In the new UI, add-ons don't display their icons, and the pop-up menu doesn't appear above the clicked tool; it appears a little further down, above the displayed document. Are these bugs, or is the new UI truly designed against common sense?   Thank you.   New UI:   Normal UI (aka Old UI):

Hi thereI have hundreds of comments on a map file. My workflow used to be:make the correction select Set Status > Completed* and the comment disappeared from the side panel.This no longer happens automatically meaning that to remove the comment from view, I have to click on the filter, turn ‘Completed’ on, then select the filter again and turn ‘Completed’ off. I have to do this after every 5 or so comments to remove them from the map so I can see what I've done, so not ideal at all. Architecture: arm64Processor: Apple M4 MaxBuild: 26.1.21563.0AGM: 8.0.1CoolType: 11.0.0JP2K: 4.0.2.54782 *I actually want to just click on a checkbox and the comment disappears using the ‘unchecked’ filter but that no longer works either!! I use checkmarks to go through a document to varify both text and numbers. After my first page the checkmarks reapear on the next. If i continue and make checkmarks and so on it becomes more on the next. If i then go back up the checkmarks from later pages comes up on the early ones. Why is this happening?

I'm using an HP LaserJet M479 all-in-one.  All was working well on my old MacBook Pro (Intel), but not on my new MacBook Pro M4 (software was re-installed, not migrated). Now, when scanning in color, I always get the error "The Selected Color Format is not supported". Scanning using Image Capture works fine, so it seems to be an Acrobat problem. Anyone have a solution for this?

JavaScript scripts run even when fields are locked (read-only).Have I missed something, or is Acrobat becoming unusable? In the attachment, both fields are read-only, try it...    

I added a custom stamp, but the image file stamps on the page in a size much larger than I desire. I have re-sized the stamp, but how do I save that size as default? It made sense to me that when I got it where I wanted it I would RMB click on the stamp and choose Properties>Make Current Properties Default, but that doesn't work. Thanks in advance for the help.

I've been using Acrobat Pro for years. I use it as a teacher for presentation purposes too. On both Mac and PC.   Now I've just noticed something which breaks my workflow badly, presentation-wise, on my new Win 10 Pro, HP zBook 15v laptop with a Swiss French keyboard layout. The shortcut "Ctrl+0", which has worked on both platforms since forever, normally zooms to fit the page both in windowed and fullscreen mode. But not on my laptop; it now increases the zoom level by a fixed increment, which is totally useless to me.   I desperately need this feature because I keep zooming in and out of documents for my courses, and the current state of affairs in the zooming business is "BROKEN". And my first course for the semester is tomorrow...   My version of Acrobat is 2017.011.30120.   I have a bad feeling that I'm stuck with this broken behavior, but any help or workaround will be appreciated.

Hello,I am attempting to open a PDF that was sent by a 3rd party vendor. The PDF crashes when opened through Acrobat. However, it can be opened through Microsoft Edge. A temporary workaround I found is to open it through Edge and then print using “Microsoft Print to PDF”. That allows me to open the PDF with Acrobat. This is an identical problem my colleague posted back in June 2022 regarding Adobe on Windows but now also happening on macOS:  It is a known bug inside Adobe Acrobat that was acknowledged and fixed by Adobe but only on Windows. This time we have also tried reaching out to Adobe contacts who managed to help us before but without any success. We're currently in a pre-release stage with macOS token driver for our smart cards and this issue has resurfaced. When trying to sign a pdf document with RSA key associated with a certificate whose signature algorithm is ECC Adobe returns the following error: “Error encountered while signing: The credential selected for signing is invalid” Certificate in question is signed with a SHA384 ECDSA signature (sha384ECDSA). After reviewing token driver logs we concluded that Adobe is requesting a X962 ECDSA signature with a RSA key which of course is not valid and is discarded from our token driver. Considering all our smart cards containing RSA certifica

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to create "repeating" radio buttons in Adobe Acrobat Pro. I have a PDF with multiple pages that needs to be filled out. The first section is the gender. First I created a group and put 2 choices in (male and female). Afterwards I duplicated the group using the "duplicate across pages" function. The problem is, that if I select "male" on page one, on page two, the radio buttons ar still not checked. With a text field this is no problem. I duplicated the text field "name" from the frist page to the second. If I write a name in the field on page 1, it automatically transfers the same name onto page 2. Is this possible somehow with radiobuttons?

This just started happening.  When I try to update the APP it says an update is available but then the process cancels because it says it can’t find a file.  I have tried multiple times uninstalling Adobe with the special tool but that does not help.

Hello all, I am using Acrobat Pro on a iMac device. I used the Scan & OCR option to recognize text in the file, which it successfully completed. When I select the "Correct recognized text" tool, the pink boxes of questionable OCR also populates as expected. However, when I select the tool to edit the OCR text with "Recognized as," the option to edit the text and to accept those changes are both greyed out. I checked for updates and signed out and back into the Adobe account to see if those would fix the issue to no avail. However, my Windows installation works without a problem. Hopefully, someone will have a better idea as to what is occuring here and how to fix it.  Thanks!

I would like to turn off the bookmark tab permanently that automatically opens for every pdf I open in Acrobat. It takes up a large chunk of my screen with every file I open, and I don't use the bookmarks. I want to do this for ALL pdfs I ever open. Not just for one file at a time. As far as I can tell, this is something the developers will need to make possible. There's a discussion about it, but no request to make this change that I am aware of.How can I turn off permanently the bookmarks panel... - Page 2 - Adobe Community - 12992518 Please upvote so we can get this change made!

Context:I’m working with dynamic IRS PDF forms. When I open these forms in Edge, Chrome, or Firefox, I can populate fields and save the PDF. The typed values are visible in the browser.  We’re a small accounting firm. However, when I open the same saved PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro, all the fields appear blank, even though they were populated in the browser.Questions:Why does Acrobat Pro not display field values that were typed and saved in browser PDF viewers? Is there a supported way to save a browser-edited PDF so that Acrobat Pro recognizes the field values? Are there recommended workarounds to preserve editable fields and their data when switching from browser editing to Acrobat Pro?I’d appreciate guidance or best practices for ensuring that form field data populated in a browser remains visible and editable in Acrobat Pro.

Hi everyone,I recently scanned a few ID and document pages using my phone, but when I open the PDF in Acrobat, some text looks slightly blurry and not very sharp. I’m trying to make the document clearer for online submission and verification purposes.I already tried rescanning with better lighting, but the quality still doesn’t look as clean as expected after saving as PDF. Hello everyone, as of recently we have been unable to open Adobe Acrobat without it basically failing and wanting to close down. I believe it is connected to this Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous update failing to update or even install I think. When I install with setup.exe I can install Acrobat 25.1, but if I want to use an mst and use the msi install, it installs 21.1.Want to figure out how to install Acrobat 25.1 with the mst applied.
