I’ve successfully been using denoise since it came out in LR Classic, but now it has stopped working. I use 14.5.2. I tick the Denoise box and it produces a progress bar but then stops. I asked Chat GBT and it tried lots of things (I reinstalled LR) but it eventually said ask Adobe. Here is the Chat GBT chat: https://chatgpt.com/share/6a3d7c65-5564-83eb-ba38-ecdfef8e9588 Any human ideas?
HI EVERYONE! Im having a problem where i dont know how to remove the wave looking thing on this guys tuxedo all answers help if you know what you are doing ! (on his rigth shoulder )
Previously I used LrC 12 (and other versions). Recently I installed LR 14.1.1 on a new system. Now the suggested names on recognized face regions look bad. I attached screenshots to show the issue, unfortunatly the screenshots do not show the whole extent of the problem; They look a little bit softer than the original LR interface on the monitor. System Details: Windows 10 22H2 nVidia GeForce RTX 4070 S GPU driver version: 566.36 (studio driver) DirectX 12 24" LCD with 1920 x 1200 px resolution / 22" LCD with 1680 x 1050 px resolution (both 8bit, 60Hz) Issue happens when Windows UI scaling is set to 100% (default) as well as when it is set to 110%. Manually added person tag – a bit blurry but ok: Suggested person tags – double letter edges or something, seemingly on some backgrounds more than on others (but sometimes more on dark and sometimes more on bright backgrounds), mostly on letters with straight lines: after accepting a suggestion it looks a
Hi everyone,I'm experiencing severe export slowdowns in the latest Lightroom Classic 15.3.1 on my Mac Studio (M1 Max, 24-core GPU, macOS Tahoe). Exporting 500 high-res RAW images to maximum quality JPEGs takes way longer than it used to, and my hardware is not being utilized properly.During the export process:• CPU usage is pinned at nearly 100% (Full Red).• GPU Utilization sits around 60-70%.• GPU Render and Tiler utilization drops down to just 5%.• ANE (Neural Engine) utilization stays at 0%.It seems like a massive I/O or processing bottleneck where the CPU is completely choked, while the GPU is just sitting idle waiting for data. What I have already tried (which only partially helped or didn't fix the underlying bug): 1. Camera Raw GPU Config Fix: Checked the Camera Raw GPU Config.txt file and noticed crs:gpu_preferred_system="" was completely blank. Cleared the entire GPU cache folder and forced LrC to re-test the hardware. 2. Hard Reset: Performed a full pre
I have applied Auto in the develop module then selected denoise and this error occurs.
I logged into LR Classic this morning and a message popped up with an update and that I should back-up my catalogue, which I did, however, all my photos have disappeared! When I open LRC now it is empty! What have I done? I chose to back-up to Google Drive rather than Cloud, is that why? Can I reverse it?
What is "automatically analyze photos in a catalog" checkbox located in the Catalog Preferences > Metadata panel? What does it do exactly and how do you use it?
I’m working with lightroom normally, then suddenly previews won’t generate. If I try to import from an SD card, I can’t see any previews, and in normal grid mode or viewing, previews are not available. When I go to quit Lightroom I get the spinning beach ball and after a few minutes I have to force quit Lightroom classic becuase it has hung. I have turned off GPU assistance, trashed the lock file, and the previews file, reset preferences but this problem keeps coming back.
I am running LrC on a MacBook Pro working on a 870 Gb catalog on a SSD. My laptop hybrid drive has limited space right now and I just came back from a trip with 12,000+ photos and am trying to culling them down while still running off the SSD. The photos are from 3 separate Nikon bodies, two Z8s and a Z7II.When I try to close the application I have preferences set to backup, optimize and check integrity. The first time I had LrC application backup my working catalog to a Thunderbolt 5 SSD (laptop is running Thunderbolt 4) separate from the Thunderbolt 5 SSD where my catalog is stored it took 19 hours at which point the application crashed. So as a work around I don’t have the application backup the catalog. At the end of each working day I copy the now entire 870-ish Gb catalog folder from one Thunderbolt drive to that separate Thunderbolt drive which takes 6 minutes. Then I open and check the integrity of the .lrcat file on each drive, never any problems. After I delete a significant
I’m on Windows 10, and using LRC 13.5.1. I am using this version because later versions caused tethering bugs in our studio, so that’s the version we’re on right now, so please don’t tell me to upgrade if you respond. I have a question about resources. When I look at a film strip and click on any image on the film strip, the CPU usage jumps to 30%, then down to 15%, then 3% etc. But why on earth is the CPU jumping to 30% when I simply click on an image in the film strip? When I launch PS, launching it only takes 3-4% CPU. When I open even a very large file in PS, the CPU usage only jumps to 4% max. But when I simply view an image in the film strip in LRC, the CPU jumps to 30%.Why such crazy CPU usage for such a simple task in LRC?I’ve also noticed that LRC is using more RAM than even PS. Currently sitting at 12GB of RAM, doing nothing. Whereas PS is only using 7GB of RAM with a 1GB file open. I’m asking these questions because lately this machine has been running hot, and sometimes th
Hi, I am using Lightroom to stamp my photos. I am a event photographer and since now I 've been using other software to stamp my pics but I want to turn in lightroom. The problem I have is that it does not support (as far as I have searched and found) multiple watermarks. I need one watermark for my logo and one for the event organiser I photoshoot. So we have two png images. What I did for the first time is I exported the images with my logo and then load them again and export them with the event organiser's logo. I don't really like the proccess. How can I export in just one time both logos?cheers..!
I have been using Lightroom Classic since version 2. Currently using the latest version on a Windows 11 computer. Everything is up-to-date. For years I was able to get satisfactory prints from LrC and used the print module all the time. However, for the past couple of years the prints have come out with a very pinkish cast to them that I cannot resolve. I can print from Epson print layout, Qimage, and Photoshop with no problems. But when I try to print the same image, same profile, same paper with the same settings using LrC the colors are never what they should be anymore. Any suggestions? I know how to use the print module. I have had success with it previously. I can get quality images with other printing software, but LrC has become a real stumbling block. I'm using an Epson ET-8550.
I would like to use Lightroom classic version 12, support cannot give me the installer anymore. Does anybody still have a link?PS I asked a dozen times, all support agents told the same thing.
I use a LrC Classic on a laptop for several months of the year to manage bird photographs away from home. A three-day bird watching trip typically results in 3500 NEF (Nikon Raw) images, and over several months I typically start with a total of 20,000 files. I use the laptop to do culling and editing of the photos, deleting unused files. In the process of editing, I also produce DNG and possibly TIFF files stacked with the original NEF file. Eventually, I want to merge the files into the “master” LrC Classic catalog that I maintain on the home desktop. On both laptop and PC I am running the same version of LrC Classic 15.3.1. I have encountered problems merging the laptop catalog into the master, using guidance that I found on the website. I am hoping that one of you experts can help me explain the problems I encountered and confirm/correct how I tried to resolve it.I know this is detailed, but I wanted to describe my setup so that you can help me. I hope you have the patience to read
I am running latest release of LrC on m Apple silicon Mac. Recently I have started creating collections to sync to Lr on my iPhone & iPad. It generally has worked well, except I have one folder/collection that doesn’t sync its contents. I have tried various suggestions ( stop/start sync, delete/recreate the collection, rebuild the sync database } but nothing seems to work for this collection, Any suggestions would be very much appreciated Marty

Here are the details:Application: Adobe Lightroom Classic Issue: Generative AI remains on the loading screen and never completes the generation. Expected behavior: The AI should process the request and generate the result. Actual behavior: The loading animation continues indefinitely, and nothing is generated.
I did tahoe update to 26.3.1 and LrC update to 15.3 now LRc will not come up. I reverted back to LRc v 15.2.1 and it opens.
LrC very slow Denoise AI. Laptop AMD Ryzen 7 and Radeon 7600m. Latest Radeon drivers. I also tried switching to older drivers but it didn’t help with those either. The computer used to perform this Denoise AI process very quickly (about 15 seconds). Less than a month ago apparently some update caused it so that now the same task takes about 15 minutes. When I go to LrC - preferences - performance Camera Raw. In the settings it is no longer possible to change the <Use Graphics Processor> and <Use GPU for Preview Generation> values. Both values are gray and set to OFF. Earlier, both values could be changed and were, if I remember correctly, set to AUTO. Below this it says that Graphics processor acceleration is not supported by your system. What could possibly have caused this (some update?) and what could be a solution to the problem?
The splash screen this morning shows me logged in 10 days ago and also just 15 hours ago. This is becoming tiresome. Please get rid of it!!
After a 6 month break from adobe creative cloud i just logged in and i am unable to use lightroom classic. Lightroom classic will not open through the app. It will also not download. All other creative cloud apps are working.
After the recent update to Lightroom 15.3, I am unable to import photos. No previews are generated and when I try to import any files, the import process hangs and I have to force-quit. I am using a brand-new MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro chip and 24 GB RAM on Tahoe 26.4.1. I am importing from a CFEXPRESS card via a reader that I’ve used for 2 years. The photos are from a Nikon Z8, both NEF (raw) and JPEGs.I have turned off the GPU acceleration, turned off “Ignore Suspected Duplicates”, deleted the preview cache, and uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom and it still will not generate previews or complete the import process. Additionally, when I try to quit Lightroom Classic, the quitting process hangs and I get the pinwheel of death and have to force-quit. Where can I go to find an answer to this problem?
I have accessibility to LR, but my Windows dosen't support the latest version of LR. Meanwhile, Adobe does not provide old versions of it, which makes it impossible to download. My PC lost some files so it can’t update operative system of Windows, even by downloding update assistant from Microsoft. On the other hand, I don’t know how to get the old version.
Now that Adobe has moved the DNG converter out of LR Classic… In my LR Classic catalog containing over 100,000 images I have thousands of CR3 images that now apparently may need to be converted to DNG’s.If I run the DNG Converter app on CR3 images already in my LR catalog, do the converted files replace the original CR3’s in LR and retain the keywords and LR processing history, etc. as it used to when the DNG conversion was integrated in LR?Or… Does the DNG Converter just blithely convert the CR3’s to DNG’s obliterating the keywords and history and requiring them to be re-imported as new files?I’ve been unable to find an explanation.
Can the Keyword Suggestion automatically not show values already shown in the visible Keyword Set? I tag all my photos extensively but Keyword sets don’t show a lot of values. I use both Keyword Suggestions and a Keyword Set effectively as two Keyword sets. Unfortunately Lightroom often shows the same values as what is visible in the Keyword Set that is selected. This duplication reduces the usefulness, adds delay and extra clicking. See below
