The “Acrobat Pro” app is no longer in our Creative Cloud apps. Was the acrobat pro” version dropped from teacher plans? All I see is the "free" Acrobat version in the teacher plan, which is not enough for our needs.
This is the 4th time now I've wasted time searching for ways to stop the constant attempts from Adobe to push this Acrobat AI Assistant down my throat, what seems like every time I open the app. Yes, I've turned it off in preferences, twice in 2 different places! Today I get hit with another invasive prompt window popping up "Ask AI Assistant to summarize" or some nonsense. (Failed to screenshot it unfortunately). So into the preferences I go again, to find another 'ticked box' under "Generative AI features in Acrobat", which I'm positive wasn't there before as I can't find the previous options that I deselected, leaving me to believe this has been turned back on by Adobe during an update. Surely that must be the end of it?WRONG!Not 20 minutes later... This is definitely one of the options I turned off previously (that I now can't find), so why is this type of thing popping up again? It should be simple...AI Assistant on: AI Assistant off:&nbs
I'm on a work computer that's been used by other people. I often work short duration jobs on work computers. I'm signed into Creative Cloud using my personal account. When I opened a .PDF in Acrobat and attempted to use the "Sign yourself" option, I saw that digital signatures of previous users also showed up.When the job is over, how do I delete my signatures from Acrobat so that future users of this work computer don't have access to it?
I don't have a need for a subscription to Acrobat Pro since I am retired. However I do need to fuction of Acrobat Pro at times. I have version X for Mac and XI for windows. I can install but I am unable to to get them registered, therefore I am unable to use the program. What can I do to solve this issue?
When I select any tool in Acrobat (for example, Edit, Organize Pages, Prepare Form, etc.), the left panel appears but it is completely empty. No options or tool settings are displayed. This happens in every tool, not just Edit. I already tried restarting the app, logging out and in, reinstalling Acrobat, and resetting preferences, but the issue persists. This seems to be a very recent problem on macOS, because until last week the tools panel was working normally. The first image is from an official Adobe tutorial, showing the Edit tool with its options correctly displayed in the left panel. The second image shows my case: with the same tool (Edit) selected, the left panel is completely empty — no options appear. The third image is just illustrative, showing that the full list of tools does appear in the left panel, but the problem starts when any tool is actually selected.macOS Version 15.6 (24G84)Adobe Acrobat Pro:Architecture: arm64Processor: Apple M3 ProBuild: 25
Hello,I am reporting two issues I encountered while working on PDF accessibility in Adobe Acrobat.1. Automatic sequential selection in the Reading Order panel: When I change the order of tags in the Reading Order panel using "Cut and Paste," Acrobat automatically starts selecting every tag from the pasted position down to the very last tag in sequence (as if it's scanning through them). I cannot perform any other actions until this automatic selection process finishes, which significantly slows down my workflow.2. Content Highlighting failure: Intermittently, when I select a tag in the Reading Order panel, the corresponding content is not highlighted in the document pane. This occurs even when the "Show content highlighting" option is clearly enabled.Environment:OS: Windows 11 Home Acrobat Version: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 26.001.21431 (Latest update)Could you please check if these are known bugs or if there is a workaround?Thank you.!→This post has been moved to the bulletin acrobat boa
Hey guys, My Acrobat reader had been updated a few days ago and since then I've been having a high memory usage problem with acrobat. I wasnt able to get a screen shot since I had to restart my computer. But the few times that I could open the program manager I saw a 63% use of memory which is insane! Never had that problem befor the update and it keeps happening...I've noticed that my computer generated some MDMP files on 4/7/23 which is the date of the update, the memory problems happend since I strated using this version-since yesterday but for some reason, my computer didn't generate any MDMP files on 13-14/7/23...Does anyone else have that problem or has a solution/fix to it? Hello! First time posting. When editing a PDF, I often need to adjust the placement of text boxes to allow for ample spacing between subject areas. However, whenever I attempt to move both groups of text boxes or singular text boxes up or down, the text begins to become layered with white space from the background and cannot be read fully, or becomes obscured entirely. At first, I thought it was a display error, and i attempted to save the file with the obscured text and preview it. When I did this, the text was indeed still fully covered. I work with documents only utilizing text, so there's no possible image/shape layers that could be interfering. This has become quite frustrating, and I'd like to figure out if there's any fix for this. Thanks in advance!
Hello, In order to correctly view face highlighting PMI associations within 3DPDF we need to change the rendering mode. DirectX9 is recommended in Acrobat preferences (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/download-directx9.html).However, DirectX9 is legacy and not officially supported on Windows 11. Are there any known plans for this to be updated, or alternative supported options? Thanks.
Acrobat DC already recognized a stylus and detected it, which I love. However, it only writes in red pen. I want to change it to black. How do I do this?Much appreciated.
I need to purchase and activate licensing Acrobat Pro on a machine that's completely offline due to security constraints. This seems possible with Acrobat Pro 2024 edition with a 3 year perpetual license. I'm wondering if Adobe will continue to offer this with newer editions of the software or if there is something else I should purchase. If someone could give me some options on what might be the best approach for my situation I would appreciate it.The only reason I believe this is possible is cause of this page here.https://exception.licenses.adobe.com/aoes/aoes/v1/t1?locale=en

I am implementing remote signing through a custom Windows CNG Key Storage Provider (KSP) and testing it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.Everything seems to work fine as long as “Enable Protected Mode at startup” is disabled:I can “Use a certificate → Digitally Sign”, the certificate is visible and selectable in Acrobat I can preview the signature, click sign and apply the siganture The file saves without a problemAs soon as I “Enable Protected Protected mode at startup”, it seems to work well up untill I click sign:I can “Use a certificate → Digitally Sign”, the certificate is visible and selectable in Acrobat I can preview the signature Nothing happens when I click sign; no error message, not anything; jsut nothingI understand “Protected Mode” may block some of the components; as far as I can tell, it loads the KSP DLL, calls GetKeyStorageInterface, calls OpenProvider, then stops. No calling of GetProviderProperty, EnumAlgorithms, etc.Is certificate signing through a third-party custom CNG K
I've been asked to create an instructional training about using the HP Active Pen G3 to perform a variety of tasks for our investigators, I am able to use the pen to highlight and select things or activate in a form an area to enter information to in Adobe, but I am not able to use it to sign or annotate the documents. I can't write in the various fillable options in a form using the stylus. No pop-up keyboard appears ever to be able to use to enter in information. I don’t see an option to use it to enter text anywhere. I don't know if I am missing something obvious, but is there a stylus mode within Adobe Acrobat? I thought the stylus pen would have more functionality to it within Adobe. It appears to be unable to be used to fill in portions that I am allowed to type in. Can anyone tell me how to use the stylus to be able to fill in areas of a fillable form designated for text? Thanks in advance.
I have a relatively quick computer, i7 64gb ram, and OMG just opening Acrobat, or any sized documents takes forever… :30 seconds minimum. 6-12 months ago they opened instantly. This is painful. I literally forget what I was looking for in reports by the time these documents open up. I uninstalled and reinstalled (Continuous Release 2026 001 21431). Dell XPS 9510 64gb, 2x1TB SSDs, Windows 11 Pro Insider Program (which I predict will be said to be the problem) all updated. I ran the repair and it took at least 15 minutes? The ‘Please wait while Windows configures Adobe Acrobat’ ‘Gathering Required Information’ took :30 minutes! It seems, that over the last year, ever since Acrobat started heavily integrating AI into Acrobat, performance nosedived. Maybe I’m wrong. I’ve disabled any AI functions (preferences/Generative AI - unchecked all) largely because I have been having this slowness issue… which got much worse after reinstalling this time around. Is there an older version (2024 would b
After updating to Version (26.001.21431) none of the toolbar or menu bar settings will stay active. I have tried a “Repair Installation”, a "Restore last view settings when reopening documents", and “Reset Toolbars”. No matter what every ocument I open now defaults to the menu bar and tool bar being turned off. Please fix this. It has never been an issue until the latest update.
We’ve run into a new problem (April 2024) with Adobe Acrobat Pro being unable to connect to the SharePoint server to publish or get comments from Shared Review PDFs. Note: We have tried basic troubleshooting (restarting app, restarting system, reinstalling app, however the problem persists). The old workaround for this issue (resetting internet explorer) does not work. Problem Summary:We believe the problem is that Adobe Acrobat Pro uses an Internet Explorer embedded control to sign-in to SharePoint and access Shared Review PDFs. Internet Explorer is *end of life* and SharePoint automatically blocks Internet Explorer sign in to SharePoint and One Drive. (Adobe Article - "Use of Internet Explorer embedded control for SharePoint Shared Reviews") As an Adobe Acrobat Pro user when you open a Shared Review PDF hosted on SharePoint what you see is an unexpected pop-up message telling you to upgrade your Browser (picture below). This pop-up is due to SharePoint blocking In
Using Adobe Acrobat Pro javascript. Need to detect when user clicks “Cancel” in Windows file dialog box triggered by adobe javascript importAnFDF() command. Using this code :var noCatch = 0;try{importAnFDF();} catch (err) {app.alert("Import of Saved SGS File Cancelled by USER",3);noCatch = 1;}if(noCatch==0){app.alert("File Imported",3);} // Code returns “File imported” when user actually cancelled the Windows dialog box.

I’m needing the “Convert TrueType fonts to CID fonts” option in preflight. How do we get this option? This is a screenshot I found online on how to access it, but I only have the “convert fonts to outlines”. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi all, I updated to the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro late yesterday. I started noting it was a bit slow and glitchy today, and now it’s outright stopped letting me make any changes to pdfs without crashing and giving me this report.I have tried repairing the installation, uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, uninstalling my latest windows updates, deleting and restarting the PDF from scratch, creating new PDFs, testing it on a different machine, made sure I have no third party plug-ins, etc. The only thing I haven’t done is a clean install, because I’m not actually sure what the problem is I don’t want to go through the hassle if I don’t have to.<crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" exceptionCode="0xc0000005" instruction="0x00000000565553CC"><backtrace crashedThread="0"><thread index="0"><stackStatement index="0" address="0x00000000565553CC" symbolname="AIDE::PixelPartInfo::PixelPartInfo"/><stackStatement index="1" address="0x00000000565501C4" s

The latest update - 26.001.21431 - does not work for Adobe Acrobat Reader.26.001.21431 Planned update, Apr 14, 2026 — Acrobat-Acrobat Reader Release NotesI usually push the MUI Reader update without issue, but when I try to run this MSP I get the following error: “This patch package could not be opened. Contact the application vender to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.” Is there something wrong with the latest patch? The ones before it worked fine. The Acrobat Pro patch for today also worked fine.EDIT - Looks like the one from April 10th also doesn’t work. The last patch I used without issue was AcroRdrDCx64Upd2600121367_MUI.msp
