Good afternoon, everyone, I have a (possibly) strange question.  I have the Acrobat add in installed in Excel (O365) and, previously, it used to work fine.  Recently, when I use the add in to convert multiple tabs in Excel to PDF, it scrambles my tab order after it converts.  (Recently = over a year ago.  :))  For example, my tabs are A, B, C, D, E, F before conversion.  After conversion, it may be rearranged as D, E, A, B, F, C.  I have not yet found a pattern.  The only thing I can discern is that the tabs are rearranged each time. It doesn't happen if I only convert one tab at a time or if I use the print to Adobe PDF feature. Anyone know who to fix this?  I can still work but it's become a bit of an annoyance having to rearrange my tabs back to how they were before conversion. Thank you kindly!

Almost every user that we have using adobe has gotten this error at some point. It will come up when first opening the PDF, normally users can just click ok and it will open the PDF like normal and allow them to make changes. Lately to pop up will continue to come up when the user is trying to edit the file, heaviliy disrupting their ability to work continuously within a PDF. In the past I have fixed it by doing a complete uninstall of Adobe and Creative Cloud including deleting all program files and running the CC cleaner tool. After completely uninstalling and reinstalling the error used to go away. Now I have mulitple users that are still getting the error after the complete uninstall and reinstall. Is there anyway to fix this error? 

I've been trying for several days to save a PDF form that I've created in acrobat with fillable fields.  No matter what I do or how I save as the fillable fields vanish when I reopen the file.  I just need to be able to email the form to people for them to fill in the fields.  Please help.  I read all this similar posts and there were no helpful suggestions.  I'm working with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat from the Creative Cloud suite.

I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and taking previous versions of a form I have used in pastyears and updating certain data fields and headings.  I am looking to distribute this file (Tools --> PrepareForm --> Distribute --> Distribute Form (email option) --> Save a local copy and manually send later -->check off "collect name & email from recipients to provide optimal tracking" and then hit "finish" ). However, no distribution file is being created.  My IT department has not been very responsive inattempting to resolve this issue.  I have attempted modifying file names, selecting different locations tosave...but nothing is working.  This process has always worked in previous years.  Has anyoneexperienced this issue and if so, how can it be resolved?  Thank you

PDF not showing transitions when in full-screen view? ====A PDF that includes page transitions of  "Fade" and "Slow" on ALL pages is no longer showing the transitions. Whenever I open a document in Adobe Acrobat, it just scrolls to the bottom.  When I try to go to the top, it automatically pages through the document.   Automatic scrolling is not checked.   Please help!

When closing some PDF documents the following error appears:"The instruction at 0x000000006605D107 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000500. Hi,I am admin of a business account that has a Creative Cloud Plan which is assigned to a team member. My personal plan is Acrobat Pro which I can see when I switch to my personal account. However, I can`t use the e-signature feature. It gives me an error message "E-signing services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." when I click on Invite to e-sign. It doesn`t work on web and app. Kindly advise. Claudia

DC will not open pdf's from downloads - typical is the screenshot attached.   'open' does nothing - been doing this for a month   have uninsallted and reinstalled  - anyone?   ty  

Worked fine a couple of days ago but now says can't print and sends me to Help page. Tried everything there.  Acrobat Pro Continuous Release v 2024. 005.20400 Unified Version on Mac Sequoia 15.5.  Will print if "print as image" is selected. Creative cloud says the app is up to date.  Every other type of file prints without issue to HP Officejet Pro 8600 series.

Hi!I user Acrobat 2017 Pro (2017.012.30262) under MS Windows 10. Sometimes I have to generate PDFs to which other PDFs are attached under the paper clip symbol. To open these documents conveniently, I place links in the main document.Previously, clicking on one of the links opened an attached document in a new tab of the same Acrobat window, which was exactly what I wanted. Now, however, now when I create new documents with attachments, clicking on a link opens the attachment in the tab of the main document, i.e., the main document is replaced by the attachment. I am not aware of having deliberately changed any options associated with the links.How can I revert to the previous behavior and include links that open attachments in a new tab?

I want to merge several pptx files in Acrobat using the Merge tool in Acrobat. The tool opens, but does not display a preview of the pptx files. When I select Merge, the program starts but then closes with the message “No PDF file was created due to an unknown error found by Adobe Acrobat.” It works on another computer. Do you have any ideas?

Hello everyone,I recently encountered an issue with the import function for Adobe Pro to convert Word/Excel documents into a PDF. This is happening with multiple people. We are on Windows 11 Enterprise, Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit (checked for updates), and running on Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise. Previosuly we were on Office 2019. Using the import function within Adobe would work flawlessly, allowing to browse and select Word/Excel files and it would convert to PDF. However, ever since we upgraded to 365 Apps, we now encounter an error:At first, I thought it was just that specific document. It turns out, it happens to all Excel/Word documents. I even tried creating a new document and would encounter the same error. I have tried installing the 32-bit of Adobe and re-installing Adobe, this did not work. The Acrobat PDF Maker add-in for Word/Excel is active. I disabled and re-enabled, this did not help.  Opening the Word/Excel document and using the the "Create and Share

I need this answer broken down to a level a non-IT guy can do.     I am trying to complete a telework document for the Navy.  I am required to sign it.  When I go to e-sign the document it states: "The document could not be saved.  There was a problem reading the document (105)."    The file explorer was closed, I don't even know how to turn on the preview feature.  Other documents were JUST e-signed minutes before.  The customer support system for Adobe sucks, and if there was a competitor I would leave adobe's worthlessness in the dustbin of history, but alas I am stuck.  I need help with this now, as I can't work until this form is completed, and I can't complete this form due to this issue.

How do you keep a PDF editable after someone has signed it, to allow another person to add to the form and sign it via the editable sections. It appears to not be editable once a person has signed and saved the form.

Hi everyone.  I'm trying to create an editable PDF in Acrobat DC using the typeface Cooper Hewitt.  Unfortunately, I can't get the whole typeface family to show up, only one font which shows as ital.  Why wont the entire typeface family (bold, semibold, book, etc.) show up in my fonts in acrobat? Thanks 

Hey!I want to create a keyboard shortcut for "Combine Files into a Single PDF". But Acrobat does not allow OS X to use it's built-in keyboard shortcut engine. I turned on "Single key accelerators" but there is no shortcut for what I need. Is there really no way to have a keyboard shortcut for this? Is that a glitch in the Matrix? 🙂 Thank you

I am using Adobe Acrobat 2025 on a PC. I would like Acrobat to automatically close after I close the last PDF tab without it going to the Home Screen. It is annoying that I am forced to have to manually close the program. This extra step is unneccessary. I have searched the preferences but find no options to address this issue. In searching the past community  comments, it appears this has been an issue for many years. Is there any chance Adobe will address this?

Hi,I hope you would assist me, I have performed same actions as suggested by one of the article "Add to trusted certificates" button is grayed out"  to verify it i click on singnature properties>Show Signer's Certificates>Trust  it still shows crossed mark. Actions performed was : navigated to "Edit>Preferences>Signatures>Identites & Trusted Certificate>More>Trusted Certificates>Edit Trust. Thank you!Regards,Rashmi K
