Photoshop

I'm getting a "Camera RAW requires graphics processor acceleration to edit photos" message in Photoshop 2025. Never had it before. MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.1.1. I've checked the Battery settings and Automatic graphics switching is off. Please advice?

I was very sure that in CS6 you could get an options box that looked like this in the properties menu in order to edit the corners of a rounded rectangle. I've tried the commonly suggested solution of selecting the "paths selection tool" (black arrow) in order to reselect the rectangle and then the correct properties box would, in theory, show up. That has not worked for me. I've also been told of the possibility that CS6 doesn't have that options box that I'm looking for at all, which I'm pretty sure isn't true, because I'm rather certain I've used it before in CS6 (though it's not impossible that I could be wrong). Right now the masking options are all I'm getting, as demonstrated below.Are there any other solutions to this issue, or does CS6 REALLY not have that options box and no option to simply edit the roundness of corners on rectangles?

I have an image I want to crop to a specific dimension. In my case, I want to keep the crop aligned to the right side of the image with the top and bottom edges also aligned. Is there a way to do this in Photoshop? Note I'm not changing the height, but moving the crop rectangle to the far right.Thank youDavid

I've been trying to do this for many months but always ended up too confused and intimidated to go further. So no matter how dumb this question is, I have to ask it. My C drive has absolutely no space left. Disk cleanup, etc., does almost nothing to free up space. There just isn't any left and the drive is too small. I don't know when I'll be able to replace it with a much larger drive and move everything, including the OS. I uninstalled Photoshop and now want to reinstall it on a different drive. All updates, files, etc., everything associated with it, must also go on that drive. (any files saved to the desktop computer are already in the D drive and have been for a long time.) I'm trying to do it according to the Adobe instructions ("Change the install location of your Creative Cloud apps"), , but it isn't working. Account, preferences, apps, install, Select Location, pick D drive, just brings up the message that it can't install to the root folder. I just don't know where to go from

Hi community, I am looking to replicate this effect on the background through Photoshop. It seems to be an overlay with a mix of effects applied to it; I've tried to replicate it using glow, distortion, chromatic aberration, and dithering, but without success.Does someone know how I could replicate it in Photoshop?Thanks! 

When batching with the new denoise feature there is an issue with fine-tuning the strength. With a large amount of files batched it seems to default with 50, but when trying to adjust the slider it does not allow me to "click and drag" - it just adjusts to the spot on the slider that I first click. Similarly, if I wanted to dial in "65" it starts the adjustment as soon as I type in the 6 and adjusts the slider down to 6 - there is no way to dial in a two-digit number before it adjusts.

Not sure if this is a question or a bug, but we'll start as a discussion first. I'm a cover designer, and typically when I start working, I'll block off the back, spine, and bleeds so I can see what the cover is going to look like in isolation. To avoid distraction, I'll actually color pick the pasteboard (the grey background in Photoshop) so the blocked off bits look like they're part of the pasteboard itself. This works perfectly fine 100% of the time, until today. When I color pick the pasteboard (which is #282728 btw) the color picker gives me a lighter shade of grey (#888888). My workaround would be to save the accurate color as a Adobe Cloud asset or something, but I rather just pick and go, and I also want to be sure it's not part of a larger issue that's going to bite me. Attached are examples. I'm running the latest version of Photoshop (26.3.0, for post posterity) and on OS Sequoia 15.3.1. 

This is a terrible feature to me. Personally, I prefer seeing the expansion list within the panel. This separate panel covers art immediately and I cannot seem to move its location. If I could reposition it, it would probably not be as terrrible but it's dead center.  Anyone know a fix for this? TIA!

Running Mac OS Monterey v 12.7.4MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)Processor 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7Memory 16gb 1600mhz DDR3 When attempting to slice and "save for web (legacy)" the menu link is greyed out and unavailable. I just just this function on Friday, came in Monday and this happens. I've tried it on PS v26.3, v25.0, and v2.2 - none of them work. I have also uninstalled any potentially conflicting plugins. 

Hi,Can anyone help me with a brush for photoshop that is similar to this style, made in procrete? (I dont know the name of the brush it in procreate) I have looked all around internet, just to find brushed that are more static stippled. The brush will be used on shadows and highlights like in the reference.Any ideas?

App: Photoshop v26.3 (though I tried to go back to v26.2 and it had the same problem)Computer: Windows 11 v24H2Issue: Can't use Outfit font in Photoshop - though I could before the recent update, and I can in all other Adobe tools.I can use Outfit (installed as a static font, not a variable one) on all my Adobe apps... EXCEPT Photoshop. How is this even possible? I have confirmed it is installed correctly in the system (Win 11), cleared the cache, reinstalled the app and the machine. Nothing works. Other fonts also don't appear in Photoshop, but they do elsewhere - this is just one example.How can you make an image editing tool that can't load basic system fonts like all your other apps do?

Here's my issue: I'm trying to add an inner shadow on my layer, but when I try to change the stroke, even by just 1%, it fills out the entire layer with the shadow color. The preview works fine, but in the layer, it's doing this weird thing.Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm on PS 21.0.1

After a recent Windows system restore Photoshop flashes but only when I move the cursor. I have tried all of the remedies for "Photoshop Flashing" without success. These issues seem to be a constant flashing but mine only happens when cursor is moved. Here's my PC specs. CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7600XMOBO - Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AXMemory - G.Skill DDR5-6000 (4 ea 16Gb. I've only lately have had issues with generative fill inserting random objects into areas.I do a lot of image touch-ups and extensions, often not putting anything into the "what would you like to generate" box and just letting the AI fill based on surroundings (often not very large areas).Recently, I've removed a crane from the sky and it put in what appeared to be a drone. I've extended water and it put in a duck, added some land and put a fox on the land (!!??).This has only been in the most recent version 26.2.0

Sometimes when I select one of my saved crop presets, it shows the dimensions for the saved present above it in my list. The preset I want is selected, but then it crops to another set of dimensions. It happens almost daily. Is there a fix to this? 

Hi all, when I'm openining a new document I am opting to have a white background. When the document opens the background looks grey/blue-tinted and not white. Even the colours in the Swatches and custom colour picker- the white looks grey. Not sure how to work around this issue after looking around. Any ideas? Just for reference, I do not have a filter/effect on my monitor, everything else on my screen is perfectly white. The background to this website is white, even any text/numbers/icons in Photoshop are white. When it comes to the actual documents and any colouring tools that relate to the document are off-white or not true white. Thanks!

R:128 G:128 B:128Actual result: R: 147 G: 123 B: 114 Attached you find 2 images. One picture is from the Intel Mac, de RGB values behaviour with Sample in "image to set gray point" tool are not right. We have confirmed this on multiple images with multiple sample points. The second image is from a M3 Max, same Photoshop Version, the result is as expected, neutral. 

Dear Photoshop community, I am trying to use the generative AI feature just to test but no matter what I do I can't get the panel to show me the three variations, I have picked a photo and unlocked the layer, I can see the generative AI prompt ..."pick say for example 'clouds'', I can see to the right, panel trying to generate three variants but then disappears. What am I doing wrong, please be kind in responses as the last time I used photoshop was 20 years ago on version 5. TIA

So, it used to be in any Adobe software that if you clicked the X by mistake the "would you like to save before you quit" pop would show up, and than you could click yes and than cancel, and then you could resume work  as normal. But for some reason that is beyond my comprihension, your PM at adobe (which i must say are doing a very very poor job in the last 10 or so years) decided to axe that "feature" and now if you hit quit or X by mistake, you can not in any way cancel it. even if you click "yes" for save and then cancel it, Photoshop is going back to do you want to save before you quit. and there is no way to cancel it. what are you thiunking there Adobe? are you actually using your products? ha? So, if I have 10 or 20 open documents and I hit quit by mistake I must save ALL the files quit and than open photoshop again and open all the files again.You guys need a serious kick to the b*t. like seriously, and I don't even mention how slow blopated, buggy, RAM houngry,

I have not updated my photoshop in a while so I'm not sure if I somehow didn't noticed this until now or it changed without my updating (seems unlikely, but that's what it feels like). I'm on 26.2. The dropdown that used to say "free, fixed ratio, fixed size" is gone and in its place is "generate image, import image" which seems to sort of do the same thing as the first two options with just less clear verbiage, but fixed size isn't possible.
