Photoshop

How do I get access? I am using the student discounted version of adobe creative cloud and it won't give me access. Please help

Adobe states that PSD is for files that are up to 30k x 30k and PSB files are files up to 330k x 300k in resolution.  I have a file that is 168960 px by 39492 px.  So, I saved it at PSB.  Now that I'm done with layering, etc., I flattened the image and again saved it to PSB.  What I want to do now is save to another format.  Photoshop gives me several options that do not work; PNG and TIFF (4GB limit).  I was successful in saving a PNG, but after it was done, I was unable to view the file in another application. I wasn't even able to open it in Photoshop.  The file is 8-bit, no layers.  How does one save (or export) to another file format?

In Photoshop can you change settings so that when you save an edited file it doesn't erase the information in the EXIF Property "Subject" and "Comments" fields?This is when saving TIFF to a different filename or saving as JPEG from TIFF in particular

The Descreen control in Import > "Image from device" has dissappeard.  It used to allow for different levels of Descreening. It was very effective. Did Adobe remove that function?

Greetings to the whole community I recently bought mac mini m1 and Extendscript is not compatible I would like to convert files from jsx to jsxbin Are there alternatives or solutions?

GPU problem.   Relatively new HP with NVIDIA GeForce laptop GPU.   Editing photos every time I use masking something crashes and I get a popup telling me the GPU has been disabled and I can no longer use masking nor denoise and often the system locks up.  May happen on the first use or the second or third but if I edit several photos, sooner or later it happens. Restart and the problem goes away but comes back.   Checked and I think I have the latest drivers for the NVIDIA.   Any suggestions on how to fix this? 

Hello everyone, I am doing a project on photoshop and I imported an image there, I would like to create an outline for it and delete the image to keep only the outline. can someone please help me.

Would be nice to have a toggle that turns off the layer object but keep the Layer Style on. For example, like in AE, would like to apply shadow to an object, but not see the object and only have the shadow layer style in use... etc...

Unable to load NEF files from my Nikon Z50ii.  I followed the directions to manually upload and install the 17.1 version, to no avail.  I am really upset that I spent the money and still can't use it!   My OS is Win 11, i tried both installers, one would't even let me try it.  

Opening any PDF file bigger than 106.666" wide or tall Photoshop automatically squishes the file back to 106.666". A work around is creating a PSD file at the same size as your PDF and then placing the PDF within. Comes in at 100% no issues. My question is why is there a size limit when opening a PDF in PSD? Should Photoshop not issue a warning if it is going to create a distorted file?

All ive done is install creative cloud and photoshop, just wanting to know if these kind of files are normal. I got a request from "LogTransport" that threw me off.

Hello all,I am on Mac I've been having this issue where, upon startup, Photoshop is displaying that my external drive has the same amount of space as the mac storage, despite the drive having 836 gb of free space. It's not allowing me to boot up Photoshop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now, un and replugged my drive, restarted my computer, and the problem is still persisting. Please help!! En las versiones anteriores seleccionaba la capa que quisera con solo hacer clic sobre ella pero no puedo en esta versión y no sé si me falta algún ajuste.Necesito ayuda, gracias !!

As per title,up until 2024, when navigating the finder through a Photoshop export or link dialog, we were able to add folders into the favourites column as normal.Why on earth was that removed in Photoshop 2025? We used it all the time, it's a small but frustrating usability detail.Cheers

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I'm having an issue with the content aware fill.  Everytime I try to use it, it is not generating a proper fill.  Normally on my photos it will remove the object (in my case now I'm using it to remove logos from my photos) and replace the background.  I've used this feature many times.  NOW when I try to use it, all it's doing is creating a pattern, and placing that pattern completely over my image!  This is BEYONE annoying, and I'm wasting time trying to figure out what changed, and why!

I've had an issue with the brush and eraser tools since last fall. I've always been able to click and drag the eraser or the brush tool to erase/brush a line, but now the tools only work with single click. So every time I want to erase something, I have to keep moving the tool incrementally and clicking to erase. Same with drawing with the brush tool. I've checked settings and Opacity and Flow are at 100%. The brush shape spacing is set to the default 25% (I even tried it at 1% to see if that would change anything). I've tried closing and restarting Photoshop and downloading the latest version of Photoshop and none of that helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 

I am using ps express on both my android phone & windows laptop but I cannot find the confirm or ✅️ button to action it i.e when I go to crop or adjust something. Am I missing something, I have looked everywhere?w

Hi,Pshop 26.2 RAW converter 17.1.1I have a photo taken within a helicopter, after applying dehaze which is an awesome, tool, the sky is now an atrocious cyan colour bleeding down across the farthest part of the landscape, I reach for the mask and gradient tool, drag it down to where the cyan over the landscape ends, and adjust to a better blue BUT the effect fizzles out halfway down the gradient.This needs a logarithmic gradient, so where is the midpoint controller to drag down or even up for those users that dont need effects evenly spread throughout but more near the top ? Gradients need such adjustability on the logarithmic nature of them. CheersMerlin3

Photoshop pen stops working intermittently. I'll be drawing, and it will just stop recongizing my input up to 1 to 3 seconds. It increases in frequency as I work, and zooming in and out will fix it temporarily. The issue doesn't appear to be lag, all my tools work with the computer mouse.  I have the most up to date Photoshop, and unfortuanlty can't update my computer's drives because Microsoft stop supporting Windows 10. I use the first generatio Microsoft Studio machine. This bug has been the bane of my existance for years, I have never been able to find the correct fix for it.Please let me know if this sounds familar. 

Hello,On second 13", on the upcoming image, there is a bug, some flashing "into" the image.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tl2Qec81r2gIt's slight there, but a lot more visible on other parts of the film.Happens on video too.I'm no good on technical issues, and programmation langage, etc.On the timeline, the video is fine, it's the export file that has this bug.Seems it occurs when the contrast of light is too high between the previous and next image (but not sure about that one).If someone can help, would be great!
