Photoshop

Neural filters are not loading in the current regular version of Photoshop or in the current version of Photoshop Beta.  I tried all of the troubleshooting and fixes suggested online, like disabling and re-enabling the GPU, clearing the cache, re-authenticating my account, uninstalling and re-installing Photoshop, etc.  Nothing worked.  This is relatively new.  Any recommendations on how to fix this or is it a problem for others, too?

Can't believe have to post about this This  ANNOYING thing block layers, so cant see what doing in photoshop.  I played the annoying video, still comes up! Help! thanks. Im a 25 year user, what have some department at Adobe, just dedicated to annoying it's users? Thanks!  Too many employees?   

Why does the Photoshop remover tool always fail? In both AI and non-AI modes? Even though my internet connection is fine? But when I switch to the object remover mode that uses tokens, it immediately runs smoothly. I'm using Photoshop 2026 version 27.7.0 with a Mac mini m4.

Rotating a layer consisting a plate with some meal on it, the preview show the right image, but after rendering the plate absolutely disappearing. If turn the plate upside down the render seems correct.

 ..it's the mode I need like 95% of the time - but for some reason it keeps reverting to "Background (default)" or "Transparent (default)" eventually when opening further images....making it necessary to manually choose "Content-Aware Fill" over and over again (I probably do this 300 times a month)..One instance where it changes away from the manually-set "Content-Aware Fill" is when I open a file with more than one layer (background layer being locked by default).The problem is the fill mode then changes to "Background (default) for all open files, and all files I open from there on out.The only "solution" to set it back to "Contant-Aware" is to quit PS, open it again without a file, set crop tool, set "Content-Aware Fill", close PS, open it again..Also it doesn't seem to make sense in the first place as to why the fill mode changes - when opening a single-layer file (with locked background) it will happily stay with "Content-Aware" - see attached screenshots..This is really

Please help! I got the scratch disk full error and after I dismissed it the screen froze and I can't click on anything. Photoshop is still open. How do I resolve the issue and not lose my unsaved work? I am on Windows.

I have never been able to successfully upscale images in PS 2026.  When the upscale completes, I get a black layer.  No upscale.  I’ve tried all of the suggestions in other threads to no avail. Please help!Here is my system info: https://pastebin.com/BYhq5tH6 

Hello I'm on Windows 10, my questionhow can I restore erased elements the way I want (without using history).In other words I want to use the eraser to trace some areas back just like the stamp clone feature but without cloning the area insteade recovering back the original part that was erased.Should I use 2 layers in here? how many ways can I achieve that?  

HelloI am on version 27.8. Photoshop has been freezing constantly. I cannot make a single edit without the whole app freezing. I also cannot close the app as it stays frozen on the screen. I posted yesterday that I am also having freezing issues on Premiere Pro, specifically with playback. I updated Photoshop CC today to 27.8.0 and the alt key no longer functions (this may be a coincidence but it was working fine yesterday). It won’t activate the color picker for the brush tool, it won’t select an area with the clone stamp tool, etc. When I use the on-screen keyboard, the tools work correctly. The alt key on my physical keyboard works fine with other software that also uses the alt key. For the clone stamp tool I am using a file with only one layer, no selections, current layer and below, etc. I tried all the things that I could find online.PS reset toolPS reset preferences on quitPS disable use graphics processorPS disable GPU compositingWin11 settings - Disable Windows Sticky & Filter Keysrestart computerdisable NVIDIA overlayAny assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm encountering the same issue when using the remove tool with generative AI turned on.No matter how big or small the area you want to remove is, the blue bar stalls for around 1-2 minutes, and then an orange box shows: 'Please check your internet connection and try again.'However, when you turn the generative AI off, it works normally.Does anyone else have the same problem?Using Photoshop 27.8.0 on Apple M1 Max 64gb Ram. 

I am trying to make it appear that a photo of someone wearing white, open toed sandals is barefoot. Several attempts using cloning and the remove tool have not given convincing results. I am not a big fan of generative fill, but that might offer some help.  Any ideas?Thanks.George ButchPlantation, FL

I am using the latest version of Photoshop beta on my computer. Every time I open the programme, I get the warning "feature level 11.0 available; feature level 12.0 required". Olá, pessoal.Estou com um problema no Photoshop e não consigo descobrir a causa. Algumas combinações de teclas funcionam normalmente, mas outras, principalmente envolvendo Ctrl, Alt e Shift, não respondem ou funcionam apenas às vezes.O mais estranho é que consigo digitar normalmente em outros programas e não percebo nenhum problema no uso diário do teclado.Antes de redefinir as preferências ou reinstalar o Photoshop, gostaria de confirmar se todas as teclas e combinações estão sendo reconhecidas corretamente pelo computador.Alguém já passou por algo parecido? Como vocês costumam verificar se o problema está no teclado ou nas configurações do Photoshop?Obrigado!

When I select tool via key command, it changes to a different tool. Not all the time but often. Click "z", zoom icon highlighted for a split second. Then the Move tool is highlighted instead. Same with the eyedropper and brush tools. 

The entire app stalls out in the middle of a process and the beach ball pops up. It 's happening with all tools and at all stages. I've upgraded PS, checked for sortware updates for my mac , closed all other apps , still no change .

Já faz algum tempo, e em 2 computadores diferentes, que o programa SEMPRE, sem exceção, crasha quando tento abrir algum arquivo diferente do formato .png (seja em .CR3, .JPEG, .JPG,...)Tentei todas as soluções possíveis, desde desinstalar e instalar novamente, redefinir preferências e afins. O Câmera Raw não abre e também ocorre o crash quando tento usar a opção "Editar no Photoshop" no Lightroom.Gostaria de uma solução, pois ficar convertendo arquivos em .png toda vez que preciso usar a ferramenta é, além de contraproducente, incoerente pra uma ferramenta desse porte. 

In Photoshop 2026 the Select Subject is considerable slower  that in Photoshop 2025.Previously the selection was almost instant. I have a Macbook Pro both M1 Pro and M4 Pro, in both on Photoshop 2026 the Select Subject is considerable slower that in Photoshop 2025, even on the fastest M4 Pro it takes 3 to 5 seconds to load the selection.I use this tool almost in all of my images, I’m a professional retoucher working for a big retail company, I retouch around 250 to 300 images a day, that’s up to 25min a day of waiting for the tool to load the selection.. That’s a lot.I’ve tried use the Cloud option on settings, but it is the same.Why were these changes implemented? Is there any intention on getting it as it was before?For now I have to downgrade to Photoshop 2025 as the 2026 is useless to me.Thanks.

Just installed CS6 onto a new computer. I opened up Photoshop but a notice says I have to deactivate the serial number from another computer. I just did that, but I still can't get rid of the notice that pops up.
