Hi everyone,I am creating PDF menus for my restaurant website using Adobe Acrobat.Some images and content are linked from my website:https://arabicmenu.orgHowever, Acrobat sometimes does not load the latest version of these images or content.I have already tried:Updating Acrobat to the latest versionRefreshing the links in the PDFChecking internet connectionTesting on multiple devicesEven after these steps, some external content still does not update in Acrobat.Does anyone know a reliable way to ensure that PDFs always display the latest content from external websites?Thank you for your guidance!

An Acrobat Distiller error window pops up on Windows Startup with the message " Another instance of Distiller is busy starting up. This instance cannot continue". See image below. Several windows will popup. Any asistance on why this keeps happening is appreciated. Thanks!  

I used to be able to add a text box using the typewriter tool in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. However, I cannot find this feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024. All I can find in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 is the Add Text feature, but this does not do what I want. I want to add a text box on top of the PDF, not Add Text that modifies the existing text in my PDF and causes all the text to shift over to the next line and modifies all the formatting.

Hello,I am reporting a persistent issue where my saved signature does not persist across different PDF documents when using the Adobe Acrobat for Google Drive app integration. The Issue: When using the "Fill & Sign" tool, I upload my signature image, select the "Save" checkbox, apply it to the PDF, and save the document back to Drive. The signed document is correct. However, when I close that PDF and open a new PDF document from Drive, the saved signature is gone, and I am required to re-upload the image every single time. Expected Behavior: Since I explicitly selected the "Save" option and am logged in via my Google SSO (which is linked to my Adobe account), the signature should be immediately available in the "Fill & Sign" menu for subsequent PDFs. Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:Confirmed I am logged into my Adobe account via Google SSO.Explicitly selected the "Save" option when applying the signature.Tested the entire workflow in a Chrome Incognito window

Hello!This morning, I run the third party updates sync from Config Manager console and noticed that there was an update to security certificate for Adobe Reader DC catalog (thumbprint: BF7153FEEFC282B9F1D11CEC997EC01AD76F6693).  However, Adobe Acrobat catalog is still using the old certificate ( thumbprint: 96b7b1ef175bba4bde33a05402134289b28b5bcb expiring today Nov. 4th. 2025).Please let me know when do you expect that cert to be updated.I appreciate your assitance very much. Andre

In every other program it works fine but in Acrobat, selecting text and then using cmd+c to copy doesn't work. I found a solution on here for Windows that said to - first hold ctrl - then hold c - then release c - then release ctrl and then it would work again, but it only does sometimes. It's very efficient to each time have to right click and select the "copy/text". This issue started appearing after an update a while ago but I'm only posting now as I've honestly just been avoiding using Acrobat.Surely there's a solution to this? Thanks!

Hi everyone, We’re currently trying to understand the expected behavior of the Adobe integration within SharePoint and are facing several inconsistencies. We have SharePoint Online and several users with Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro licenses. Our goal is to use Adobe for signing and requesting signatures directly from SharePoint. We have configured the Syntex pay-as-you-go solution and added Adobe as the signature provider. Issues Observed1. Just recently two PCs no longer fully load page thumbnails when in Organize Pages. Typically, this view would be used to quickly correct page orientation. If I double click an image in Organize Pages, the image loads successfully. If I scroll through the images, they load quickly with no lag. Any ideas why the thumbnails won't load in Organize Pages? The file is about 300MB and I give it a few minutes to 'fully load' despite it immediately opening. I checked for common issues and reinstalled Acrobat on both workstations.See image for reference issue. PC Specs:i9-13900128GB RamNVIDIA RTX A4500 20GB 

Hello,  I am having issues on my Mac getting Acrobat Pro. I have a Pro licence but only the standard will load. I logged out of Cloud and all apps. I tried going to Library/Applications Support/Adobe and made back ups of SLStore and SLCache and deleted.Restarted the mac. But still same issue. When I launch Adobe Acrobat and say "about adobe acrobat" there is no Licence listed at all.On other users in the same ORG undert the same admin consol I can see that they are listed. Any help appricated. Thank you

In the new UI, add-ons don't display their icons, and the pop-up menu doesn't appear above the clicked tool; it appears a little further down, above the displayed document. Are these bugs, or is the new UI truly designed against common sense?   Thank you.   New UI:   Normal UI (aka Old UI):

How can I get rid of the horrible 'AI Assisitant' ? I hate, hate, hate, hate eeverything about it. I hate the popups that constantly get in my way every time I open a new PDF, I hate the way it dramatically slows down the application every time I want to just search for something, and I hate that way that it doesn't work at all or provide any value of any form. I just want it gone and never, ever, ever, ever, under any circumstances want it to be there getting in the way of every simple thing I want to do.  Please, please, please, please: how can I make it just go away? I just want to open and look at a PDF for heavens sake, I don't need any of this AI nonsense.-Ed May

I am using Adobe Acrobat (version 2025.001.20918) on MacOS Tahoe (26.1) and it crashes whenever I go to Prepare a Form, and then control-click on an element in the form and click Properties. It crashes on older installations as well as brand new installations. I have attached a PDF that causes the crash every time. I recently updated to Tahoe 26.1 on my Macbook pro and now everytime I double click an editable field to update it crashs (quits). Tried multiple files and also reinstalling Acrobat etc... but no luck. It ppears to be an issue with the Tahoe 26.1 update? Does anyone have solutions.

There was an update today that I am assuming caused this error. I have started recieving "an internal error occured" and I cannot open any existing PDF's on my computer. I have uninstalled & reinstalled Adobe pro multiple times and then I did the same with Creatiev Cloud including using their remover tool. I checked the security tools as recommended in multiple articles and they are all set to full control. I now cannot even open the program as an admin. It was previously only opening to blank pages (no tools or info available) but now it just won't open. I need customer service assistance or some tech help as I use this all day for my job.  TIA

Hi,I have a Validate button on a form that has an IF statement that says, if the required fields have nothing in them, show a message that says to complete the required fields, and it also highlights them using the "showRequired" function.If the required fields are already filled in, then it shows a message that says all required fields have been filled in.The showRequired function is being called at the end of the IF statement, which makes the fields get highlighted whether they have all been filled in, or not.I was just wondering if it is possible to put the showRequired function into the First Half of my IF statement, so that it would highlight them if they have NOT been filled in.And, then, the code after the "ELSE" would just show the message that everything has been filled in, and it would not highlight the fields.I have tried to do this, but I keep getting syntax errors and I have tried just about every way of re-doing it.  Not having any luck.I even tried turning the IF St

Adobe Acrobat is always creating a folder called "Documents" (in english) after installing or updating it.The problem is that i´m from Spain, and my computer is using spanish language , so if i go to my folders i have "Documentos" folder and "Documents" created by adobe during the install or update process.The same folder with different languages. Acrobat installation shouldn´t create the "documents" folder.Thanks

When Creating a PDF from a Web Page using the Enhanced engine, the resulting PDF is untagged, and thus inaccessible.When using the Classic engine it results in a Tagged PDF, but Alt-text for images does not convert.

JavaScript scripts run even when fields are locked (read-only).Have I missed something, or is Acrobat becoming unusable? In the attachment, both fields are read-only, try it...    

Hi gurus, I came across the situation where I want to select multiple value from list box and display those selected values to Text field.For eg: Lets say we have 2 fields. one is  list box. another is Text field. My  List box contains RedBlueGreenYellowBlackIf user selects Red, Blue and Yellow. Then I want to display these 3 values on the Text field simultaneously.Now, I have seen the code where  var v = this.getField("ListBox1"); but the issue is I dont have this functionality(this.getField) in my adobe livecycle designer.Attached ss of not having functionality. so can you pls provide js or any solution through which I can resolve this.   

I have been using Acrobat for something like 20 years now, and it's the worse it's ever been.  I can barely use it for two minutes before it completely hangs up. The application is not responding to anything, no matter what I do, and I have to shut it down via the Task Manager. I tried a fresh install, the cleaner tool, and everything else I can think of. Nothing works. I'm just about to give up on the tool I've used for my work for a long period of time and that I have stood up for for many years and defended it as the "Industry Standard". I think I know my way around it, and if I can't get it to do the most basic tasks (like open a PDF for more than 2 minutes), how can you expect anyone else to be able to?   Adobe, you've managed to make me hate your applications. I'm just about to uninstall it for good, or at least until you get your act together.
