Advertise on Reddit I have a client that shoots mixed frame rates with their cameras. (Weddings) They want a final deliverable in 24fps (or 23.97 whatever the lowest common denominator camera is). These are big exports. Some 30 minutes long in 4K.I am continually running into an issue where my export will stutter, freeze, desync, etc. Whatever it is renders the product undeliverable. After laboring for hours and pulling my hair out, I had a workaround that appeared to finally be working, although extremely tedious. I got through a couple of sub-20 minute exports with my workaround that were clean with a repeated process. Thought awesome, we're in the clear, but now on this most recent export the workaround failed and the same issue has arisen.These videos are long, and even with checking playback in double-time, between the timeline rendering, exporting, and double checking, I am losing my sanity and don't know what to do anymore as the clock is burning away. Hi there,i am trying to open up the tutorials inside Premiere Pro. When i click on them, the project will open, but all windows are staying black. I can import the "onboarding loop" or "going home project" folder, but i still dont get any tasks or messages. Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 23.1.0 (Build 86)Operating system - Windows10 21H2 (19004.2486)Steps to reproduce - open Premiere Pro, on home screen open any "in program tutorial"Expected result - a textbox or video footage should appear with steps to learn how to use premiere proActual result -  project opens up, but everything stays black and blank i changed the upper right panel to "training". I reinstalled Premiere Pro twice and another time with the Adobe CC cleaner. In Illustrator the tutorials are working fine. 

Hi community My MacBook Pro was recently reset to diagnose a problem (of oxidation). That seems to have reset my Mac, and that seems to have updated my Adobe Premier Pro 2020 to the 2025 version which prevents me from editing project. Tried everything to te Connect to my original recordings. Any urgent tips ir number to call in London? 

I have a bunch of missing links, they are all comps from the same After Effects file, but I seem to have to relink them all one by one.   Ive tried selecting multiple and clicking 'locate', but I still have to manually select the same AE file with each one.   Is there no way to do them all at once?

I noticed that transcription cannot be RESET, even if you delete a track or hide one and click again on create trasncriptionProof is that even if you do it you see the same captions from beforeThe thing is in my video transcription was made in english, with lot of errors becuase it is not in english:I tried to redo it (restart the process of transcription)I cannot! As you can see you can no longer select a langage, or restart/reset the transcription once it is has been done once,How to do solve this?

 Here:  it does not move!I cancelled it earlier and retried  in a new porject, because the previous project would only transcribe in english  and there was no loner an option to restart transcription (in another langage heck even in english)  Si there anyway to make the bar move?What's this bug?

Hello, I am having difficuly linking media which in the past has been a breeze. For one reason or another I can not selcet the external harddrive where the footage is on to link it. This project came from another editor and I am trying to link all of the media which I have on my end. Any help with this would be greatly approicted.  Cheers 

Hi, I have several versions or Premier Por on my workstation, it just happened that I collected them. Oh you need an upgrade, OK, done!I now appear to have, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 how can I make them go?I'm sure it may have been an option when I loaded them, but as you see, I started the mess a while ago.Thanks in advance, Im happy to keep 2023 - 2024 as this is an old machine.Thanks in advance.

Hi, my premiere pro 25.4.1 has suddenly become extremly slow. Kind of unworkable. Maybe a coincidence but it started when I upgraded my MacOs to Sequoia 15.6.1 I work with a big project, just over 200 MB. I've tried to start a new project and import the main sequence of our film, and the project then landed on 20 MB, but with no result. Of course I´ve tried cleaning cache, working on low resolution and with proxies.  Just about to finish this project but this makes it very difficult. Any help or tips in sight?Best Johan

Hello, maybe this is my fault for defining a variable with the same name twice?  In this codeThe "line"s read are from a "filepath" variable located elsewhere in the code (waay below), whereas it should have taken the value given to it just above it! (In other words the value given at the top is ignored and it keeps pointing to a new value given way later (after the IF))I don't know if I can reproduce it with a non personal code, but the description is that I have a :1) var filepath = xxx (top of the code)2) Then I read its line with var line (inside the IF, below the first filepath definition)3) later in the code I have a new var filepath = yyy (after the IF is done and line = xxx done)The problem is that during (2) the "line" showed values from yyy not from xxx! As if extendscript "cached in" the latest value of filepath (yyy) THEN started running the code (the if... var line =..) which is written before.What's even more surprising is that I ran this code many times in

Hi everyone,I'm encountering a strange issue with Premiere Pro when it comes to iPhone video orientation and file names, and I’d appreciate any insights.Here’s the scenario: I record video on my iPhone and make sure to let the phone settle into the correct orientation (usually horizontal) before I start recording. Most of the time that works fine. Occasionally, if I have to start recording really quickly, the phone doesn’t catch the orientation in time and the video ends up sideways.To fix this, I’ve been rotating the video directly in the iPhone’s native camera app before transferring it to my Mac. When ingest the footage to my Mac using the Image Capture app, it actually creates two versions of the video: one with the original file name (with the incorrect, original sideways orientation) and one with an extra “E” in the file name that includes what I thought was a hardcoded rotation and any other edits. I'm on a shared computer and someone turned off Ignore Source Out Point when I cut a clip into my timeline from the source monitor (I prefer to set the out point on the timeline rather than in the Source Monitor). I know there's a way to turn the toggle back on so that Premiere asks me again which behavior I prefer, but I forget how to do it. Can someone remind me?

Hi there! I'm using Premiere Pro on my Macbook Pro, and one error I often make by mistake is using my touch pad to scroll over an effect window, accidentally editing the effect.For example, I might be scrolling down to see more effects, but because my cursor is placed in the middle of the effects box, I'll change the Format away from SMPTE to something different.Is there a way to turn off this function so that I can scroll without worrying about accidentally messing something up?Thank you,Zach

PP 25.4.1 After importing a video clip with LTC - Modifying the TC and then dropping in a sequence, adding a seperate audio clip with same TC and then selecting and hiting Synchronize the audio from the linked video clip moves into sync with the 2nd audio clip leaving the video track unmoved. Everything that I'm aware of indicates the video track is linked. I even get the out of sync red frame count. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure I'm missing something. Thanks, Mark

I have a simple setup:  - 1 After Effects Project with some Compositions- I have imported them into a Premiere Pro Project The Problem: Each time I make changes in after effects and save them, the connection in Premiere Pro gets lost (Red Banner which says "Media Offline"). The Red Banner Error then appears on ALL After Effects Compositions of the same After Effects File, that I imported into Premiere. So basically after each change in one after effects composition, every connection of the compositions of that  AE file gets lost and I have to relink them (which then always works). Please help, this drives me crazy... 1. 24.4.1 (Build 2)2. Anyone else finding that the export doesnt work now. The only way is go via FILE / EXPORT / SEND TO MEDIA ENCODER and then it doesnt always load the sequence you have in the timeline. You have to make sure the sequence is also selected in the project bin. Once it starts to export in Media Encoder its got that extremely slow 'processing audio sources' thing it had a few vewrsions ago. Also won't export straight to Frame IO which is extremely frustrating. Anyone else or should I just re-install? 

Need to rant—I have been trying to make Adobe Premiere 2025 and Beta work for me ever since it was released, but after constant freezes, crashes, and incredibly slow processing times (waveform generation, etc), I've decided I'm done. I'm going to complete my current projects with Adobe Premiere 2024 because at least that was sort of stable, and then I am going to research viable alternatives to this awful program. I'll struggle through the frame recursion errors that Premiere throws out with MXF files that has been a problem for the past three iterations of Premiere at least, but at least the program won't be constantly crashing, freezing, or slowing things down. I tried proxying my MXFs last night, and Media Encoder Beta would terminate the encode with a Fail message whenever it would hit a frame recurrsion error. I had to use Media Encoder 2024 to get the job done. I know my computer is getting out of date (it was a top of the line 2019 Intel Macbook Pro), but the fact that I ca

Hi hi,  Just left my macbook pro 2023 M2PRO 16GB try to media manage a big project on premiere pro for a few hours. Nearing the end, I got the following error message : "An unknown error (-1609629681) occurred during the Project Manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation."I am just now updating Premiere to the latest version, but this error came on Premiere Pro 25.0.Did anyone ever have something similar ?Would really like to be able to media manage this soon and not have to do it by hand. Feel like media managing in 2024 is still such a lottery- it hardly ever runs smoothly for me !Thank you in advance,  

(On Mac)Rencently with footage that, I think, was shot on iPhone.  (23.98 HVEC .mov file) A couple of shots I needed some tracked color correction and sent three original files to person running resolve. Gave them timecode of the sections I needed. They gave it back to me and the timing didn't match. It was off by about 1:13. Got through it but am now trying to figure out what happened. I think Resolve set the timecode based on Encoded time of file.  Resolve first frame TC: 08:43:18:00Encoded time: 13:43:18 UTCPremiere first frame TC: 08:43:20:12 If I open the file in QT player and set View Time Display to SMPTE Timecode it reads 08:36:28:00. QT Player shows:Additonal TracksTrack ID: 3Track Type: TimecodeState: EnabledLanguage: Unknown Language Both projects are at 23.98

Duplicate Frame Markers are not working correctly in 24.2.1. It shows 1 of the 2 duplicates. It only works as expected when you close and re-open the sequence.   Premiere 24.2.1, Mac Sonoma 

I updated to version 25.2 and now when i go to drag and drop a clip onto the timeline, the cursor will just have a closed fist without dropping anything into the timeline. I have updated the Media Encoder also and have restarted my computer and application multiple times.
