Adobe Acrobat seems to be having trouble with Sitka fonts on my machine since upgrading to Windows 11. I'm trying to update my resume, which has Sitka Banner for most of the bullet points. In the image below, please notice how the entire line "Jave, MATLAB" is Sitka Banner. However when adding new text, with the same formatting conditions, the text is clearly heavier and badly different: "Bob's my uncle". Adobe thinks both fonts are Sitka Banner. If I convert a word doc to PDF, almost the entire thing is changed to this different "Bob's my uncle" font which is not Sitka Banner (looks more like Sitka Text). I can only imagine this is a bug related to to the Windows 11 upgrade since the font family hasn't changed. Please help!  

How can I default my copy number to 1. Somehow mine changed to 38 and I have tried all I can find to fix it. I even deleated adobe and reinstalled and it still defaults to 38. If I print from word or google it does not.

I have several PDFs that I have to combine into a single document. Each page of the PDF has a page label set which I need to retain.I have tried several methods (create PDF from multiple, dragging pages from one to another, inserting pages from file), and it will screw up the page labels for the pages being inserted (it changes them to the same label as the page they are being inserted after)Is there a way to merge multiple PDF documents and retain their page labels?

Hello,I noticed that this was posted long time ago, but I'm unable to fix this problem in my current version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 23.1.20143.0 (creation data 2023/04/04). Often, while I'm trying to send to print an email or PowerPoint document to PDF, I'm getting this  following error:--%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%Aptos-Narrow-Bold-Italic not found, using Courier.%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%%Stack:[56 96 145 0]()%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%--Help icon doesn't show an option for "check for updates". 

Using the Actions, I can set up a batch appending a specific file to a set of files in a folder, but is there any way to set it up so that whatever file is in a folder (it’s always just one) is appended to whatever files are in a second folder? i.e., I want to attach the one translation certificate PDF that I place in the CERTIFICATE folder to the translated PDFs in TRANSLATIONS folder, and output the merged files to the OUTPUT folder. When I’m done with that batch, I can just delete the files in the CERTIFICATE folder and TRANSLATIONS folder, put new files in there, and run the Action to get the new outputs--all without having to Edit the Action.

I'm afraid to ask based on what I have read about radio button groups. All I want is the most basic functionality that anyone would expect to see happen. I have 3 questions that require a Yes or No answer. I added a set of 2 radio buttons to question 1 and set them to Yes or No, making Yes selected by default. Of course they were automatically created in Group 1.Now, I need the same thing for question 2 and question 3. But when I create new buttons they get added to Group 1 which does not work. When you go in the Properties you can see the Group 1 with a dropdown but there is no other group in there to select and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make another group for the buttons for question 2 and then another group for the buttons for question 3. People are talking about custom scripts creating fields and all this, I just need some functioning radio buttons. For nearly 10 years, our team has been PDF scanning documents, creating a share link, and then we store that link in our internal database to view the documents when reviewing customer records. Our team has grown, and we have about 15 acrobat team accounts..Recently, one of our long-standing users left the company, and we made the account "inactive" and all the shared links stopped working. We were able to re-allocate the licence and the shares came back. The problem is, we need to store the documents in the "organisation", not against individual users - we need to allocate users as they come and go. Worse, we now have a lot of accounts that we can NEVER change/disable because it will break all the links to the shared documents we have created over the last 10 years! Apparently, making their files available to another licenced user is INSUFFICIENT to make the shared links active. The goal is to have a central "organisation wide" repository of PDF documents that

Dear all,yesterday I launched Illustrator, then pressed Cmd-O, selected a PDF, selected a specific page to Open and everything looked fine. I saved this as an .ai file and worked on it for a while, moving the image to another layer, drawing above it, etc. Today, when opening the original PDF in Acrobat, it started to behave strangely (slow, flashing screen, non-responsive) and upon going to the page that was opened in Illustrator the error “Not enough data” appeared and then Acrobat crashed.Going into macOS Finder and looking the that PDF returned a PDF icon without a preview, clear sign of a damaged document. Neither Preview not Acrobat could open it with all its pages intact. I used Time Machine and restored a previous version but this was quite scary. Please know that I didn’t LINK the PDF to Illustrator, rather opened one of its pages and then saved it as an .ai document. What did I do wrong? Adode Acrobat을 크리에이티브 클라우드에서 설치했는데 안열립니다pdf를 열려고 하면 어도비 아크로뱃에 할당된 CPU가 0%로 뜨면서 응답없음으로 넘어가버립니다… 삭제 후 재설치해봤는데도 안됩니다ㅜ I installed Adobe Acrobat from Creative Cloud, but it won’t open properly.When I try to open a PDF, Acrobat shows 0% CPU usage in Task Manager and then becomes “Not Responding.”  I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat, but the issue persists.Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated.Thank you.

I have uninstalled Acrobat reader from my PC due to an error message that I was receiving. Ever since, I am trying to install it again from the download page of Adobe, but I have no luck. I start the installation, the installation runs fine and when it finishes I get a success message. BUT the app is not installed on my PC. I cannot find it in my installed apps and i cannot ask my PC to open PDF files with Acrobat. They only open in my Chrome browser.I have tried to clen up the whole thing with the Adobe suggested cleaner, i have repeated the steps a million times, still no luck.   Can anyone suggest a solution?   Many thanksDinos

Using Acrobat 2020 Pro I'd like to be able to rotate a batch of pdf/a files counterclockwise 90°. I tried a couple of PreFlight options both the standard menu options and the print production extensive menus. Honestly there are so many options I don't really know how to configure it correctly. It seems daunting for such an easy task. The standard menu preflight did not work it seemed to skip the rotation for all the files during the action wizard.

How is the Opacity effect in Painter consistent with that of Stager? The transparency adjustment in Painter is quite different from that in Stager.

初めまして。弊社でiCADにAdobe PDFを導入した際の不具合について報告します。iCADで部品図をPDF変換する時にAdobe PDFを導入しましたが、変換元のicdファイルをPDF変換するとicdデータの名称の【.】以降の部分が消えてしまいます。(例:製品φ0.5mm.icdをPDF変換すると、製品φ0.pdfになってしまう)テストでWordやExcelで同様なことを行った場合はこのような不具合がありませんでした。もし有識者がいましたら教えてください

Since the AI Assistant feature was introduced, I've been experiencing a consistent issue with Acrobat on Windows 11 Pro (fully updated, original licensed version). Every time I open the app, it freezes for a while, then unfreezes, freezes again, and eventually becomes usable. However, this pattern repeats every time I close and reopen the application.My system is not the issue: SSD, dedicated GPU, plenty of RAM and storage. All my Adobe apps are up to date, and the problem seems isolated to Acrobat. I strongly suspect the issue began with the AI Assistant integration, as everything was smooth before.In addition, I have a long-standing question: why do Acrobat updates not appear in the Creative Cloud desktop app like other Adobe apps (e.g., Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)? I've always had to update Acrobat manually from within the app itself. Is there a technical reason for this separation?I'd appreciate any insights, solutions, or explanations from the community or Adobe staff.Thanks

Hallo zusammen,ich muss über 2.000 einzelne PDF Dateien mit einem Java Script ausstatten.Überall soll das gleiche Script rein.Hat jemand eine Idee wie man das am schnellsten macht, außer alles von Hand einzeln reinkopieren? 

Windows 11 machines, the C:\Windows\Installer folder gets dozens of 1gb .msi files every month? They keep downloading to the folder and never disappear. Some machines have filled up over 300gb of these files hitting that folder.  Any idea what might cause it? It's not a folder we can just willy nilly delete stuff from...any ideas? 

I recently installed the recent Adobe Pro DC updates. A simple yellow highlighting feature used over the years is now seemingly impossible. When clicking the highlighter, the text areas show myriad border lines and when I try to put the cursor in front of text I want to highlight, huge blocks of asymmetrical shapes are highlight in yellow instead of just the word or sentence I am wanting to highlight.I am also finding other simple edit functions are not working properly.Please advise.Douglas Stewart[Personal info removed by Mod: Email]

Hello Adobe Community, Alot of my users are experiencing an issue when they open a PDF document, it hangs or freezes randomly. This is causing work disruptions across the board. I've done research and tried multiple solutions, the solution that seems to work as of right now is disabling the option "enable protected mode at startup". I have a specific user who has an addon that requires this to be enabled. Is there another workaround that wont require this to be disabled, or possibly a permanent fix in the works? My adobe version is currently 23.008.20421.0 this is the most current version of adobe acrobat.  I've already done a full reinstall of the application + I ran the adobe cleaning tool. Still having this issue afterwards. 

When opening the attached document in Adobe Acrobat Pro (desktop version), an error message occurs stating that it cannot extract the embedded font. On the other hand, the text is successfully displayed in Adobe's web version, Foxit PDF, and Chrome. 

The opening page shows lots of tiles like ‘create a template’ and  ‘suggested tools’. I only want to see a list of recent files and not all this clutter.  Is this possible?

I create PDF’s all day long as reports as part of my job. Some jobs have multiple reports per day. My cloud-based software creates the PDF and opens it in the Adobe Chrome extension in a new tab. (This is what i want it to do. Otherwise it would download it to the Downloads folder, give it an automatic name, and then I’d have to load the full Acrobat app, review it, close it, and then press F2 to rename and file it away. So I’m NOT looking for another way to view the PDF files. It’s working fine.What’s NOT working fine is that every single time I create a PDF and it opens in a new tab, I'm greeted with the following nagware banner: (attached).In my case, I’m the one creating these PDFs. I don’t need a generative summary of my own work. I know what it is… because I'm the one that made it.PLEASE give us an option to remove this nagware! There’s a great selection of AI tools in Adobe. Hi everyone, I've got a layered file which I simply cannot access properly. It's a sewing pattern and you should be able to switch the right size layer on or off to allow you to print it off as you wish. However, in both Reader and Acrobat the layers properties etc are all greyed out so I cannot access any of it. I've attached a screenshot to show what I mean so I hope someone might have a solution!
