I am trying to add a button to a fillable PDF so that the person who needs to complete and return the form can add a few pictures.Is there a way to do this?Eg. 

I am saving a Microsoft Words file which has few tables in the file to a PDF (Sample rows below).PTPVA  OTPVB  STPVC While printing and saving it as PDF, the PDF arranges and shows the tables in right visual order of  PT, OT and ST. However, when we select the text and paste details in notepad, the order of tables read is not the same. Like PT is selected first followed by ST and then OT.  We do not have missing table rows, just order seems to be disarranged. Are there any changes needed to word file which will save and select the tables in same order. Due to this issue, PDF to text reading programs are reading table details in different order than as seen in the PDF creating confusion to readers.     

Thanks to this thread I was able to attach files to my Adobe Form but my follow-on question is this: How do I or a user confirm the file (such as a Word doc or PDF) was successfully attached? 

Help!  Been on the phone 3x with Adobe staff, 12 hours on this Runtime Error 53 Visual Basic MACPDFM. Adobe has been helpful in doing a temporary fix (they acknowledge it's an issue ADOBE has) but then the problem continues to come back for Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.  Does any user or Adobe customer have a solution that is PERMANENT or is this something I will need to live with this error every time I open a word or ppt file?Seeking "HOW TO", "GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING" guidance from the experts

I am using the new version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023. I added enhance a scanned document or image to the toolbar. When I click it, it selects the image but there is no “enhance” button. I am having a strange issue that I never had before. I am working in a PowerPoint presentation and need to send my client a PDF. I "save as" PDF using settings I have used a million times before and when I open the file in Acrobat X Pro all is fine except the background color will not show. I previewed the same file in Reader and all is how it should be. I have used this template hundreds of times with no issue. Here are some things I have tried in my troubleshooting:1) used export feature instead of "save as" -- same problem.2) Copied background color boxes from master and pasted into a new master in a new file -- same problem.3) Opened an older presentation with a different template and did "save as" to PDF and it is showing perfectly in Acrobat Pro.I have searched online for answers and can't find anything that could be suddenly causing this. I have made no new updates to my computer.Also, is there a way I can attached screenshots so you can see more clearly the issues I am having?A

Hi, my Acrobat automatically updated and the UI changed drastically and both comments and pages preview are on the right column but I can only display the comments OR the pages preview and no longer see both at the same time (I used to have the pages on the left and comments on the right).This is really exasperating me since monday…Thanks a lot for your help about this

Hello,I used the Adobe certificate feature to sign a professional document, but when I merge several documents using another tool, the signatures disappear. When I open the new merged document in Adobe and click on the signatures that are still there, I get the following message:"Signature authentication error.The signature contains incorrect, unrecognized, damaged, or suspicious data.Support information: SigDict/Contents illegal data."What can I do?Thank you in advance for your help!Heloise

Hello togetherWe have quiet an unusual problem here.After the user sent a pdf via mail he cant mark or move the remaining open pdf anymore.If he opens them up again everything works again.Do you know about this issue or can somebody help us ? Our current version:2025.001.20623 Greetings

I read several newspapers online for broadcast to the blind community. Many of these newspapers are posted as a .pdf.I read the pages in the 'read' mode; otherwise, the sides of the pages are cut off. If I scroll down a page or move to another page, I have to reset the view to 'read' each time. Is there a way to permanently lock the read view?Thank you.

Every day I use Adobe Acrobat to combine files and save the combined files as one new file, then send an email with the file (using outlook) – in a new email the “attach file” action shows my recent files list, and those files I create/save from acrobat always appeared there until suddenly it stopped last week.   This is only for files saved from Adobe Acrobat, because everything else in outlook and recent works as expected.Also to note, I believe there was an update to Adobe that was pushed through last week. Adobe version 2025.001.20630 (64bit)Microsoft 365 for business version 2507 (using "old" outlook, not the new version)

Hi everyone,I am working with some PDF files that contain a lot of high resolution images, and the file size has increased quite a bit. I would like to ask if there is a way or setting in Adobe Acrobat to reduce the size while maintaining the sharpness?I tried exporting some documents related to the classic game Mahjong (e.g. Mahjong123.de) to present in PDF, but the images are too heavy. Which preset should I use when “Save as Optimized PDF”?

We're a construction company, and frequently deal with high-res, long architectural PDFs. As of the most recent few versions, when we try to use the Organize Pages feature on these, Acrobat will consume ALL of the computer's remaining memory and start paging when it's trying to display the thumbnails. This will continue until the computer is actually unusable, and can only be recovered by forcibly rebooting, if you don't terminate the task before that point. This happens quickly, over the course of a couple minutes. Our IT was able to reproduce this on one of their computers. It seems like a severe memory leak. We've already thoroughly removed/cleaned Acrobat and reinstalled it, to no effect. It is not limited to particular PDFs, nor particular sources/authors, and we aren't sure what else we can do.

I would like to create a form with a list of documents used for 3 different purposes. On the top of the form I will have a check box for each purpose that when clicked, it auto clicks the box next to the forms associated with that category. When a different purpose box at the top is clicked, the appropriate boxes next to the lists will automatically be checked as well. There will be documents in the list that will apply to all three of the purposes at the top and some that will only apply to one purpose. Is there a way to make this happen?

In an Adobe form I am trying to calculate the number of days a vehicle is driven based on dates entered on multiple lines of the form. Vehicles may make multiple trips on one day, but only one day should be counted, not the number of trips. One trip may be made up of multiple days, so all days should be counted. This example should add up to 13 days driven. The form fields are named LeaveRow1 through LeaveRow20, and ReturnRow1 through ReturnRow20. The calculated field is DaysDriven. We have Adobe Sign downloaded on Sales staff iPads. We like the simplicity of the app, as they are only using to sign contracts. Contracts can be signed in two ways for a sales representative with a customer. Sent through email (when not present), this function works perfectly in Adobe sign. The second way, in person, we want them to both be able to sign on the same document without sending it to the customers email. The option offered for sign in person does not have the functionality for this, from what I see. 

Hi all, hoping someone can help? My measuring tool has stopped working suddenly in Acrobat, it won't complete/close the measurement and when I click outside of it, it just disappears. I have found it is doing this across all of my documents, not just the one I was working on. I have tried most of the troubleshooting that I could find and am at unistall/reinstall stage but thought I'd ask here first. Thank you 🙂

When editing a document, it starts deleting the text without stopping.  How do I stop it from doing that?  Is it a glitch? I just started my free trial, and I don't like how it is going.

Create e-sign template doesnt work anymore, has anyone experienced the same and could give a hand

Hello all,I have a set of PDFs that have interactive "next page" buttons, and url and email text in the footer. The text in the footer needs to change but I can't select it for removal. Also tried the bandaid solution of covering with a replacement image ... but the old incorrect text always appears on top of the replacement. (original work files are who-knows-where so updating the PDFs should be the easiest option 😕😕 ) Any insight?

I need to create internal link from a Table of Contents to specific locations in a 299 page pdf. I know who to create links to a page, but some pages are going to need 2 or 3 links to different sections of each page. Is this possible? david

I'm trying to create a form that will calculate tax on the lines that are marked "taxable". I want to add checkboxes for taxable (Y/N), but I don't know how to create the script to calculate tax on only "Y" marked lines.
