processed. Please try again later.” Everything is up-to-date and has been closed out + restarted, but still not working. Would love to see this fixed soon as it’s now day 3 of not being able to work on photos.

My photoshop only opens in safe mode when I sideline all plugins… however, even when I rename the plugins folder (to make it invisible to the application) it still won’t open in anything but safe mode, any suggestions?I even resorted to completely uninstalling photoshop and erasing the settings in the library, to be able to make sure that new settings get installed with the new version, but still get the crash, and am only able to open in safe mode… What on earth is up?

I’m trying to find a way to have custom gradients save permanently under my gradient presets in the gradient editor. I have tried everything: importing gradients, exporting gradients, clicking the new button, but no matter what I do every time I close and reopen photoshop all of my custom gradients are gone (I can reimport them, but I want them to just show up in their own presets folder automatically).I know it’s possible because I do have one custom gradient that saves and returns every time I reopen photoshop, but it was years ago and I don’t know how I did it.

When you have several layers selected, and some of them are vector layers, and you try to do a scale transformation on all of them at once, only the vector layers get transformed; the raster layers remain unchanged. You have to deselect all the vector shapes in the Paths palette before it will work. This is stupid and annoying. If I wanted to scale only the vector layers, I would have selected only the vector layers. Also, as you can see in the video, the last vector element (the bottom form field) didn't get selected or scaled with the others, even though its layer was selected. So the whole thing is jacked up and doesn't work in any intelligent or intuitive way.
