Photoshop

Whenever I try to send an image from Lightroom cc to Photoshop cc, Photoshop crashes and won't open the image.

I have had this problem for the last few iterations of Photoshop, but I can't remember when it started. I am surprised that I haven't seen anyone else mention it.When I move the screen (for instance, when at 100% on a large document) using flicks on my Magic Mouse (Mac OS, of course), the screen will continue scrolling for 10-15 or more seconds after my last flick. This means that it is basically impossible to scroll using flicks on the mouse. I find using the space bar + drag much less intuitive and much slower, and since I can barely see the scroll bars in the modern Mac user interface, I am spending way too much time doing things that used to be dead simple.Is there anything I can do about this?(MacOS Mojave 10.14.2, Photoshop 20.0.2, Magic Mouse 2)

There's a noticeable lag in curves since version 21.1. I am now on 21.1.2 and it's still there. Up until 21.0 they used to refresh smoothly. I am attaching a video to illustrate the problem. I'm also attaching a couple of screenshots of my performance tab in "Preferences". These are my PC specs: Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.20GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1070MHz (15-15-15-36) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME Z270-A (LGA1151) Graphics 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Gigabyte) NVIDIA Studio Driver 442.92 (latest one) Thanks!

After updating to the latest version of Photoshop, now when I try to use Sky Replacement it keeps going into a Program Error: "Could not complete your request because of a program error".   {Moderator edited title - PS-72990}

I am experiencing an issue currently in 22.5.1 (but I am pretty sure it was also happening in previous versions) where using the scroll wheel to change path shape parameters in the properties panel causes the document path display to become corrupted, paths disappear or start to jitter and leave an “after image”, in short, the paths don’t get rendered correctly. This happens in both GPU accelerated and non-GPU accelerated modes, I am on Windows 10 Pro.   Steps to reproduce: Create a new RGB transparent document. Select the Rectangle Tool, make sure you are in Path mode. Create a rectangle. Create another rectangle. Select the Path Selection Tool and use it to drag the shapes around noting everything is “hunky-dory”. Select one of the rectangles and open the properties panel make sure the panel is in Shape Properties mode. Move the mouse over the W field and click once. Use your scroll wheel to increment or decrement the value, if you have the Windows setting that mandates the mou

On ipados 15.0.2, Photoshop 2.7.2, I can't start a line with the brush tool from the space where the layers drawer would be if it wouldnt be hidden. Even if the drawer is hidden the line wont start from there.

Hi.First I should apologize for bad English; English is not my language.Here the problem:Recently I updated my photoshop to latest version and i see this annoying issue! when I typing numbers from 1-9 (for example) and press space between 3 and 4 (123 456), when my Paragraph dircetion set on Right-to-Left, can not see highligheted nubmers:    I tried :* Disable "Use Graphics Processors" ** (in Performance section)* Check "Legacy Compositing" ** (in Performance section)* Use "Basic/Normal/Advanced drawing mode in Use Graphics Processors Settings" ** (in Performance section)* Increase/decrease "Cach level/Cach tile size" (idk why, but try it!) ** (in Performance section)* Try to changing "Text Engine Options" ** (in Type section)* Try to clean install adobe photoshop CC 2020and none of them working. I'm using latest Windwos 10 updates and Graphics driver (Windows 10 Enterprise, Geforce GTX 750 Ti)So any suggestion for highlight numbering back to normal

Hi guys!   After the last update I can't open and edit the contents inside a smart object, but this is only happening with a cloud document, when I use a local .psd file it works normally. I know it is possible to convert the object to layers, however this isn't helpful when there is a lot of links or scale and others distortions.   Does anyone know how can fix this still working with cloud files?   The message that appears is this one: "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."   {Edited title - PS-70456}

Photoshop 2021 ships with an end of support version of NodeJS that is currently vulnerable to a number of vulnerabilities that will not be fixed. This then results in vulnerability warnings in Microsoft Defender and other vulnerability scanning tools. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\node.exe: v8.11.1   I attempted to talk to both Adobe Customer Support and Security Operations about this, and this is my last resort. For others experiencing the same problem, I am aware that the node.exe executable can be deleted, or even upgrade NodeJS in place - I did want to bring this to Adobe's notice just on the off chance they can rev Node in a future update.

Jag har Windows 10 och Photoshop 2021 via Creative Cloud. Det har fungerat bra tills nu då Photoshop inte startar upp. Vid inläsningen av programmet stannar det vid "Skapar färgkonverteringstabeller" . Ett felmeddelande med texten "Klicka här" hävisar till en websida med förslag till åtgärder men dessa hjälper inte.  Hjälp önskas   {moderator edited title - PS-72870}

Photoshop crashing when I try the Smart Sharpen filter with an enhanced DNG. Does NOT happen with the original CR2 file. Deactivating native canvas doesn't help. Yes I know the GPU is old and unsupported, this is a work computer and I can't upgrade it.   Two crash reports sent but not with this email, please contact me privately for the work email used in the CC login. I can upload the files if needed. See screen capture, something is crazy with the file sizes...   ETA also happens if I save the DNG to PSD or TIFF. Both of those are about 4MB files.     Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.5.0 20210809.r.384 ce617de x64Number of Launches: 99Operating System: Windows 10 64-bitVersion: 10 or greater 10.0.19041.1151System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:12, Stepping:3 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, HyperThreadingPhysical processor count: 4Logical processor count: 8Processor speed: 3193 MHzBuilt-in memory: 16307 MBFree memory: 8951

If Photoshop on the web beta feels slow for me, what can I do to help speed it up?The Photoshop team is continually working closely with Google and Microsoft to improve the speed of Photoshop on the web beta.   If you are experiencing slower performance while using Photoshop on the web beta, follow these troubleshooting steps:  Ensure your system and browser meet the Minimum System Requirements Update your browser to the latest version Ensure you are not in the incognito browser mode. *Incognito modes are not currently supported Quit other running applications that may be using the CPU and/or GPU, especially any screen recording and screen sharing software Close other browser tabs, especially any video streaming or memory intensive ones Try with a faster internet connection (>100 mbps is preferable)   If you've tried the above steps and still have issues, please search this community for similar posts from others, or create a new bug report with details of what

I have been able to reproduce the issue on 22.5.1 consistently using the following steps:1. Create a new RGB transparent document.2. On top of the default layer add a group with a single layer inside and two more layers above the group.3. Apply color overlay effect to the group and the layer above the group.4. Select all layers and groups in the layer panel.5. Right click the selected layers in the layer panel in any spot that is not directly over the group made earlier or click the Layer menu, choose Rasterize and then Layer Style.6. A popup window will be displayed proclaiming "Could not rasterize because of a program error"The intended behaviour is a bit tricky, I would say for me collapsing the group and applying the effect is the preferred result but this could be an unwanted behaviour for someone else, perhaps a better warning telling the user that he cannot rasterize a group this way.

Photoshop has started crashing when I use adjustment layers, more specifically I have tested on hue/sat and curves. When I go to adjust the settings I get a crash.   I have a Windows 10 PC and a Macbook, the problem is only on Windows and I cannot reproduce the issue on my Macbook.    What I have tried: Updating from v22.3.1 to current v22.5.1  Updating GPU drivers Updating Windows Disabling GPU processor Reducing RAM allocation to 60% (down from 85%) Reducing cache tile size Restarting machine. Uninstalling third party plug-ins.   Windows PC spec: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 32GB DDR4 RAM AMD 5700 XT GPU   My workaround is to use Photoshop CC 2020 for now, but having 2 versions of Photoshop installed is a waste.

The problem is with spotHealingBrushTool and colorReplacementBrushTool. Possibly backgroundEraserTool or artBrushTool (these drawing tools don't have the useScatter option either).   Discussion here: PS Script to switch Content-Aware vs Proximity Match in Spot Heal Tool and Patch tool question Activate spotHealingBrushTool, check how tool works: Create any spotHealingBrushTool preset from current tool settings, activate it: Check how tool works now: A similar problem when trying to update tool parameters with a script. If you just read the tool parameters and then assign them to the same tool, the useScatter option will be activated:       s2t = stringIDToTypeID; var r = new ActionReference(); r.putProperty(s2t("property"), s2t("tool")); r.putEnumerated(s2t("application"), s2t("ordinal"), s2t("targetEnum")); var d = executeActionGet(r).getObjectValue(s2t("currentToolOptions")); var d1 = new ActionDescriptor(), r = new ActionReference(); r.putClass(s2t(a

I'm having problems, when I import a PDF or illustrator file into Smart objetct, photoshop closes. Any solution? {Moderator edited title - PS-72176}

Photoshop 22.5.1 keeps crashing after only a minute or two of being opened.  I'm working on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. Generally I am editing photos in PS from Lightroom.  I have re-booted my laptop many times to no avail.  I have sent numerous crash reports to Adobe.  Any advice?

In macOS 11.6 (Big Sur) and Photoshop 22.5.1, you are presented with two separate "Replace Files" warnings, one after the other, when attempting to overwrite a file with the same name.

Hi guys,   I have been searching everywhere for this issue and I've had no luck. I'm in the apparel printing business and recently I was assigned a project to create mockup templates that our merchandisers can use to place different artworks/designs on our garments for our online e-comm marketplaces.   I thought to set up a smart object layer and apply a distort >> displace smart filter to follow the folds of the garments and make the image look more realistic. That way, all the merchandisers would have to do is swap out the art.   My plan was working and it's the perfect solution to making quick product images, but my smart objects aren't always rendering properly. Sometimes I'll make a file and they're working perfectly normally, then I'll come back in a few weeks and open the same file again and this weird artifacting appears on the images. Sometimes the files work great for me, but the issue appears when the merchandisers try to use the files. I suspect it has

I have an action which starts by using the magic wand to create a selection. I've used it for a few years over multiple versions of Photoshop on Windows.   Its now just not working at all, either running the action or double-clicking that step. If I delete the step and manually record the Magic Wand clicking the canvas, the step is added to the action and the selection works as expected.

Bonjour J'ai toujours le même message d'erreur lorsque j'ai créé un nouveau fichier, Photoshop doit fermer. J'ai désinstallé Photoshop puis réinstallé, mais toujours le même message... J'ai envoyé le rapport à Adobe, à suivre. Qui peut m'aider, salutations. P. Brocco    {Moderator edited title - PS-72311}
