I used to use HDR editing all the time and one day about 2 weeks ago it stopped working and says it's not compatible with my Pixel 10 Pro XL. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps. 

It seems to happen when syncing images to the Cloud, but LrC is stripping the paragraph breaks/returns from the caption field in the metadata of images, creating one large block of text impossible to read. When you Read Metadata from File, the breaks are restored and the caption field looks normal again. Then a few moments later the breaks disappear, I think when the image syncs to the Cloud. The Caption field text was created in Photoshop not in LrC. But Classic reads the data, then ruins it. This behaviour started about 2 months ago. 

Having a photograph with people in it—whether in any location, close-up, background, etc.—when I try to apply a mask to detect people, the program tells me that “no people were found”, and therefore it doesn't generate the mask. This started happening after the latest updates, though I'm not entirely sure since I don't use that feature very often.

Today I reported that the Denoise function in Lightroom Classic became very slow, when compared with the previous version (3 times slower). I got an answer, from an expert, that says “The real reason for the slow down is that Lightroom Classic is no longer using the Apple Neural Engine for denoise, because that still caused quality issues.” I googled the subject and I retrieved the information that since June 2026 all versions of LRC are using again the Apple Neural Engine. Can anyone clarify what is going on?This is a quite annoying situation, as I need to denoise batches of files and the overall time became prohibitive. 

LRC - many workflows require saving and working in Tif format, why not open for using the excelent noisereduction function on those files?  

Please add the option to use variables / metadata in “put in subfolder” name, similar to how we can rename files using e.g. {folder name} {custom name}. I use lightroom to edit students ID pictures, so i organize each classes into their own folders. I then batch export all edited photos to a subfolder named “Edited” under each classes' folder,current setup:Class A  EditedClass B  Edited...Class Z  Edited After that I have to manually add the class name  »  “Class A - Edited” before I can send those folders to my printer…  it would be helpful if we can use the parent folder’s name (in this case the class name) as a variable to name the target subfolder 🙏

Prior to around 10:00 am  today, I could right click an image I was editing in Lightroom Classic and select "Edit In" and then "Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2026..." and it would open  Photoshop 2026, if one wasn't already open, and then open a TIFF called "<image filename>-Edit.tif" with all my Lightroom edits. It was working this morning, but now suddenly when I right click the image in Lightroom Classic and select "Edit in"and then "Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2026..." it will open Photoshop 2026 but will not open the file...it just stops at the Photoshop Recent File list.  I have tried all of these:1. Checking for updates. Non available.  I’m all up to date.2. Trying through the top menu: Photo>Edit in> Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2026...” but that didn’t work.3. Restarting my computer. I just discovered something weird that in over 15 years of using Lightroom Classic (and it's several other names over the years) I have never seen before.  I have 165k photos imported into my catalog.  I have a photo with the name DSC01885.ARW and a virtual copy of it.  When I sort the photos by capture time they are separated by several photos.  Looking carefully at the times of the photos I see the several photos were taken at 12:52:09 to 12:52:47 on 2009/12/23.  Here is the order they appear in grid view when sorted by capture time:DSC01885.ARW 12:52:47DSC01882.ARW 12:52:09DSC01883.ARW 12:52:31DSC01884.ARW 12:52:46DSC01885.ARW 12:52:47 (virtual copy)When I sort the photos by file name they are not next to each other either.  They appear separated by several photos.Weird.  Any ideas?Mac version.  Backup function performed on every exit daily.

I’m a real estate photographer and I use Lightroom Classic to merge the bracketed images. Could be 3 or 5 bracketed images for a total of 30/50 final images .When I launch the action in Lightroom it’s working well until I stay in the same panel or in the same folder, but if i move the process stay stack to the last image in process. Before I was used to move in other folder and do something else.Lightroom doesn’t freeze totally but only the HDR process and I’m unable to quite the process and launch un’other one.The only way is close lightroom , reopen it and launch again the process and this is annoing.To have the process done I have to stay in the same panel and do not change folder and wait until the end.I have LR 15.6 but this issue started at list from 3 or 4 realise ago.

Again, I ask that presets in Develop module be able to be sorted by the user.  Much like the way files etc can be sorted by the user according to their preference: alphabetically, put into subfolders, etc.  As it is, it is just a jumble and an unnecessary hassle to find things.  Why not make the process hassle-free?

Hello,Hopefully I can explain this so it makes sense. I inadvertently deleted stored photos from my computer, however, I have the memory card that still has the photos. Can I direct LRC to those photos? Do I need to import them again and when I do will I lose all my edits?Thanks for the help.

I have issue where lightroom won’t open  I have tried unintalling and re installing it fresh but not opening 

When exporting files in a sequence, the MacOS finder puts things in alphanumeric order. The current export options start the sequence with filename-1.jpg. If it allowed zeros before the first nine digits, it’d help preserve the sequence in the MacOS (and probably Windows) finder. Even better: Allow the sequence number to start the file name, e.g.: 001-filename.jpg

A small but very welcome feature, but this version is very crashy on Windows 11 - in a way it’s never been for me.

I’d like the ability to be able to choose to export the current highlighted photo, when I have multiple selected.An example of where this is particularly useful to me, is when I’m looking through face detection photos and selecting all photos of a person to look through. These photos usually span 20+ years in my line of work, and are in multiple folders - once I find a photo I like, I want to edit and export that single photo, without having to deselect everything, exporting and then going back into face detect, selecting all the photos and starting the process again.Thanks!Matt

Start lightroom.  Start photoshop.  Start acrobat.Often I am trying to complete a task under deadline pressures.  Often I am already frustrated.  Also I am a bit neurodivergent and have attention issues and distractions bother me more than they might bother other people. (Acrobat is always the worse because I always need it when…  I am dealing with a paperwork nightmare!)I understand that you want me to know that Adobe is always working to improve your products and enhance the value of my Creative Cloud subscriptiuo.  I get that.  But it is also like a round of Russian Roulette because there’s a certain chance each time that I’ll cancel my subscription.Please, please, please, listen to this.  Can’t you just wait a few minutes after I start the application before trying to distract me with a message that’s going to make me hate you?  Like if you could try to pop something up after I complete a task and feel good about your product I might be very interested in hearing about how you are

I use LRc to edit B7W photos.  When using Select Sky mask LRc invariably selects parts of buildings and begitation that border the sky. I can remove these with the Subtract option for the mask, but it is an extra workflow step that I would like to avoid.  Is there any fix that Adobe is planning?

I am continually annoyed that Adobe products,  including Lightroom,  are popping up modal dialogs telling me about new features as soon as I start them.  This often distracts me from a task that I am doing under time pressure or other stress.I have attention issues,  and I need accomodation for this disability.  Every pop-up like this needs a checkbox that I can check on to make sure that I never get one ever again.

Select Subject in Lightroom Classic has suddenly become significantly slower on my PC. It previously worked much faster on the same hardware (2-3 sek).System: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11.Tests with the same images:Lightroom Classic 15.5: 13–14 sec Lightroom Classic 14.5.1, completely new catalog: 7–11 sec Lightroom 15.5 with GPU disabled: 14–18 secLightroom recognizes the RTX 5070 and reports full graphics acceleration. However, GPU utilization appears very low during Select Subject.Since the problem also occurs with a new catalog and different Lightroom versions, it does not appear to be catalog-specific.Around two weeks ago, Select Subject was considerably faster on this same computer.Could you please advise whether this is a known issue or help identify what may have changed?

Have been having a lot of crashes with LRc 15.4.1 for a week or so. Currently the situation is so bad, that moving from library to dev the app crashes every time. I’ve been sending a lot of crash reports. I’ve also tested multiple files from different cameras over past 20 years, the issue stays.I’ve also tested downgrading LRc, issue doesn’t go away. I also tested the other Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge and Bridge (beta) - all crashing equally the same, when changing to dev/edit or in case of bridge an ps, just opening any raw file. This suggests that the problem is somewhere in Adobe shared runtime stack that is used by all of the apps. I also repaired Creative Cloud installation, no help. Files can be opened just fine in any other capable app. I created new catalogs to see if it was catalog corruption, but it is not. I have gone through all the usual Windows error checkings, sfc, dism, chkdsk, even the memory check. no problems there. All my other apps and even games work fine. Window
