 After using Photoshop for an extended time, when trying to open a Cloud Document by going to File > Open... it often only opens the default MacOS file selector, without the 'Open from Adobe cloud' button. The only way I've found to fix this is a complete close of the software.

Photoshop 27.3.1 / 27.4 has a problem where it does not release disk space after closing files. For example, editing 119 files that are around 200–300 MB eats 93 GB of disk space. Of course I close each file, so there is only one open at a time.After closing Photoshop, the disk space is released, but this is very inconvenient. In some cases, I run out of space, causing the system to freeze, showing messages like “System has run out of application memory” and forcing me to quit applications.OS X Tahoe 26.3.1This is clearly a bug, as there is no valid reason for Photoshop not to release disk space properly.

Ps 27.5 update has been pushed to my CC app, but I can’t seem to find any release or fixed issue notes in the usual “What’s New” page or anywhere else on the web. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I prefer to know the details before I update.

Unable to “Select people” from the object selection tool. When I try and “select object” i get an error message “could not complete your request because of a program issue. 

I would like to create designs using the emojis in Photoshop For Products to sell like t-shirts and mugs. Photoshop has license with Emoji One. Can I use them on my designs? End what about the letter fonts? are they allowed to be used on my designs for products to sell?

To the Adobe Development Team,I am writing this as a professional user and long-term subscriber. While I recognize that AI integration is a necessity in today’s creative workflow, it cannot come at the expense of core software stability.Currently, Photoshop is virtually unusable on a high-end workstation (NVIDIA RTX 4070, 64GB RAM, Ryzen 5 5600X). I am experiencing extreme lag and freezes (1–3 minutes) during basic operations such as: Switching to the Move Tool. Initiating a Transform (Ctrl+T). Basic canvas navigation. It is unacceptable that a professional tool fails at its most fundamental level while hardware resources are more than sufficient. I am not looking for generic troubleshooting steps like "resetting preferences." How can I make text warp realistically as if viewed through a droplet or lens using displacement (not texture or overlays)?  

This has happened to me on my work computer (HP Probook) and my personal computer (MacBook Pro), running the latest version of Photoshop. Every now and then, the enter key will stop working. Instead of creating a new line, it will exit the text box. Forced line breaks do the same thing. On my MacBook, it appears to be caused when I have my project management software (ClickUp) open simultaneously with Photoshop. The issue can usually be resolved by closing both programs and then reopening Photoshop. On my work computer, however, the entire machine needs to be restarted to resolve the issue. This is incredibly frustrating, because I have to use the SSO TFA login every time the computer cycles power. It is a pain in the butt. Feeling very peeved.

Color correction tool- similar to fotello.ai realesed as a Neural Filter. Preserve as much creative control as possible.  

I’m using an iMac running Photoshop 27.4.0. I’ve done this a million times over the years. But it’s not working now. I have a set of images. I need to crop them all down to a specific size. I create the action to do this… and it works on that ONE image I used to create the action. Then, when I run the action on the rest of the images… it does nothing. When I open the action, I see that the height and width section of the crop part of the action… shows nothing. What is going on? Thanks! 

This happens even when I copy and paste the number in with the dashes, or type the whole number first, then add the dashes after.

This method is limited to image option. If background [BG] of the image is “sky” it is intact otherwise it affects. What do you think? I use my own image to replicate the work & original image I used is attached as well.   The Easiest Way to Add Gradients to Any Object in Photoshop

As noted in “Describe your bug” i log in, go to “files”/projects and i get an error. notice that says i am not connected and files will be availab;e when i’m back online. My internet is working, i can log in/out but i can;t see my psd file

In letzter Zeit verschwinden immer mal wieder sämtliche von mir angelegte Aktionen und Tastaturbefehle aus Photoshop (Version 27.4). Es passiert nach Updates aber auch einfach so. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, da ich sie dann neu anlegen muss. Habe bereits in folgendem Ordner nach den .ATN Dateien gesucht, um die Aktionen vielleicht wiederherzustellen:C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2026\Presets\ActionsDieser ist leider komplett leer, von älteren Versionen ebenfalls. Gibt es noch einen Speicherort, wo ich suchen könnte? Oder sind diese für immer verloren?Wie verhindere ich, dass das Problem weiterhin auftaucht?

There’s an image in the background of my photo that I would like to remove. When attempting to do so, instead of full removing the image and creating a flush wall, Ai just covers it in black and prompts a message about the photoshop guidelines. This doesn’t make sense, because no matter what the background image is depecting, if I want it removed, it shouldn’t be a problem. It’s also my art-- I should have full control what’s created.  How do I overcome this issue. This is completely flawed tool. 

I have a file from 2022/23 where I created a template for images, and was using the dither filter. I’ve opened up this file now in my 2026 version of Photoshop, and when trying to apply this filter to a new image I’m met with an error icon and the text “Filter not avaliable or cannot be applied to this document”. The effect is still applied to the older image, but toggling the dither filter on and off will not reapply it. (I am also unable to edit the smart object to simply swap out the image)I’m just wondering if the filter was removed, or if something is going wrong. If it was removed, what would be a suitible replacement? I’m just unable to find anything about this. 

I am a photographer. Sometimes I want to change the top of the models I photograph. The generative fill is so aggressive, I can't even use it anymore. Even if I try to remove a tattoo NEAR the cleavage area, it doesn't even do it. Please tone down the AI. 

Hello,I am experiencing a reproducible issue with Photoshop 27.4.0 regarding PSD thumbnails in Windows 11.IssueSince updating to Photoshop 27.4.0, PSD files saved in 16‑bit no longer display a thumbnail in Windows File Explorer. Generative Fill had been working great, but in the past month, even simple but complete prompts generate the image correctly except it renders the image shrinked in width and height. I use Firefly for more complex prompts and never have a problem, other than the need to improve my prompt😉 I have Windows 11 OS, use Photoshop Beta most of the time, keep all of my Creative Pro apps updated, this gen fill issue happens in both Beta and Photoshop.  I’ve included an example.  Any and all help will be greatly appreciated Example of gen fill result 

A few days ago generative fill stopped working. It keeps telling me an error occured.I updated photoshop, restarted the computer, tried another image. Nothing seems to work. 

HI Is anyone else having issues exporting files as png, on the preview it looks transparent but is saving with a white background. When I bring the image back in photoshop, background is still white. It was fine yesterday. Dont know if I am doing something wrong or if there is a bug. Please help, I have searched youtube and forums and can't find an answer that works     {Title edited by Moderator}
