When I launch Premiere Pro, I am greeted with the Welcome screen showing my several most recently opened projects.  When I click on one, nothing happens; I have to click it again for it to open that project. I am on 23.5.0 Build 56 on Windows 10 Pro 22H2.  To reproduce, launch Premiere Pro and wait for the Welcome screen to appear.  Click once on any project.  I expect that project to open, but it doesn't (until I click it a second time).I did some experimenting and this appears to be related to window focus. If I first click anywhere on the welcome screen (e.g. in the blank space to the left or right of the recently opened project list), then clicking on a project opens it right away. If I click on a project first, then click on the title bar of the parent window (Premiere Pro proper), clicking on a project won't open it (it requires a second click).  I also sometimes see a hint of a drag placeholder (as if I were dragging the project); although I have fo

I have a recording of someone delivering a speech. There's a moment where he says something funny, but he says the wrong word in the punchline. The viewers will know what he meant, so it'll still work if we can't fix this, but I'm curious: does Adobe have a (likely AI-powered?) tool that can make him say a different word? (I'm posting this same question in the Audition community, in case that is the better place for this.) I checked, he does not say the word anywhere else in the speech, so I can't pull it from elsewhere and edit it in. 

Ever since Google implemented Apples cloud share protocols my Google Drive volumes are no longer visible as a drive when attempting to re-link assets Only favorites (which is empty), Macintosh HD and Network Drives (empty)  are visible. Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1 using Premier Pro Version 23.2 and Google Drive.Any idea of this is a bug or if there is a fix. 

Hi, I'm building a CEP panel where i want to insert a multicam sequence into my timeline. I essentially want the script to do the same thing as me dragging the multicam sequence from my media bin into the timeine (except with the script). I'm currently doing track.insertClip(multicamProjectItem, insertionPoint), but I'm encountering the issue where when the sequence gets put into the timeline, it loses its "multicam" functionality (the videos get overlapped and I can't press 1/2/etc. to swap between the cams). Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,In the timeline I have a blue line at the right of the cursor.What is it, and how to remove it ? 

My problem-I load a clip in the timeline, I invoke the Text window, go ro the Transcript tab, and click Start Transcription. All is well, allowing for the 40% error rate i have to fix- but hey, who's complaining... The problem is, after I select Export to Text File I'm ready to clear the Transcript window and do it all over again with a new clip.  And I cannot find any Clear Transcript command of any kind in the immediate universe. Not under the 3-dot popup where by design it OUGHT to be, not anywhere in the immediate vacinity. I need the transcript for pre-edits, AKA, paper cits-- not captions! Do I seriously have to generate a captions track from the transcript, clear it to clear the Text window, is that the only way? Anybody tested this? Where is the Clear Transcript buttonWITHIN the Transcript tab??? Best, as always,Loren

Hello, Community Members! I know that this issue was discussed a couple of years ago but it seems to be a recurring one! When I sent my video with captions to Export, I chose Captions to be rendered separately. However, every time I tried I had them burnt into the video together with a .srt file. Eventually, I disabled a Caption track, had the video file exported (someone else's clever idea) and rendered Captions separately.  Perhaps, a much more simple solution is hidden somewhere in the Settings which I'm missing?Thank you! 

Hello, folks! How are you? I'm currently facing an issue with the new Film Impact: Text Animator tool.I really enjoyed the Film Impact assets and i tried to use the text animator tool, BUT when I apply it to text layer and play the preview, it inserts the whole phrase at once. Even if I break the text into lines or try to change the subject (letters, word, line) on advanced options is has absolutely zero effect on the setup.Is it any kind of bug? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!PS: I'm used to do it on after effects, but i'd like to try directly on premiere with this tool just to save time with simple edit hehe

I've been translating subtitles with the new tools for a couple weeks now and everything was working fine, it worked on the beta version and now on the latest build (25.2.1) but now all of a sudden premiere shows the following error message whenever I try to translate. Even tried on a project that had been previouslytranslated without an issue, I went back and deleted the previous translations, tried to translate again and it's not working anymore. Has anyone else encountered this bug or know s of a way to fix it?

How do you “Render & Replace” a clip so it keeps Lumetri + Custom Motion framing + audio into one file without nesting?What I get now: x2 videos per clipV1: keeps grade & framing, no audio V2: has audio, loses grade and (crops in x2).Tried: proxies off, Source=Sequence, QuickTime ProRes preset (audio on), Include Video Effects on, Use Previews off.Is there a setting to include adj layers and force sequence dimensions + audio without a nest? Best-practice tips welcome.

Premiere Pro has persistent crackling scrubbing through timeline, and preview playback. Not present in exports. ONLY premiere has this issue on my system, After Effects is fine, Audition is fine, Ableton Live is fine, etc. Using latest ASIO drivers as per my usb interface . Using ASIO in Premiere's settings.  System Spec - Windows 10, Nvidia Studio Drivers (latest) RTX 3080, USB Audio Interface Arturia Minifuse1 Its absolutely unusable for previewing audio and driving me insane. Any ideas welcome

Problème constaté :Sur un montage, le son est inactif sur certains clip de la séquence (le mixeur audio et le vue mètre sont plats, pourtant le spectre audio est bien là sur la piste), et actif sur d'autres, alors même que ces différents clips proviennent du même fichier .wav de base.Le problème a pu être brièvement résolu en redémarrant l'ordinateur et Première, mais il revient.

I didn't catch any errors in code.As soon as I switch preset path to H264, everything works correctly.It is possible to render with H265 preset in Media Encoder manually. I've tested same methods on Premiere 24.6.8, H265 preset worked, no problem here.I didn't test on Windows or older versions of Premiere 25.

I have a premiere project I created months ago and am just coming back to now.  Upon opening the project, most of the files seem to be playingback fine. However I have 2 clips to have this appearing when I try to play them.  Files appear to be in place still and I can even get it to play back on one specific sequence I have combining all the clips but the individual sequences will not.  Any ideas are much appreciated.

Need help fixing this bug. I have used the Ease-in and Ease-out keybindings as ctrl,- and ctrl,= for a long time. I recently changed computers and now no key binding works as a shortcut to easily apply the Ease-in and Ease-out temporal interpolation effect on the Effect Controls Panel.I've tried using different bindings, restarting computer. Downloading older versions of Premiere Pro. Nothing has seem to work. I've seen this issue a lot online with no fixes.

Hello, thanks in advance for any help you can give. I always have an issue after updating adobe products. I updated Photoshop and Premiere Pro and I've had multiple issues.  1st one is regarding access to files. I have to move the file to the downloads file to open them. If the file is anywhere else in my mac it will send the message "Could not open “file.psd” because of a disk error.". 2nd. The most worrying issue as I have a deadline tomorrow and I can't edit or export my videos. I keep getting odd glitches on playback and after export on the file. Everything else is ok, audio, graphics, etc, but there's always a glitch and the patterns change depending on the moment I export it. Again, I appreciate all the help I can get as I'm running out of time. I'm trying to import a sequence of numbered images as a video clip into Premiere Pro CS6, but it won't take the files:I've got 9480 JPEG image files named like BlahXXXX.jpg where XXXX goes from 0000 to 9479.Now when I go to File > Import... and select all those files, the checkbox in the bottom of the file choosing window (image sequence) gets greyed out. If I just select a single image, I can check it, but when clicking "Import" then, Premiere will only import that single still frame.What am I doing wrong?

Hi Adobe Team,I found a bug in Premiere Pro 2025 where the search bar does not show any results. This happens in the Effects panel, Project panel, and inside bins. When I type something in the search field, the panel stays blank even though the items exist in the project.Please look into this issue in a future update.Thanks,Nikhil

More often than not, when I switch to a new workspace, the timelines that I had open change order. Even worse, some of them close. And when I go back to my Editing Workspace, it happens again.For me, switching between Workspaces contantly shifts and changes which timelines I have open. I want to use Workspaces, but when I do, they very often mess-up my flow.Does anyone know why this happens? And possibly how to fix it?

I'm not sure what's wrong but I can't for the life of me get my playback to run smoothly. Everything else works as fast as it should.  I'm running it off an external with almost  1tb of storage left, I've uninstalled/reinstalled, reset the caches, have zero effects or luts on the clips -- WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?    

Hi everybody!I would like to know if it is possible to import an effect preset file (*.prfpset) via ExtendScript.I already figured out how to add an effect to the effect controls of a clip/mogrt and set its properties, but it would be great to import the presets. I use a Canon c200 for my job. We shoot in c-log 3 and use Premiere 25.5 Build 13 on 2021 MacBook Pros running Sequoia 15.6.1. When the footage is imported to Premiere, it is interpreted as rec. 709 footage, so when I switch to "Wide Gamut (tone mapped) in Lumetri color, there is a subtle difference, but the automatic log footage detection doesn't work. I have to manually go to the clip and do a color space override. I'm wondering if Canon's c200 is supported with the automatic log footage detection or if this is a bug with the new ACES color management workflow.
